Home está ubicado en el centro, a 15 minutos de Lackland y el aeropuerto, a 20 minutos del centro / paseo del río, a 15 minutos de Sea World, a 1 milla de HEB. A 10 minutos del centro comercial La Cantera y The Rim. House está a 2 millas del Centro de Ciencias de la Salud de UT, a 5 millas de UTSA, a 2 millas de USAA. Wonderful house for a young family!

We enjoyed our time in San Antonio, especially with the luxury of staying in a well-equipped house. The fenced in backyard was a great perk for our boys to play in while we relaxed on the covered deck. Everything about the house was perfect, and we would definitely recommend this house to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and for sharing your home with us during our stay.

Home away from Home

Immediately our 3 year old was excited to check out the coolest kid house and playground in the huuuge back yard. She was sooo happy and the weather was great. The house felt like a home. A real “Home” if you know what I mean. It was perfect for us. We are going to cherish many memories made here. The owners even went above and beyond to make this little princess happy. We loved the patio and the grill worked perfectly. We danced and laughed on the outdoor patio as we watched the little ones play on the swing set. We def will be back. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Cozy spot in quiet neighborhood; grwat for kids

Our family of 6, including girls aged 8, 6 and 7 months loved our time at this warm home. You can tell that this place has been lived in for decades as it has some wear and tear, but that also provides some of the charm. We enjoyed the open room concept, the big backyard with two playsets in the back for the kids, the patio with surround sound that was great for relaxing, the grill, the jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, and coffee beans. All the pots and pans needed to make a meal are available and there were childrens' plates, utensils, etc. While a 20 minute drive to Riverwalk, there are lots of eateries and a super market less than a mile away. There is also a nice park - Raymond Rinkus - with playground less than 10 minutes away. The hosts were informative and responsive. We recommend.

Good and bad

The house is a little dated but there is plenty of space . I did see some roaches at during my stay. Grill was good and playground great . It rained and there was a leak that came through the ceiling near the fire place . There was also a ceiling water bubble in the breakfast nook from the rain. I told the host and was accussed of allowing water to splash out of the upstairs tub onto the floor, enough for the bubble to form in the breakfast nook .. not very nice considering I showered once upstairs and did not let the tub fill up .. grocery store and bank and restaurants super close .. So there is some good and bad

Avoid this mess

While I understand and respect the guidelines for departure, I feel it’s important to share my experience during my stay.Unfortunately, the property was not as advertised, and there are several issues that significantly impacted our visit:1.Dirty Linens and Pet Smell: The linens and bedsheets were not clean, and the upstairs bedrooms had a distinct pet odor. As a pet owner myself, I can recognize this scent, and it’s clear that the sheets were not properly washed or replaced. This caused discomfort for my family, especially since some of us experienced allergies and nasal irritation.2.Plumbing Issues: The upstairs bathroom shower did not produce hot water, and the nozzle was faulty, making it difficult to use properly.3.Gas Lighter Safety Concern: The gas lighter appears to be malfunctioning, which is a potential safety hazard. Lighting the gas stove requires extra caution due to its unpredictable behavior.4.Worn Flooring: The upstairs floor seems to have aged significantly. Movements from the master bedroom are loud and disruptive, making it hard to relax.5.Noisy Fans and HVAC System: Every fan in the house produced excessive noise, making it difficult to sleep with them on. Additionally, the HVAC system in the master bedroom was extremely loud, further impacting comfort during the night.I typically avoid writing reviews like this because I value supporting local businesses, but I felt

Our stay in San Antonio

Cute house! Very homey and we had a great visit there. It's absolutely great for kids as well. Super cute playground that is in really good shape. You have to bring lots of Cutter for mosquitos are really tough at times as there is a lot of trees etc. The property owners are so nice and it was really nicely located near what you need. Lastly, had some of the best Thai food of my life locally.

Weekend getaway

It was a very nicely decorated home. Child friendly and well planned. I do find it strange that you pay a cleaning fee but still have to do some tidying chores before you leave. Perhaps if the cleaning fee wasn’t listed separately it wouldn’t be so annoying.

Great family house

We came in for three nights for our son’s graduation from Boot Camp. It was a great place to bring him to visit with his wife and kids. Much better than a hotel setting. We will be back on our regular visits to San Antonio.

Great home!

My family of 2 adults and 5 young kids stayed for a week while I worked at headquarters. The yard was a godsend, and we really enjoyed the kitchen. I need to know what sheets they use, they were SO SOFT! The host was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this home and enjoyed SA. The house is older but well taken care of. There was a weird situation with the garage and the hostess was very helpful and on top of trying to help us out!

Listing needs updated to current state of home.

Getting inside house was no trouble. Did not actually meet the owners. Received a few texts via Vrbo about checking in process. Somebody came by a few times during the stay to pull trash barrels to curb and from curb. Vegetation (trees, vines) was over growing around the property which wasn't how the listing pics came across. Broken pieces of a decorative pot half buried in ground leading up to entrance. Pond was murky green and was attracting large amounts of mosquitoes. Children were unable to play on the playground equipment due this. Had to clean counters in kitchen upon arrival. Had dried up sticky substances. Kitchen sink had leaking water spraying out where hose connects to spray head when used. Ceiling fans had thick layers of dust on the blades preventing use due to fans blowing the dust around rooms. Bedroom furniture was also dusty and had to clean them before able to use. Toilets had dried urine under seats. The provided towels for showering had long strands of black hair on them in the closet. Pics need to be updated to look more like what the current state of the home is. Some of the furniture pictured were not what was in home. Privacy fence in pics were shown to be fairly linear and kept up. They were actually warped in some places and seemed damaged.

We both grew up in San Angelo, TX where we met in college. We settled in San Antonio after my wife finished Dental school in 2004, and have loved raising our family here. We have 2 beautiful daughters, ages 8 and 6. We recently moved to the Hill Country and we decided to offer our Welles Creek home to those who wanted to stay in a warm, comfortable and family-friendly home. This is a great home that is in a very quiet neighborhood and is very convenient to everything. Less than 1 mile to HEB, 2 miles from hospitals, dental and medical schools, close to numerous shops and restaurants. We loved living in our home and making improvements to it. The backyard was always a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, hearing the birds, and enjoying the pond and fountain. Our 2 girl's loved the swing set and the children's playhouse. We want to share our home to those who are looking for a warm, inviting and family-friendly feel.

This home is 2200 square feet with a large backyard that includes a great playground and doll house for the children. Also has a great sitting area next to a pond. Has a covered patio with stereo and surround sound with a large garden. Home has a 50 inch LG television with Free Wireless internet.

The backyard is truly unique! There are lots of trees, a beautiful pond, birds galore for the nature watcher. The children's playhouse and swing set with clubhouse is wonderful for the little ones. The covered patio with lights and fans are great for some relaxation, entertaining, or just to read a good book!
