El número de registro de arrendamiento a corto plazo es 000001791888. Una casa espaciosa y de diseño arquitectónico con un toque personal y hospitalario, puede alojar cómodamente hasta 5 personas. Gran terraza y jardín, barbacoa y ducha de terraza, muebles de jardín, comedor con vista son solo algunas de las comodidades de la planta baja. Ambas habitaciones en el segundo piso tienen muebles cómodos y su propio balcón con impresionantes vistas. El salón incluye una zona de comedor.
Los propietarios viven al lado, muy conveniente en caso de que necesite algo.
La propiedad en sí perteneció y está adyacente a la finca Mercouri. La finca Mercouri es extensa con más de 150 años de historia en la producción de vino, aceite de oliva y en los viejos tiempos uvas (o grosellas) corintias. Un paseo a la bodega Mercouri (que tiene un pequeño museo) y los pueblos de los alrededores serán una gran experiencia.
Grandes monumentos y sitios arqueológicos del Patrimonio Mundial de la Unesco como Olympia (el lugar de nacimiento de los antiguos Juegos Olímpicos), el templo de Epicurius Apollo y Ancient Elis están a poca distancia. Katakolo, un pequeño pueblo pintoresco con tiendas, restaurantes y cafeterías, está a solo 3 km en coche de la villa.

Just wonderful!

Amazing surroundings, wonderful nature, great view of the sea; you sleep with the sound of the sea with the Ionian Islands in the background. The garden is perfect for kids, the house has everything you need. The owners are very hospitable (φιλοξενία), thank you very much (ευχαριστουμε πολυ)!

Hidden Gem

We chose this location for two reasons - privacy and easy accessibility to ancient Olympia. We have not regretted once. With its own access to the sea, a shady area where at any time of the day you can find a place to rest, a cosy house with everything you need, comfortable beds - all this made our stay at the villa unforgettable. And the fact that the owners (very hospitable) are nearby and at any time ready to help (from advice on where to go for dinner to health problems) creates that peace of mind that is always needed when you rent a house in which something can stop working. We all really enjoyed it. We have been renting holiday homes for many years and found this villa to be ideal for a family with grown up children. Some tips: rubber slippers for bathing and buy as much drinking water as possible on the way to the villa so you don't have to drive to get it.

Entspannung pur in der Villa Ilida

So lässt sich unserer Meinung nach der Aufenthalt am besten beschreiben. Wer Ruhe und Erholung abseits vom Tourismus sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus liegt neben drei weiteren Villen auf einer kleinen Landzunge direkt am Meer, umgeben von Olivenhainen und nahe dem Weingut Mercouri Estate. Die Vermieter Anna und Panos wohnen unmittelbar neben der Villa (gleicher Zufahrtsweg, aber klar abgegrenzte Grundstücke). Den privaten Zugang zur malerischen Meeresbucht über ein kleines Steinplateau teilt man sich mit den Vermietern und evtl. Gästen der angrenzenden Villa. Zum täglichen Schwimmen und Schnorcheln läuft man direkt vom Garten aus in maximal zwei Minuten ans Meer. Dieser sehr schön eingewachsene Olivenbaum-Garten mit Meeresblick ist ein weiteres Highlight der Villa Ilida. Auch die überdachte Veranda lädt jederzeit zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus ist gut und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Alle Fenster sind mit elektrischen Jalousien und gutem Insektenschutz versehen. Wobei wir während unseres Urlaubes Mitte August (bei über 36 Grad) weder von Wespen, Stechmücken noch Ameisen belästigt wurden. Während man also in dieser absolut ruhig gelegenen Oase herrlich relaxen kann, bietet die unmittelbare Umgebung mit den Ortschaften Korakochori und Katakolo nicht gerade den größten Charme. Das antike Olympia hingegen hat uns sehr gefallen (Besuchstipp). Insgesamt kann man die durch die nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin Anna mit viel Liebe und Engagement geführte Villa Ilida nur empfehlen.

Beautiful place, ideal situation, lovely hosts

Both the house and the garden are beautiful, very clean and well accommodated with direct and private access to the sea and, last but not least, Anna and Panos are lovely hosts , very discreet but always there to help : big thanks from our whole family for this wonderful week !

wir haben 14 Tage hier verbracht und haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Die Freundlichkeit von Anna - der Gastgeberin, die Gemütlichkeit und Sauberkeit des Hauses, der herrliche Garten und der direkte Zugang zum Meer - Herz was willst du mehr. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, es gibt gute Lokale in der Umgebung. In Summe der perfekte Platz zum Ausspannen.

Wonderful, peaceful location!

My family had a great time at Villa Ilida! We loved the peace and quiet. The house is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The main area is perfect for hanging out, reading and relaxing. My husband and children would gather in this area after a long day of touring and swimming. The rocky beach at the end of the property is great in the morning/ early afternoon as the water is calm and refreshing. We spent many days here swimming. We did bring our own beach towels but bought the very thin shammy kind so they didn't take up too much space in our luggage. Water shoes are also recommended. The main area does not have AC but it's not really needed as the ceilings are high and the house stays cool with the ocean breeze. The bedrooms are equipped with AC. Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was perfect for us. There are a few small grocery stores in the area we visited to pick up items. The restaurants we visited were wonderful as well. We also toured the Mercouri Winery next door. We had a simple wine tasting and self-toured the property. Very charming and we even bought a few bottles of wine as we were visiting family in the area and didn't want to arrive empty handed! Anna lives next door and is such a sweet lady. She's full of helpful advice. She had fresh fruit and drinks available when we arrived. Very welcoming! We would definitely return and highly recommend this location.

A great and idyllic place on the sea!

We, family of 4, stayed for one week in August. Simply a very nice place, of the beaten track, next to a winery. Anna, the owner, makes you really feel taken care of (she has plenty of tips for sight-seeing, great tips for restaurants - and on the top of it access to Saskia, a great tour-guide), the house is wonderful (we even got a midweek cleaning!) and the private beach at the end of the garden is really picture perfect. We enjoyed the sunset from the garden and spent hours reading in the great garden while the children were playing. It could not have been better. We had a great time and we will definitely come back.

Idyllic!!

We recently spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at the Villa Ilida. Anna is fantastic and the villa is excellent. Very well located in a secluded spot, yet easy to get to, the villa is ideal if you are looking to get away from it all. The surrounding region is beautiful with little villages scattered around, the Domaine Mercouri wine estate next door and of course, the sea! The villa feels like a home away from home and Anna is a wonderfully kind and helpful host. We'll be back!

proximity to the sea : the villa is linked to a bay with a footpath that is almost 1 minute walk away and which is fully accessible and children can easily use it. There is no road between the house and the footpath to the sea . The bay has a sealadder and a deck with umbrellas and sunbeds and both children and adults can swim here.
