Una hermosa casa con vista a Doolin y las islas Aran con el castillo de Doonagore cerca, le da la bienvenida a la "Wild Atlantic Way"

Ubicado en un callejón sin salida de cinco casas, el tráfico es mínimo y los únicos sonidos que se escuchan son el suave mugido de las vacas en los campos adyacentes y el estallido de las olas del Atlántico en la orilla.

Las vistas desde la casa son espectaculares, mar y cielo, con increíbles puestas de sol sobre las islas Aran y la bahía de Galway.

La casa es una elegante conversión de cabaña diseñada por el propietario, un conocido diseñador de interiores, cuya familia ha establecido raíces en Co. Clare.

El tema del interior está en consonancia con el paisaje, reflejando los colores del entorno rural exterior. Suaves paredes blancas con pisos de roble en toda la casa crean una atmósfera de vida contemporánea relajada.

Más de 2800 pies cuadrados de tamaño, en tres cuartos de un acre de jardines bien cuidados, la casa atiende ampliamente a siete personas, tanto en espacio como en lujo.

Se compone de cuatro grandes habitaciones dobles, dos de las cuales están en la planta baja con vistas al mar. Ambas tienen baño privado, bellamente decoradas con azulejos de piedra y paredes espejadas para reflejar la luz. Uno de los baños es un "cuarto húmedo" adecuado para personas mayores o con movilidad reducida.

El baño principal, también ubicado en la planta baja, está equipado con bañera y ducha, y está terminado al más alto nivel.
Como con todos los baños, tiene calefacción por suelo radiante.

La cocina, el comedor y el área de asientos se unen perfectamente para formar un espacio central y están bellamente decorados con sofás grandes y cómodos, iluminación suave, alfombras y pinturas. Un fuego de leña en la sala principal actúa como un punto focal y aumenta la sensación de calidez y comodidad.

Grandes y pintorescas ventanas que bordean la parte trasera de la casa, traen luz y sol a la sala de estar de planta abierta y reflejan las hermosas vistas a su alrededor.

Sea Mist ha aparecido en dos prestigiosas revistas de diseño de interiores, House Beautiful en mayo de 2015 y Home Interiors and Living en octubre de 2015

Blissful, relaxing, pure perfection

We came to Doolin for a wedding and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, stocked perfectly with a great amount of space. We felt like we were in a movie. The host communicated in a timely fashion, leaving nothing unanswered. Doolin (and surrounding towns) are quaint with a great selection of things to do and eat. Thank you for a perfect trip. We WILL be back.

Beautiful house, wonderful location

My wife and I spent a week at Sea Mist cottage in Doolin. The house is very comfortable and the Doolin area is quite amazing in terms of restaurants, pubs and spectacular scenery. The pictures of the house and views really can’t do justice to how beautiful it is. I would highly recommend this property.

5 stars all around

This was our second time booking this property, and the first time staying during the summer. Last time we enjoyed a week here during the winter and both times have been spectacular. Definitely more to do in the summer though. We loved the close access to the Doolin ferry and all the shops and restaurants. This is a great location for driving to visit the rest of Clare on easy day trips as well. Our group had 5 adults and the house was spacious and comfortable.

Gorgeous sea view stay

We loved everything about the Sea Mist cottage. The location was unbeatable (4-5 minutes from downtown Doolin), unbelievable views (over looking the great Atlantic) and the layout of the house was superb. The main living space was separated from the bedrooms which was awesome for a large group (minimize noise for people sleeping). The bedrooms were incredibly comfy and bathrooms spacious. The entire property was newly renovated and appointed with very nice materials/fixtures. Highly recommend.

Trip of a lifetime

Absolutely picture perfect. Literally! The home was well maintained and well stocked with the necessities. The view and location was exactly what we were looking for and towards in our Irish vacation. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to Ireland exploring the sights and people of this lovely country.

Beautiful Sea Views for sure!

House, gardens, most furnishings are lovely. Perhaps starting to need a bit of TLC ie kitchen organization, some wonky light fixtures etc. Stunning views as promised, laneway in to house is quite rough. Doolin itself is charming, spread out over quite an area and a steep walk down and back to the house. Some great restaurants - our favourite was Glas.

Extraordinary!

The home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views of the North Atlantic. We were also delighted to discover that we had a castle as a neighbor! We enjoyed the tranquil setting and were provided with everything we needed. Both the host and the manager were very responsive and gracious. We enjoyed the traditional music in Doolin and the numerous restaurants/pubs and all right next to the cliffs of Moher!

Ocean views, convenient, spacious

Generously appointed, spacious and modern. I wouldn't hesitate to book Seamist for a longer time than the few nights we stayed. It was so difficult to move on - sunsets over the ocean, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings for long conversations, and a picturesque castle tower nearby. Nearby are so many engaging activities - the Cliffs, Aran Islands, hiking, biking, swimming, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna. Fantastic beds, lovely bedding and linens. On a quiet road, good access to walking paths. It's the country, so shop for groceries before arrival. Highest recommendation. Easy check in, great communications.

Family Vacation

The Seamist home made our first trip to Ireland a completely gorgeous experience! From the house we enjoyed the views of the ocean and the lush green scape. Upon entering the house we were in awe of the large size and the beautiful decor. We had more than enough space for our family of 5 adults. The house had all the comforts and supplies we needed so we were truly able to relax. And the Doolin area was everything we hoped for! We were able to travel to the Aran islands and Cliffs of Moher with ease. O’Connors pub was our favorite nearby restaurant and nightly hangout. We hope to visit this home again in the near future!

Beautiful views / house

Great views , great house, Doolin a short taxi ride , not so easy walk, especially back to house. One issue, I thought all bedrooms had a private full bath, that's not the case. 2 downstairs bedrooms have full baths, but the 2 bedrooms upstairs share a 1/2 bathroom...the full bathroom for them to use is actually on 1st floor at end of hallway. That being said, would highly recommend.

We bought the old cottage in 2005 and proceeded to convert it into what it is today. The reason why we did this was because my father in law came for County Clare and my wife spent all her holidays in this very special and spiritual area.

The property was an old derelict cottage located on a quiet cul-de-sac with spectacular views all round.

Named Sea Mist, it is situated on the southern side of the famous Cliffs of Moher, and 2 km from the village of Doolin known worldwide as the cradle of traditional Irish music.

The Burren, one of the largest exposed limestone areas in Europe, is within easy reach of the house and is a haven for walkers and anyone interested in nature.

We fell in love with the cottage and it's beautiful location, as soon as we came across it.

We continue to enjoy it with our friends and family, as indeed, we know you will.
