Villa Kronberg - Oasis relajante de silencio y vistas impresionantes

Nuestra propiedad es uno de los lugares más relajantes que puede desear. Un oasis de silencio, lleno de flores y terrazas frente a cada uno en un panorama diferente. En los lados del corazón de la propiedad, la terraza principal de este hermoso escenario, donde los Faraglioni son los personajes principales, se levantan las dos Villas, Villa Kronberg, que da el nombre a nuestra propiedad, y Villa Julio, completamente independiente de el otro. Cada uno privado terraced.

La propiedad está situada a 15 minutos a pie del centro de Capri y 15 minutos de la playa de Marina Piccola. La zona es particularmente tranquila, porque está construido en la cima de una montaña. La vista es simplemente impresionante. Una hermosa terraza con plantas y la naturaleza alrededor es el hogar de este lugar. Si realmente quieres conocer Capri, aquí tendrás la oportunidad de enamorarte y, sobre todo, ver la verdadera cara de Faraglioni.

Most beautiful views

Wow, the views were even better than we expected - truly panoramic. The guest house was lovely. Just fine for our family of 4 (2 grown teens). The value was perfect and the views were amazing!

Unparallelled view

The description And pictures were very accurate. .... The view is unbelievable.... and The home was very clean inside and well-equipped . It could be an exceptional location with a little bit of work but then you wouldn’t get it for that price..,.. The only complaint I have is in reference to the weather ..... and that is outside The control of everyone. . Million dollar question is would I recommend it to others ... for sure .

Villa Kronberg was perfect property for small family. Private villa tucked away with stunning view. Beds were very comfortable. Problem with A/C, but host provided fans to use instead. Location is convenient to town of Capri and Marina. Would recommend if looking to get away from the crowds and willing to walk a bit.

Beautiful local but some extras would help

We loved the beautiful view on the terrace of this cute property but would have appreciated very much a fan or air conditioning unit for the small second bedroom alcove. Also, garbage bags should be provided. A small binder with info on the house, getting around in Capri, where to buy groceries, local sites and how to get there, recommended restaurants...this would be so helpful! Also the air conditioning unit in the main bedroom leaks a lot--you may need to check this, or leave a bucket under the unit so the next person's suitcase isn't soaked. We loved the Fortini Coastal Hike and recommend this highly to the tourist who wants to escape crowds and enjoy the natural beauty of Capri! Cheers, Carla & Mike

Can't miss view

The view from the terrace of this property is unbeatable. It's worth the stay just for that. It's pretty secluded and located down a very private walk. The house itself is fine, nothing flashy, but has everything you would need to enjoy your time in Capri. Three of us were comfortable, but more than that may feel a bit tight. A word of caution that the walk from the house to the center of town (or on the way back from Marina Piccola) is extremely uphill, so be prepared to hoof it or pay for cabs. Easy and helpful communication with host Guendalina and her team as well!

Great location and view

I've stayed in many properties all over the world in my life. This property has one of the top 3 views that I have experienced. It is about a 200m walk from the main road. It is very private. Please note though that there is a sister property below this and their guests walk through the terrace to reach their property. We had a little problem with the guests standing at the gate for over an hour because the view was better from the gate than perhaps their property. The inside of the villa was very clean. We would stay again.

A comfortable home with an amazing view and patio

We rented this property because of its view of the ocean and its proximity from Capri and were not disappointed. What we found to be great : - The service by the owner was terrific, responding to our enquiries and having someone meet up with us at the villa - The outdoor patio is spacious and has an amazing view, with the small patio off the master bedroom also having a great view - We enjoyed that the property is nestled right under the face of the mountain giving you a mountain villa feel. - It is a 15 minute walk to the top of the hill where cafe and grocery store reside and an extra 5 minutes walking into the heart of Capri - It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants (a walk via the road, or you can walk and then take 300 steps down... not difficult to do.. just take your time). - the beds and pillows are very comfortable and top quality (often rare to find in rental by owner properties at this price point) What is good: - The villa is basic, clean and simple - Bathroom is small but manageable for one - The kitchen, living / dining area are comfortable and well provisioned What you might want to know: - The seagulls do nest in the rocks near by and you can hear them in the early morning. We are light sleepers but managed just fine with ear plugs and then we got use to it. - There is a 3-5 minute walk from the roadside entrance to the villa (downhill to enter, and uphill to leave). If you don't like hills then perhaps this location is not the best for you. - Busses come by every 15-20 minutes during regular hours, and taxis are easily available - $25 Euro Taxi ride approximately from Harbour to Villa, and $17 Euros from town of Capri to Villa. Bus fare is $2 Euro if purchased at ticket booth. - if you are travelling as two couples, then the 2nd bedroom has no doors and is located in an alcove between the living room and bathroom. - Capri is about the outdoors, so enjoy the patio and the towns and the hiking trails. We would come back to this villa and recommend it for others.

Great and beautiful villa

BEST VIEW OUT BALCONY! We loved the villa. The view on the balcony is just or better than as pictured and with a bottle of wine, what else could you ask for?! It was pretty walkable (your legs will be feeling it but it makes you forgive yourself for the wine and pasta intake) and buses are easy to use and drop off in front of gate if need be. 10 min up to city center or 10 min down to marina piccola. Easy communication for check in. Slept 4 comfortably. Extra 15€ a day for WiFi and AC, totally worth it for us. Others in group said they had the best sleep on these beds too

Incredible Views

The location of this mini-villa provides a great view of the Marina Piccola and the Faraglioni. Beneath a towering cliff but still 80 meters above the water, surrounded by circling gulls, we spent all our evenings sipping rose’ and dining at three separate dining/relaxing tables. The “villa” appears quite private at the end of a long private access route but is actually underlain by another “villa” on a separate level just below us. Access to that level was surprisingly through what we thought was part of our patio. Perhaps an issue to some sun bathers. Inside, all is quite cosy, especially the kitchen and bath. Barely room for one in each. Hopefully they have fixed one of the two electric plugs in the kitchen so you can keep the microwave off the draining rack. A few key items were missing from the kitchen (they did provide a corkscrew the next day-too late for our rose’). We have passed that to owner and would assume they’ve been dealt with. But I wouldn’t plan on any fancy cooking. After all, good restaurants are within 15 minutes walk either up the hill to Capri Town or down to Piccolo. In the end, the views from the deck offset the villa’s shortcomings and we enjoyed our stay.

Pessima manutenzione e gestione. Peccato!

La casa ha una posizione divina: il più bel panorama di Capri in assoluto! La terrazza è mozzafiato. Oasi di silenzio bellezza e pace. Ma la casa è gestita come un campeggio di bassissimo ordine! Mal tenuta, infissi rabberciati, tettoia cadente, mobili da giardino fatiscenti, un bagno che neanche nel peggiore bar, bagno talmente angusto che una persona di 180 cm non riuscirebbe ad entrarvi, muri scrostati dalla umidità, sporcizia... Inoltre la casa è accessibile solo tramite un lunghissimo vialetto pedonale scosceso lungo il quale trascinarsi i bagagli. L'accoglienza è affidata a due persone scortesi frettolose e per nulla disponibili ad aiutare con i bagagli e a dare consigli. La signora Rosina te la vedi comparire all'improvviso sul terrazzino di casa per andare a fare le lavatrico nella baracca adiacente, senza neanche salutare né chiedere il permesso! Vergognoso per il prezzo pagato!!! La casa gestita meglio potrebbe essere un vero gioiello ma l'hanno ridotta ad un alloggio di infimo ordine.

Capri's Secret Gem

The first time you look from the patio of Villa Kronberg to the faraglioni, everything else melts away. Staying a night on the isle of Capri has been a dream of ours ever since we first stepped on the island 19 years ago. This visit we stayed 3 nights...still not enough time to take in all Capri has to offer. We feel lucky that Guendalina was gracious enough to find us those days just before the busy season, and making sure we had great weather. Having stayed in properties around the world, in destinations like Wales, Scotland, Florence and Paris, this property will land on the top of our list of "must return to" accommodations. Everything we needed for the two of us, we did not feel cramped, but not recommend this property for more than 4 people. Very private, yet not a major task to walk up to the city of Capri, or walk down to Marina Piccola, both just 10 minutes away. We can confirm some of the recommendations from other past guests...we had some great meals during our stay, and never needed to take a taxi...just bus or hotel shuttle. When you stay at the villa, make sure you take advantage of the view from the bathroom/shower...opening the shutters is like taking a shower outside! My only wish is that Guendalina and her family make available the rich history of her family that led to the construction of Villa July/Villa Kronberg. Still dreaming of the blue water.

Best view on the island!

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at Villa Kronberg. The patio has undoubtedly the best view on the island and it's very private. It is an uphill 10 minute walk to the main square but the views are great and it is one road so hard to get lost :) The interior of the villa is quite dated but the beds were comfortable and we really didn't spend much time in the apartment anyways. Everyone was SO helpful in our arrival but be sure to confirm your time of arrival because we missed a ferry and had to get help from neighbors as we missed our checkin time due to a missed ferry from Naples. I would highly recommend the Villa Kronberg and the island of Capri in general. Lovely, relaxing stay!

SÉJOUR PARFAIT

Villa Kronberg profite d'une position unique entre ciel et mer. Nous y avons passé un séjour inoubliable en famille, chaque moment était magique: le petit déjeuner face au lever du soleil, la promenade pour aller à la mer, entre citronniers, fleurs d'oranger et plein d'autre senteurs méditerranéens, le clair de lune sur la mer avant de se coucher. Les intérieurs sont lumineux, propres et bien équipés. Des grandes baies vitrées offrent des points de vue privilégiés sur i Faraglioni et la baie de Marina Piccola. On s'y sent gâtés, suspendus entre ciel et mer, profitant d'un coin tranquille dans une des îles les plus prisées de la méditerranée. Nous en gardons un souvenir très agréable et l'envie d'y retourner. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Guendalina, mais son accueil a été chaleureux même à distance! A bientot

Magical Punta Mulo

We joyfully returned for our second stay at Villa Kronberg. Guendalina takes great pride and care in the upkeep of the property for the comfort of her guests. The rhythm of the days is pure gift. The vistas, breathtaking. The location and proximity to Marina Piccola & to town is ideal. Walking is divine or the bus stop is only a short distance from the front gate. The market is a 10 minute walk and the pull cart is fantastic to transport groceries. Some of our favorite restaurants in Capri town are Panorama, Buca di Bacco, Pulalli Wine Bar (above the piazza) & Le Grottelle. In Marina Grande: Bagni Tiberio & L'Approdo and in Marina Piccola: La Piazzetta & Torre Saracena. For take away meals the Buonocore Bakery (gelato! tell Mario we sent you) & Capri Pasta are wonderful. Please visit our friends Antonio & Alvina at da Constanza shoe store which is just across from Ristorante da Giorgio on your way to the piazza. Hand crafted, beautiful sandals - made to order...a very special souvenir or gift. There are many activities and day trips to enjoy both on and off the island but we prefer to remain quiet, cook at the Villa & visit with friends. It is very difficult to leave the treasure of this property and the grace we find there. The thought that soothes is that we desire to return every other year and as I mentioned to Guendalina, I don't want to stay anywhere else on the island. Villa Kronberg now feels like home and we are grateful.

Most picturesque point on the Island of Capri!!

This is a quaint villa on a beautiful setting. For the two of us, it was a sufficient amount of room. I am not sure more than two people would be comfortable here. But the views...Amazing! Nice kitchen to prepare your own meals if you choose, or walk to many of the restaurants to dine out. Being on the Island, most of your walks will include a steady uphill or downhill either way, or you could hop on the bus for a couple euros as the bus stop is just minutes away. The seagulls will serenade you to sleep at night. Two patios to enjoy your meals Al Fresco or just sit and watch the sun come up over the Island. My only suggestion would be to have a cart to take luggage to the Villa. If you have any walking restrictions, you may want to inquire about getting your bags to the Villa and up the spiral staircase to the bedrooms. If I ever return to Capri, I will be getting in touch with Guendalina to stay here again. Very helpful and good communication. Always willing to answer questions. Exactly what you will see!!

Very well situated halfway down road to Marina Piccolo. Very nice and accommodating owner. The place is pretty comfortable and reminds one of the cottage in the Muskokas, Do yourself a favour and rent a Scooter! I did... The only way to go. EVERYWHERE

Could not have been more perfect

We stayed here as a family of four (consisting of two adult daughters) and absolutely loved our time. Our only disappointment was not being able to stay longer! The owner made checking in quite late very easy for us which we were thankful for after a late arrival on the Monday. The view from this villa has got to be one of the most stunning in all of Capri. Kronberg is also situated off the road and is very private which we absolutely loved. My father is obsessed with boats and spent his whole day sitting on either of the two terraces watching the world go by. The three girls in the family spent the same time tanning on the terrace and reading. Lunches were spent sitting at the table outside looking over the stunning view. Marina Piccola is very close and we usually walked down (using the stairs that cut straight down from the main road) every afternoon to go for a swim. Dinners were mostly spent up in Capri town which is a short 10 minute walk from the villa. Supermarkets are also close to the villa so we would get any lunch and breakfast food there. We rented a boat and did a tour of the island and my whole family agreed that Villa Kronberg was the best situated villa on the whole island. The villa itself is clean and whimsical in its design. It had everything we needed but you'll find you spend most of your time outside anyway! Cannot fault this place and hope to come back someday - especially after our parents raved that it was our best family holiday to date.

Villa Kronberg - DELIZIOSA!

Abbiamo scoperto Villa Kronberg navigando in internet alla ricerca di una bella villetta a Capri. Dalle foto sembrava molto carina ma mai avremmo pensato che dal vivo fosse ancora meglio. Ideale per due/quattro persone (noi siamo due coppie tra i 25 e i 28 anni). Gli spazi interni sono molto carini e da poco restrutturati con il tocco davvero personale dei proprietari! Le stanze sono molto ben illuminate da grandi finestre con vista sul mare. E se gli interni sono deliziosi gli esterni lo sono ancora di più. Ampi spazi ben allestiti con tavoli, divani e sdraio per godersi la colazione, il pranzo o la cena o semplicemente rilassarsi con una splendida vista sui faraglioni. La vista è davvero spettacolare sia di giorni che di notte al chiaro di luna trovandosi sulla montagna di marina piccoli a picco sul mare! La proprietaria, la Signora Guendalina, è adorabile, educata e disponibilissima! Offre anche l' appoggio di una Signora del posto altrettanto gentile e disponibile! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! Lo consiglio vivamente a giovani, coppie, famiglie con o senza bambini!!!

Truly... amazing

We have enjoyed our stay to a point where we did not want to leave the house for a sight seeing of the island. No words can explain the atmosphere when setting in the terrace, I have taken hundreds of photos, and used one of them as a background screen in my mobile phone and my laptop. I will, indeed, plan to Villa Kronberg again.

Beautiful vacations on Capri

We had a nice vacations on Capri at villa Kroneberg in July-August 2011. Marvelous quiet place surrunded by pine-trees and flowers with an exdellent view on Faraglioni rocks from a large terrace, practically all the day in the shadow Within the walking distance from the town-centre and shopping area. Nearby a bus-stop to the public beach and town, nice walking tours around the islads which makes your vacation -time very healthful. Nice see-cruises to Napoli, Amalphi, Sorrento. Very good vacations for families with children. Good food in the small restrants close to the sea-beach.We would like to return back again next summer.

Miserable Wohnung mit tollem Blick!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist spektakulär - aber vorsicht: die Wohnung selbst ist ungepflegt und hat den Charme einer Schrebergartenhütte. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden uns dreckige Handtücher überreicht, das Geschirr und Besteck war verkrustet und verklebt (es gibt keine Spülmaschine), auf den Betten lagen wackelige Matratzen unterschiedlicher Größe übereinander, die Gartenmöbel waren verdreckt, im Garten lagen Plastikflaschen und Zigarettenkippen, Dusche und WC waren defekt. Das Bad hat die Größe eines Gäste-WCs ohne Fenster. Die Böden des Balkons und der Terrasse waren weder gefegt noch gewischt. Überall klebte Harz aus den Pinien. Auf der zugegebenrmaßen toll gelegenen Terrasse laufen tagsüber Ratten herum. In allen Zimmern ragen unmotiviert Rohre aus der Wand (wahrscheinlich von abmontierten Heizungskörpern). Die Gesamtausstattung ist extrem spartanisch (z.B. keine Weingläser, keine Tischdecke, keine Klimaanlage etc.) Wir machen oft in Italien Urlaub und hatten so etwas bisher noch nicht gesehen. Angesichts des üppigen Preises ist die Wohnung eine Zumutung! Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist...

Great family vacation

We are a family with two daughters ages 4 and 7 yrs old. We chose this villa for the great views of the Faraglioni. When we arrived we were greeted at the villa gates and shown to our villa and helped with luggage. The villa is secured by gates with a beautiful fenced walkway with views and orange trees - very popular with our children. The villa was roomy with a well stocked kitchen and abundant private outdoor space. The location is private but very convenient to the grocery store and town - a must for a family. It was also very accessible to buses to the marinas and other parts of the island.
