Acogedora villa en Mauricio con piscina y jardín.

Calodyne villa es una acogedora casa construida en una tranquila zona residencial. Tiene un hermoso jardín tropical plantado de mangos y cocoteros y su propia piscina privada. La villa cuenta con 3 habitaciones con cama doble en el primer piso y las 2 más grandes tienen acceso a un balcón desde el que se puede disfrutar de una vista panorámica del Océano Índico y las islas frente a la tierra firme. Las 3 habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado. En la planta baja hay una sala de estar de buen tamaño con TV, DVD y un comedor con una mesa redonda para 8 personas. La cocina está totalmente equipada y al lado se encuentra el estudio que tiene una cama extra y donde los huéspedes pueden acceder a banda ancha de 10MBS de forma gratuita. Hay 2 WC, s, 1 arriba y 1 abajo y un baño. Una criada está a su servicio todos los días durante una hora, excepto los domingos. El centro de Grand Bay está a 15 minutos en coche y el primer supermercado a 2 minutos en coche. La parada de autobús está a 5 minutos a pie y el lugar de culto más cercano es la iglesia católica Cap Malheureux

Still heavenly!

We couldn't resist coming back. The villa is perfect, and spent many happy hours on the terrace and swimming in the pool. Philippe is a great host. Highly recommended!

Ideal place to stay — lovely garden & pool, shady terrace & aircon in the bedroom. Local supermarket, fruit shop & good places to eat. Philippe was a great host and really helpful about Mauritius. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place for a relaxing stay

Nice villa with a beautiful garden and pool.Its equipped with everthing needed. The owner is very caring,he even showed us around nice places in the surroundings at the first day,helped with organizing rental car and taxi and had plenty of inside information.Thanks to him and his sympathic maid we had an excellent stay. Highly recommended!

Great Stay & host

Great to have a home from home stay. Philippe is a great host. He took us to the supermarket on our first day & drove us to some local beaches. Always on hand if needed. We enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool was welcome in the heat.

Private,well equipped villa

Everything you need for a self catering holiday is provided. Philippe, the owner, goes over and above what is necessary to make sure that you enjoy the time in his villa. He lives next door and cleans the pool every morning and waters the garden every evening so is always at hand if needed. Very, clean and comfortable. Well recommended.

Perfect for Us

Philllipe is a kind and attentive host. He went over and above to make sure we had a good holiday. The villa suited our needs and we enjoyed exploring the north of the island. It was essential to have a car, although we enjoyed walking a short way down to the shore to see the fishermen bring their boats in. We were in Mauritius at the hottest time of the year which made the pool a very welcome asset. Everything at the villa worked well, excellent WiFi , good aircon.

Amazing, so pleased we chose Cosy villa. The villa was extremely comfortable, spacious and very well kitted out, with a lovely pool that was cleaned and maintained daily. Phillipe was the perfect host, so helpful and attentive . Nothing was too much trouble and we were well looked after, especially during the cyclone. Phillipe went above and beyond what we would expect of our host. We were a bit concerned that Callodyne would be too quiet but it was a lovely village with excellent facilities that met all our needs - great food outlets including a new Deli, dive shop, supermarket. Car is needed for short drive to p Pereybere where there is a good public beach. We would say this is the best villa experience we have had and highly recommend to others.

Wonderful, relaxing place!

We really loved staying at this tranquil villa! The place has everything you need and the owner, Philippe, is a very friendly and helpful host. The bedrooms are a good size with both ceiling fans and air con (we didn't need the air con as our visit was in the Mauritian winter). The kitchen has everything you need in it, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc. There is a lovely garden with a great little pool. As others have said, the location is a little out of the way so a hire car is recommended. There are two very good restaurants within walking distance: a pizza place and Linda's Place which has excellent Mauritian food. There is also a lovely little beach within walking distance. By car, you can get to Grand Baie, the wonderful Mon Choisy and Troy Aux biches, all within a few minutes drive. Philippe can also put you in touch with a good car hire place with very reasonable prices. We've just arrived home but are missing this place already. Special thanks to Philippe and of course, Mary the maid :-)

Wonderful poolvilla

We were 2 adults and 1 child (5 years old) that spent 4 weeks in January in this lovely house. The house is well equipped and has 3 large bedrooms with air conditioning with comfortable double beds. The grounds were lovely with a large garden surrounded by hedges and garden walls which made it completely private. The patio was spacious and beautiful with tables, chairs and sun loungers. The pool was big, warm and absolutely beautiful with a nice shadow in the afternoon. Philippe was an outstanding host and had good advice on what to know about this beautiful island. Philippe advised us about a car rental company we were very pleased with and private parking was just outside the door. During these 4 weeks we explored the whole island by car and quickly found that we had chosen to live in the right place on the island with the finest beaches close by. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday on Mauritius, much thanks to this fine house and lovely pool. On the next trip to Mauritius, this property will be our absolute first choice. Excellent!!!

We had an excellent 2 week stay in this beautiful villa! A perfect house for the 4 og us. Plenty of space and nice rooms. The children (9 and 11) loved the pool. Fantastic garden with fresh fruits on the trees. The house, pool and garden was kept nice, tidy and clean at all times. A quiet neighbourhood. A 10 minute walk to the local grocery store and only a short drive to most all attractions (shopping, beaches, activities and more) on the north side of the island. We would recommend renting a car when staying here. Makes getting around a lot easier but it is possible to make due without. Thanks to Phillippe, the owner and excellent host, who was very helpful in every way possible! From simple questions to car rental reccomendations. Also thanks to Maria, the maid, for a luxury we are not accustomed to! Everything with the villa and our stay here was accurately described by the owner beforehand. Reviews given by previous guests were also very good descriptions of the villa. We would absolutely recommend others to rent villa! Perfect for a family of four!

Wonderfully relaxing stay

Philippe is such a great host. Upon arriving he drove us around the area showing us stores, bakeries, beaches, etc. We even stopped by a bakery for some treats. At the villa he took time to show us everything and was always available for questions and help. The villa is very spacious and comfortable. This visit it was only the two of us but we could have been very comfortable with 4 more people. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The bedrooms were large and had lots of storage. We also appreciated and enjoyed that the balcony off the upstairs bedrooms. We loved the area and being only a couple of blocks from the beach. We spent a couple of days literally doing nothing but relaxing at the villa beside the pool. There is something special to having the entire property to ourselves! We enjoyed the tasty mangoes from the trees in the back as well as making tea out of the lemongrass planted just outside the kitchen. Philippe hires a cleaning person to come daily, even to do the dishes, which is a real treat! One day Philippe came but to tell us we had a flat tire and loaned us the tools to change it (since our rental was missing the tools) and offered to help. We have stayed in dozens of places all over the world and would say that Philippe is at the very top of the list in the best of hosts out there. Thank you, Philippe! We hope to be able to return one day.

Séjour parfait !

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans la villa. Tout est confortable et bien équipé. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine très agréable pour se rafraîchir. Philippe est tres disponible et plein de bons conseils pour explorer les environs. Des plages sublimes à découvrir à proximités.

Emplacement idéal pour cette maison. Le propriétaire, Mr Lesage, est très prévenant, et de bon conseil. Il s'assure que ses hôtes soient installés le mieux possible. Un agréable séjour au soleil

Merci Philippe & Magalie pour votre accueil. L'habitation correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes (surface ; équipements ; terrain/piscine entretenu). Traumhaus im Norden

Sehr geräumiges Haus mit eigenem Pool, Vermieter hilft schnell und kompetent, äußerst hilfsbereit,wohnt nebenan. Einkaufen 10 Min zu Fuß. Auto erforderlich, um die Strände und die gesamte Insel zu erkunden. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

I worked in the largest bank on the island ,The Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd for 40 years and ended my career as Treasury manager .I retired in 2010 and i now manage and look after my holiday villa which is adjacent to the home where i live.I am a fitness fanatic and i have been playing badminton competively for 50 years now .I had the opportunity to represent Mauritius in International competitions locally and abroad.I know my country very well and looking forward to make my guests discover the best of what Mauritius has to offer
