Very clean. Nicely situated. Well equiped. No TV but not vital : I believe people travel to London to see its historical beauties. But could be good to follow the news. On the whole very positive impression and a will to return

Endredones sucios . Mucho ruido de la cocina del restaurante de abajo del piso . El internet no funciona bien . Es muy incómodo para hacer el cheking tener que ir ah buscar la llave en otro lugar que no es el piso . No te revive nadie . No volvería

Great location, very comfortable and perfectly equipped

We've stayed for almost ten days and, in quality/price, it's definitly been the best option we've found for our stay. The apartment is in one of the nicest and most quiet areas in London, close to buses and 2 underground stations. Besides, the place and the 'kitchen' are very well equipped and have the necesary stuff for your stay (even different options of shower gels, shampoos, hairspray or cleaning products..) The only "cons": the restaurant downstairs and it's staff are soo sooo noisy and rude. Don't even try to ask them not to Talk loud or shout under your window cause they don't mind. But don't worry too much about that: It closes before 12am :)

We did not stay there because it was filthy and it was not the apartment we rent on the photos, we were lured by the renter and the person at VRBO make us wait more than 1 hour just to tell us that VRBO will not give us a refund or relocation I certainly never use your service anymore

Excellent location, base for busy days of exploring

This tiny flat is perfectly located for a person spending a lot of time out exploring the many sights of London. Safe, relatively quiet and super-convenient to two Underground stations.

All in all the place suited my needs it could have some minor upgrade and be so much better . A fresh paint job, new headboard and also a fan to allow air circulation

Check in was difficult- amazing neighborhood

We were sent the wrong location and code for the lock box - we couldn’t get the VBRO app to load to message owner- ( connection issue with our phone) so ended up spending first night of our stay in a hotel- owner didn’t even apologize for incorrect information being sent- blamed VRBO- it wasn’t like I asked for money back or anything- as it wasn’t his fault my phone was not connecting to message him. So I never asked nor expected that - but to not even say sorry Vrbo sent the wrong info would have been appreciated. Owners need to take accountability to ensure the correct information is sent to a renter. Flat was as expected- no frills, but wasn’t very clean- which wasn’t expected. All around not a great experience.

Terrible condition, dirty, mis-representation.

This flat was very disappointing. The best term is a dump, actually. TV barely worked with only 2 shopping channels. The place had filthy walls, a Murphy bed! to sleep on ( not the “standard double bed” as represented), a “kitchenette” which was just a stove and mini refrigerator, the freezer was filled with old ice so there was no room to put food in, there was not a single kitchen towel or even napkins or paper towels, miscellaneous silverware in dirty drawers, both the bathroom sink and shower had trouble draining (shower almost overflowed 3 times) so maybe that’s why a grossly, dirty mop is leaning on the wall in the bathroom, a sulphuric smell coming from one of the drains, baseboard trim falling off, unfinished patched holes in walls, thetiny freezer filled with frozen ice so no room for anything else, no lights on on arrival, this was a tiny 12’ x 12’ space unlike represented in the photos. And a Murphy bed with a soft non-supportive 6” mattress with bouncy springs, a stretchy bottom mattress cover and a comforter. And we didn’t need it but the promised washing machine didn’t even exist. Owner/manager wrote on the day just before we arrived that he was switching us to a different unit. Perhaps that is why we didn’t get what we expected, but I would expect a refund offer or adjustment at the very least. This was not the accommodations we chose at all.

Lovely flat, very nice area. The apartment itself is clean, cozy and nice, and has all you need for a stay. The host is very responsive. Area is great, very close to the center and Hyde Park. Will definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

Was very happy to stay in the flat, very close to the centre, convenient transportation. The flat is not huge, but has everything you need for a stay in London. The host is very responsive, the place is clean and tidy. And there is a nice pub at the same street :) Recommended!

Great location but small and grungy

I stayed at the apartment for 2 days. The location is great, 5 min walk from the next tube station. The main room is small, and functional. The bed is hard but worked for me. The bathroom is very run down and would benefit from an upgrade. Caulk is around the bathtub is moldy and cabinets are old and are not well put together. Gaps everywhere. The bathtub is ok, but very used and I would not want to have a bath in it. Its ok for showering. The walls to the neighbors are thin and one of neighbors talked for 3 hours on the phone on speaker - providing me some good entertainment (from 9pm to midnight). The finding of the key was not too challenging and I enjoyed it. Alan was very responsive, and professional. The kitchen is super small, but has everything one needs. In summary, this is a nice studio apartment with some kinks in a great location. I gave only 2 stars, because the bathroom is so run down and should be upgraded. One more thing, the door lock is pathetic and I was afraid leaving value items in the flat. The door and lock should be more secure.

Alon said that we could check in early, when we got to the place was it so nasty and smelled so bad, the bed looked like the previous customers had just left. I contacted Alon and told him what was going on and I informed him that we were going to stay at the Hilton cause we were very disappointed and exhausted to say the least. We had be traveling all night and could not stay there my husband was so disappointed he said no to staying for the rest of the trip. So why I’m sure it doesn’t really matter to Alon since he got paid up front it’s not fair . I’m going to let my friends know what happened as they are world traveler and love staying at homeaway that’s how I found you guys. Don’t think I’ll ever use ur services again, when your this far away from home u only hope and pray that everything goes well and you get that feeling that your at home, hence the name HOMEAWAY!!!! Disappointed Wendy

Great Location in Bayswater

We loved the location: It was an easy walk to Paddington Station Underground Lines, close to Kensington Gardens, lots of nearby shops and restaurants, not to mention the laundry across the street and down to the right a few doors (where you can have your folded wash returned the same day). It was really a bit to small for our two week stay and we found the bed to be too firm. We had to supply our own dish towel (which we left behind - so perhaps it's still there). there was no smoke detector, though you could see the marks where one had been. The noise from the Italian restaurant next door's kitchen was usually over by 10 and was never so much that we had to close the windows. Over all we had a satisfactory stay.

perfect location

weird key ritual.... you have to search for a fence in the shrubbery two streets further to find a secret lock box... apartment is small, completely latexed white (even the light swithes and doorhandles) and lazy maintained. But it is clean! Sleep is on a stretched sofa. no bed! no real mattress. It sleeps two but there is only one coffee mug.... and no dish towel. The shower gives a very ecological amount of water so you need some time to get clean. Walls are thin.

Bien situé mais très petit !

Le studio est situé tout près de Hyde park et de Kensington gardens, ce qui est vraiment parfait. À 3 minutes du métro Lancaster gate , ça nous permet de nous rendre partout sans problème. Le studio est très propre mais vraiment minuscule et bruyant à cause du restaurant italien en bas. L'équipement est très restreint (lumière, prise électrique, literie minimaliste...). Petits restos agréables autour: le Craven café pour les petits déjeuners et le resto italien Taormina pour le souper. En général, nous avons apprécié notre séjour !

Good location but noisy

The flat is a little more worn than the pictures, also we did not find it particularly clean. The restaurant below is very noisy and the walls in the flat very thin so you hear everything. If noise doesn’t bother you the location is great and restaurants and pubs in the area are great. The other thing that would have made the stay better is a dish towel to dry dishes and a plug for the tub.

Perfect location, great value

It suited my needs very well as a single person. May be a bit on the noisy side for some as there is a restaurant in the building but it didn’t really bother me. Right on Hyde Park and adequately equipped for a person on the go. I would probably stay here again and overall was satisfied.

Lovely studio right by the underground station Paddington

We stayed in Alan's studio for two nights in April. The studio had all we needed: perfect location, well- equipped kitchen, nice bathroom with toiletries and a soft bed. Alan sent instructions how to find the place in advance via email. We are super satisfied about Alan's hospitality and the cleanliness of the studio.

The stay was nice, nice location, however bit noicy neigbors, and too easy to hear the noice. Nothing one cant handle but not perfect.
