Highfield Lodge es un anexo de planta baja de un dormitorio (con su propia puerta de entrada), adjunto a la casa de campo del propietario al borde de Tring Park en Wigginton. Hay asientos en el jardín delantero con vistas al parterre y la tierra de Woodland Trust. La puerta de entrada al Parque Tring está a 25 yardas de la casa y se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie desde la puerta, a través del Parque Tring, hasta la ciudad comercial de Tring.

La propiedad ha sido decorada con buen gusto para una estancia confortable.

El espacio de la cocina totalmente equipada contiene vitrocerámica y horno eléctrico, nevera / congelador, lavadora, tostadora, hervidor de agua, microondas y fregadero / escurridor. La sala de estar cuenta con sofá, mesa de comedor extensible, televisión con TDT con DVD, mesa de café, 2 sillas de mimbre y nevera para bebidas.

La propiedad está en una posición encantadora y muy tranquila en un área de excepcional belleza natural. Tring Park, en la puerta, tiene 200 acres de bosques y campos, y está situado en el camino de Ridgeway con agradables paseos a Ivinghoe Beacon and Village. El pub Greyhound se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie en Wigginton Village y sirve muy buena comida y vinos / cervezas.

La estación Tring (a 5 minutos en auto) tiene trenes frecuentes a Londres, y Euston tarda 35 minutos. Champneys Health Resort está a una milla de distancia.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay. Bread, butter, tea, coffee, milk and jam were in the kitchen when we arrived, what a wonderful way to start our visit. Quiet and peaceful and steps away from Tring park. Great amenities with wi-fi and a washing machine. Wonderful hosts.

Very quiet place at the edge of Tring Park, but near some very beautiful towns: Tring, Berkhamsted. Even Oxford is just on one hour away. Apartment ist cosy and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. Thanks to our host we had a starter package: Milk, tea, Coffee, bread. Good place to make day trips and walks.

Wedding Stay

Beautiful, quiet location and Sally and Tim were excellent hosts (and we had some help with the TV from a visiting brother!). We booked here because we were guests at a wedding in Tring and it gave us a base to visit relatives from. Lovely welcoming touches such as garden flowers in a vase, tea, coffee, bread etc. We loved it!

A wonderful stay!

Couldn't recommend it more! A cozy and quiet spot at the end of a private drive, with easy access to Tring Park and town. The space is well kept and there's a wonderful view of their gorgeous back garden from the bedroom window. Hosts Sally and Tim were welcoming and helpful. Tim even had some recommendations for fun local things to do - including the local Natural History Museum which was a hoot!

What a beautiful place to spend time! Sally’s place is in a gorgeous, quiet location. The property is cleverly designed and has everything to make a stay delightful (including helpful local tips) We were also grateful for restaurant suggestions that helped make Father’s Day memorable. The little touches that mean a lot - a tray of breakfast necessities provided, and a vase of welcoming tulips! Very comfortable, beautiful surroundings and we hope to visit again soon!

Tucked Away

This location is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is nestled next to a forest with hiking trails. It was peaceful and quiet and offered an oasis to the running around that we needed to do to help with a wedding in the area. Sally was a gracious hostess and was quick to return communication when we had questions. If we return to the area, we would look to rent this again!

A wonderful lodge, full of character, with everything you need for a self catering stay.

We stayed for two weeks awaiting the birth of our first grandchild. This lodge is surrounded by wonderful gardens and has everything you need for a short or long stay. It is ideally suitable for a couple young or old, who might just be looking for somewhere to spend some quality relaxation time, or maybe walkers and /or bird watchers. From the moment we arrived we set off through the trees to discover the woodland walks in Tring Park and the wonderful cornfields which surround the lodge. We had a car so spent many a day discovering the lakes and reservoirs that are nearby. There is a Tesco supermarket in Tring which supplied us with everything we needed to cook and enjoy evening meals at home, prepared in the very well equipped kitchen. The owners ,who live in the adjoining house, were a very nice couple, and although we were left on our own, we always felt that they were on hand to help out with any problems, had they arose. We live in Spain, but we are planning to return to this lodge as much as we can. We have adopted it as our UK hideaway.

Great setting, quiet and beautiful

We have enjoyed a long stay here and felt at home from the very beginning. Being on the edge of Tring Park, you have a footpath through the woods right by your front door. The hosts are delightfully attentive, and the property has all you need for a long stay, let alone a short break. Thoroughly recommend it.

Brilliant hosts, superb location

Tim and Sally, very friendly and welcoming. When first arrived Sally came along to make sure we settled in OK. Accomodation itself had everything you could want and more. Welcome pack of bread and butter and a few other things a lovely touch. The cottage itself was absolutely spotless. Had a lovely relaxed week wandering the many walks in the woods and seeing the wildlife and taking a slow walk into Tring. The only negative was that we had to leave. Very depressed the morning we left. If back in this part of the country we will definitely try to book there again. Thank you Tim and Sally we had a lovely time and hope your open garden day goes well.
