Great stay

Awesome place. Great price. Property manager was super helpful when serious rain caused some flooding. No issues on our end. Will be staying again.

Great affordable place to stay near disney

Excellent place to stay for the money. Owners are very responsive. House is in good shape but needs a few improvements. Two things are a new oven and new screen enclosure. Other than that the place was awesome and we would def stay again!!

Family birthday treat

Booking was very easy and straight forward, instructions for the villa including directions from the airport were spot on, the villa itself was perfect for our family group of 9, very close to parks and many local amenities, the gated community felt very secure and was very quiet, until we arrived that was!!I would recommend this for family groups, no complaints at all.

Very nice home in a small gated community! Well equipped, clean, comfortable, with updated furnishings. Exactly as described and shown! Great layout for couples or families. Owner was very pleasant and easy to work with! Would definitely rent this home again! Lori, Ottawa, Canada

OK place but older

Older home but as advertised. Patio doors don't really open and stove is so old that the temperature gauges are rubbed off. But it's still a nice place to stay.

Quite dirty!! I found a dried up hot dog bun and other food items in between the couch cushions!

We were shocked to find the wall and bathroom door with holes in them. A lot of the lights were burnt out. We went to plug in our laptop and had to move a nightstand, only to find dust, bugs, toys, and a Gardettos bag! The upstairs television did not work, and the pool had dead frogs in it. We had 5 people staying in the house and 4 of us got sick. We feel it might have been the pool. The curb appeal is ugly, and the front door is flimsy and had a hole in it that someone could easily break into. The screen door off of the pool had no lock!!! Very unsafe. Most of the sliding glass doors did not even open. A miserable experience! Will never rent from homeaway again!!!

Quiet, private villa in good community

This is a lovely big villa, and as there is only two of us, obviously was big enough for us. However, this villa could easily accommodate 2 families. We've stayed at Lindfields a number of times when visiting Orlando, but this was the first time at the gated community of Lindfields Reserve. Having the gates there just gives an extra sense of security. This community is right off the 192 which is great for restaurants for breakfast before you hit the parks, or when you want dinner out. It's also just a 2 minute walk to the bus stop on the 192, so there's no need to drive to the restaurants if you all want a drink. The villa was situated in a very quiet area, and offered great privacy as the pool is surrounded by the house and a wall. The pool is south facing so gets the sun all day which makes all the difference, especially when you come back in the afternoon and just want to relax by the pool. The villa was clean and comfortable and was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. All in all, this villa is very good value for money. Antony was a pleasure to deal with, answering all our questions and concerns and checking that our stay was ok. We will definitely return to this property. I can't comment on Gold Star as we didn't need them during our stay, but they are literally a couple of villas away from this property so close to hand.

It was okay

The property was okay. The best part was how close it was to the Disney parks and there was tons of stores and restaurants on the highway right outside the community. The house itself was small and the pool area was smaller(ER) than other my aunt has stayed in for the same price. Also a big concern is the listing shows a bunch of inclusions that are actually not included at the house: main one is the grill. There is no grill. 2. Shampoos and laundry soap. Also there was only 1 garbage bag left for us but we have to take the trash out twice in the week. Half a roll of paper towels and no cleaners. The grill was the main issue. And the property management company is not available on the weekends and they took at least 1 1/2 days to get back to us for the two calls we made. The house is set up kind of weird with one bedroom separate from the house. For the location to the Disney parks it's great. Other than that it's mediocre and there's plenty more bigger and nicer for the price.

Disappointing, dated, run down and dirty!

The photos of this property had to have been taken long ago because they aren't a reflection of it's current state. I was very disappointed upon arriving the grass hadn't been mowed in weeks and the appearance of the surrounding area was run down with couches and trash cans scattered about. Between the tall grass and car with a flat tire parked out front that never moved during our stay the house looked abandoned. I felt worried for my family's safety accompanying my children at all times. We did come down the week following Irma and I can understand the impact and devastation a hurricane can cause but it was evedient these items had been there for quite some time. I did reach out to the owner prior to ensure the property would be fully functional before heading down and they stated the only damage was a small tear in the screen and the pool was dirty but assured me it would be cleaned before our arrival. The pool was dirty with hair and debris floating in it and the bedding items were ripped, smelled dirty and still had make up from the previous renter on them gross! The furniture is in ill repair I was unable to let my children stay in one of the rooms as the furniture is extremely wobbly. Also there was no cover on the electrical outlet very dangerous for a room that's supposed to be for children. I did contact the caretaker as directed in the arrival litature and was able get the grass mowed and pool somewhat clean. I am not trying to be overly critical I just want to let folks know what they expect before shelling out big bucks on your next family vacation. I have stayed in many pleasent vacation rentals over the years, unfortunately this was worst experience for me and my family. Sorry for the negative comments but hunting down maintenance people to take care the things that should have been done prior to our arrival is not my idea of a relaxing vacation. I hope this helps the next family make a more informed decision.

Great place to relax after Disney

This home was a great place for our family to stay for our Disney trip. Having our own pool is very important to us and this pool was great. I think we spent 20+ hours in it! The ability to heat the jacuzzi was great since the evenings were cooler. Updating is needed in the bathrooms and pool area (broken tiles, dirty/stained grout and showers). May want to provide more than one roll of paper towels, two trash bags, and hand soap. The short walk to Dunkin and ice cream was great also!

Great location, house needs TLC

The house was perfect for our needs. The owners/managers were very responsive and helpful. The only reason for a lower score is because there were a few loose tiles on the pool deck, it was a little unsafe for our children. Also the front door lock was difficult to manage. The sliding glass doors need some lubricant. The whole house needs some TLC. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

Great location, great layout, but some improvements need to be made

There were 10 of us that stayed here from 1/22 - 1/29. I absolutely loved the layout of this house. My wife and I stayed in the 'pool' bedroom, while the rest of my party stayed in the main part of the house. I would rate the main part of the house 5 stars as that had been recently updated and was very cozy and has a nice layout with all the amenities. The 8 guests that stayed in this area really liked the place. We paid upfront for the pool and hot tub to be heated. It was unseasonably cold during our stay and we couldn't seem to get the hot tub working properly. We ended up contacting the property mgmt and ended up getting it working around day 3 of our stay, and it was absolutely 5 stars from that point forward. Now onto our 'pool' room....it is very small and only had a full size bed, which was very dated and very uncomfortable. The comforter was nasty and should be thrown out. We ended up going to Target and just bought new sheets and a blanket to use. It was so cold in this room that we had to sleep in extra layers of clothes for the first couple nights. We actually considered getting a hotel room. The thermostat was controlled from the main part of the house and we didn't have access to change it. I contacted the owners and they said they would turn the temperature up. So again by day 3 or so, everything was fine. I would recommend the owners replace the bed and linens in that room ASAP and that would make a big difference. Despite the negative things mentioned I would stay here again but I would stay in the main part of the house. We were under the impression that the pool room was a master bedroom. Also the front entry door needs to be replaced as it seemed unstable. I was never worried for security reasons as both the pool room and main house had separate entry points where the doors could be locked. Finally the house is in a good area with a short drive to Disney and pretty much any type of shopping you want to do.

It was a comfortable and spacious home. The pool was wonderful . Great location.

We loved the size of the home and having a pool. The tile around the pool needs some repair. The property manager was amazing and quick to respond to our questions. It’s a convenient location to Disney and nice quiet community. We we would definitely stay here again.

Great Owner/Fair Accommodations

The Good - Owners are very responsive, pet friendly, good location, fair price, internet was fast. The Bad - As others have said, the property is a bit run down. Uncomfortable and loud beds. We stayed in January, pool was heated to 80-85, but jacuzzi was the same temp. Definitely NOT worth paying extra for the pool heat, as we didn’t get in it due to it being too cold. Also, it isn’t heated at night, so forget any thoughts of a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a day at the parks in the winter. The tile around the pool is a definite hazard when wet. Front door is flimsy, but inner doors are sturdy. I never felt unsafe. The thermostat is fixed at a set temp range. We didn’t have any control and were a bit cold at night.

A little disappointed

Pool was never warm, (Have not received my refund for the pool I was promised) cracked tiles in pool area a trip hazard, beds 1 was broke in front bedroom, master bedroom bed was VERY noisy, front door was crumbling.

Clean, safe Orlando vacation home

Communication was easy. Phil and Helen were quick to respond and offer information. The house has plenty of room for several adults and was clean. Great place to stay!!

Great Stay

The house was great. Lots of space and the property manager is amazing. The home does need some extra TLC when cleaning and the front door doesn’t seem real secure. Other than that we will definitely stay here again.
