Elegante loft en dos niveles - Trastevere, Isla Tiberina

Bonito loft en el centro de Roma, en una tranquila calle del centro ocupado, a pocos pasos de la maravillosa Isola Tiberina.
Muy práctico para ir andando a todos los lugares de mayor atracción turística de la ciudad: 10 minutos del Coliseo y de los agujeros imperiales, frente al antiguo barrio judío. Piazza Navona y el Panteón están a 15 minutos a pie.
Elegante, amueblado con gusto y estilo utilizando muebles y antigüedades, por immergessi en el encanto de una auténtica casa romana.
60 metros cuadrados, un espacio de gran loft con chimenea, zona de loft donde hay un dormitorio con una cama doble, un armario y un cuarto de baño.
En la planta baja, una cocina pequeña pero totalmente equipada, un segundo baño con acceso desde el salón. El porche con vistas a un pequeño claustro verde que es una verdadera perla para este apartamento. Bien atendidos por las mujeres que residen en el edificio, es un espacio único que ofrece comodomante incluso mientras está sentado en el sofá.
Frente a la chimenea, hay un sofá cama doble que puede ser una buena solución para una familia o un par de amigos.

The location was great, and the interior had a lovely Roman feel—we had a really enjoyable stay. The apartment was not only clean and comfortable, but also beautifully decorated, making us feel truly immersed in the Roman atmosphere. The host was quick to respond whenever we had any questions. Trastevere is a wonderful area, and it was a place we could have enjoyed for many days. Thank you so much!

The property is perfectly situated, central location and walkable to everything, surrounded by lovely bars, restaurants and coffee bars. Property is just the right side of quaint, combines old with modern so you get the quaint with the comfort. The host Olivia was very communicative, explicit instructions on how to find the place and how to access, extremely helpful. Ignore VRBO on the local tax, we made the mistake of listening to VRBO and didnt leave cash as requested but charged it through VRBO. Turns out this is perfectly normal and local law for Rome (sorry for the incovenience Olivia) If we are lucky enough to come back to Rome we will be looking to see if this place is available again

Lovely apartment on the 3rd floor of the building. Hard wood floors, and cozy, as I would expect an Italian home to be. I feel the pictures are very accurate. First level has your living room/dining room open concept, with a small kitchen and the 1st bathroom with a deep tub. The kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove. The loft space has the double bed with a wardrobe, and then a door to the 2nd bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The couch downstairs has the ability to open into a double bed. Wifi was great with no issues our 2 week stay. Television in the living room. There was a blow dryer in the bathroom, dishwasher in the kitchen and clothes washing machine on the balcony. The home is one block from the Tiber river, very near Tiber island. Following the river helped our navigation greatly. Taxi stand one block, along the river to the North. One block behind the home has a wonderful cobblestone street of shops, leather good stores, convenience stores, places to eat, Gelato, etc. We slept most nights with just the windows open (mid to late October), but there is an air conditioner unit in the loft that was capable of cooling the entire space. I felt the home was very central to all the attractions we wanted to see and either walked or took a taxi to most. I would definitely recommend this home.

Charming Flat in Rome/Trastevere Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay at Olivia's flat in Rome. It was located near all the sights of the city, with an easy walk to many restaurants, bars and cafes, The flat is tucked away on a charming, quiet street and equipped with everything we needed for our visit. Olivia provided specific. easy-to-follow check-in instructions, and check-out was a breeze. If you'd like an authentic Rome experience in the the city close to all the amenities, look no further than this property. Thank you Olivia, for everything!

Wonderful stay in Trastevere

Such a charming stay in a very nice neighborhood in Rome with unique vintage design. The perfect abode for a trip or longer stay. My family and I did a lot of site seeing while in Rome and although you have to be prepared to walk a bit from this flat to get into the busier parts it provides a nice quiet atmosphere away from touristy spots and there is lots of good food nearby. I definitely recommend this property and would stay again!!

Ok place. Positive - great location, lots of room and amenities were adequate.. Negative - too warm! AC was either not working or was set too high. Take a mini fan! I would not call this elegantly decorated. Old furnishings, stairs squeaky/ loud. Ok property but would not stay there again

Perfect Location, Good Communication!

Stayed at the property for a 3 week stay in Rome. The location was perfect, right across the street from the very busy parts of Trastevere, so coming home from the crowds was calming. Located right in the city center in the historic district, a 10 minute walk across the bridge over the Tiber to most of the must-see tourist sites. Highly recommended strolling through Trastevere and popping into any and all churches you can find, some are very baroque style and jaw-dropping. Olivia was great with communication, and staying in the location I was in, as a female traveling alone, I felt very safe.

Cosy and well situated

Olivia is very responsive and collaborative and of great help. The apartment is well furnished and very cosy. It’s close to everything in the less dense neighborhood of Trastevere. Anything you need within 10 minutes of walk if any, grocery store, restaurants, taxi station, bus line, etc It’s about 15-30 min walk to major landmarks like Piazza Navona (15 min), Coliseum (30 min), Trevi fountain (25 min), Vatican (35 min).

Great Location - Helpful host

Olivia was very helpful and even assisted with our transpiration from the port to the home. The apartment was in an amazing location. We walked to all the major attractions. Bed was comfortable, we like it cooler when we sleep so it was a little warm for us. Overall we would stay again.

Extremely convenient home base

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it is an extremely convenient home base. The location is excellent; the apartment is easy walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, a terrific outdoor food market, and many historic sites. The best part of the location is it’s tucked away on a quiet street. It always felt calm and relaxing when we came home after a busy day. The communication with Olivia was easy and timely. The self check in was quite simple; we had an early arrival and she let us leave our luggage and return after the cleaning was completed. The kitchen was a little small for two people to cook together but we knew of a couple places that made fresh tortellini and ravioli which we prepared one night with olive oil and parmigiana from a nearby store and it was terrific. The garbage management was very simple and well organized. Watering the plants was a minor gesture for the pleasure they brought. We hope this well-appointed apartment is available when we return to Rome in the future.

Perfect location

Our trip at this property was perfect. Such a charming unit with authentic historical vibes. We were close to all the best attractions (Vatican city, coliseum, trevi fountain, Spanish steps…). Olivia was a most gracious host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, including arranging transport to her unit from the airport. You will not regret booking this unit. So many delicious restaurants within walking distance! Do not miss out. ❤️

Perfect location for a true Rome experience

Excellent location to experience a true Roman neighborhood. So many awesome restaurants within a few minutes walk. The accommodations were comfortable and unique. Additionally a Taxi stand is less than 5 minutes away and any location in Rome is less than 10-12 euros away. Olivia has a great place and will provide many recommendations for your stay. If we find ourselves traveling to Rome in the future this will be where we stay if it is available.

ideal base for trip to rome

pros - surrounded by great restaurants, convenient stores and taxi, tram and bus stops just around the corner, this apartment, situated on a quiet street just across from the isola tiberina was an ideal base for our family. (couple and 8-year old son) the small kitchen is well appointed if you're inclined to cook some of your meals, laundry machine on the back porch in convenient for an extended stay, and bathroom on each floor is was great, although the downstairs bath is set up only for baths and if you're over 6', you'll bonk your head in the upstairs shower. we were greeted by a lovely young woman that showed us around and the owner is very responsive. fyi - it's a three story walk-up, you're required to take out your own trash, asked to water the plants and the sleeper sofa is kinda lumpy.

Your Roman Hideaway

Ideal if you wish to spend 3 or more days in Rome. Trastevere is a good location and the apartment is ideallly situated, being right in the heart of the vibrant Trastevere area. Restaurants galore, close to public transport (tram/busses), taxi rank also close by (taxis are cheap in Rome) & there is a small shop very close for your everyday essentials. The apartment is essentially that seen in the photos and importantly, has air conditioning if you are visiting during the summer. One word of warning though, it is situated on the third floor and there are three flights of steps to negotiate, so if you have difficulty carting up luggage, this apartment may not be ideal for you. I think ideallly it is most suited to couples, with the bedroom (double bed) & a bathroom on the mezzanine floor, which overlooks the living area below. An extra guest (child maybe) could sleep on the fold-out couch in the living room, but otherwise, not a lot of privacy for more than two couples. A second bathroom is located off the main living area. Internet is available, but connection is a bit iffy. Could not connect the first day we arrived. We loved our short three night stay in Trastevere and the apartment was an excellent base to explore the area and beyond & to return to after your day out. Penty of places close by to relax & enjoy a pleasant evening drink or to enjoy outdoor dining, which is so pleasant in Rome during the warmer months. Would definitely consider staying here again when we next visit Rome.

Relaxing Rome base in Trastevere

On a quiet street in Trastevere with nice restaurants just a few steps away in Piazza della Gensole, this apartment was a perfect base for our Rome explorations. There is a taxi stand at the end of the street, but we mostly set out on foot, to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navone, the Pantheon, the Jewish Quarter, the Forum. It was always sweet to come back across the river on one of two bridges to our sweet flat. And at night we slept soundly on our quiet street. The apartment has a rustic ancient design with lots of wood and antiques, had every convenience we needed, and was spotlessly clean. It is the perfect size for a couple. We were greeted warmly by the lovely Breysis, even though our late train and a taxi strike made our arrival a little late. Olivia was available by phone to ask for advice about how to navigate a planned demonstration in Rome. We fell well cared for. We were pleased to find that the wifi works very well, as we had to fit in a little work. The bed has good reading lights and a fun collection of books, and the two bathrooms were very convenient, one with a big tub! I cooked a few breakfasts and late night dinners in the wonderful little red kitchen, with produce from the small shopkeeper right around the corner. The apartment felt like home, molto grazie!

Well located

This is a very well located apartment on the edge of Trastevere on a quiet street. The listing is acurate. The kitchen is quiet small with little counter space. The apartment could be improved by providing a couple of good reading lamps on the ground floor and by removing a piece of furniture that is dangerously in the way at the top of the stairs.

A fine Aerie in Trastevere!

We (a California couple in our 50's) spent a wonderful week in this apartment. We’d come back anytime! Upon arrival Olivia greeted us happily and oriented us to the place, and to the beautiful neighborhood. The location is perfect, hidden in a quiet corner yet near a couple bridges and taxi stand, and a short walk to all the commerce you might need. It’s very roomy for two, with all the appointments you could want, including the two bathrooms (great shower in the bed loft loo, nice tub downstairs.) The bed - a vital element, and a gamble when renting from afar! - was about queen size, comfy and relatively firm, just as we like it! Reading lights on both sides, a wardrobe cabinet, nice pillows, it was like being at home - in Rome! The pictures don’t really show that there's plenty of good natural light there, and the windows afford great ventilation, too. Laundry on the back porch was easy, (water the plants!) This particular little corner of Trastevere seemed quiet, peaceful and relaxed, compared to just a street away. And yet so close to Everything! We loved the kitchen, small but fully equipped. We didn’t cook as much as we had intended (too many great restaurants nearby!) but the kitchen was fully equipped (we did add a plastic cutting board to supplement the wood one, and we replenished the oil, vinegar and coffee, as had others before us.) We found everything we needed to make a mushroom risotto, omelets, salads, breakfasts, drinks, etc. And, naturally, great restaurants are there, too. In particular, we loved Hosteria Gensola, literally part of the same stone structure, steps away, with superb - really superb - seafood, and great service! Of course there are plenty of markets to buy fresh produce and baked goods. Very quickly we became familiar with the local shops and etc., and felt like we were living in a neighborhood, not just passing through (which of course we were...) And the tourism materials were very helpful along with Olivia’s great tips, also the nice collection of smart (including english language) books. We swapped a couple, and left some travel books too. Note the television (which has local channels) also has an HDMI port, so one can watch on-line or saved material via one’s computer, including photos or videos etc. - if you bring (or buy) an HDMI cable. Don’t rent this place - if it’s when we’re coming back to Roma - because this is where we want to stay when we return!

Nice place and great location

This apartment was pretty much perfect for my girlfriend and I. It's in a great location with everything in walkable distance. Also, if you want to experience the Trastevere nightlife then it could not be better placed. It was everything that we were looking for, highly recommend.

Great place and best location

I usually do not like to write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to write because everything was really good. The apartment is in an ideal place, close to the nightlife centre of Rome. A short walk to reach the restaurants, bars, food stalls, and to meeting interesting people. Restaurant recommended around is popi popi. From mid-June to late August there is a promenade along the river which is full of restaurants, entertainment, and fun. The hottest place in Rome. All the main tourist attractions of Rome are also within walking distance if you like to walk. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary accessories, kitchen functional and enables the preparation of any food that comes to mind, there is a washing machine, dishwasher and air conditioner, we got the apartment clean and tidy. The landlady is charming and cozy Olivia. Highly recommended, there is no doubt that we will get back to this place any visit to Rome. thank you Olivia for good recommendetion and pleasent host.
