THE PLACE
This villa is located in ’Porto Coda Cavallo’ a lively touristic village frequented mainly by families and situated into the Coda Cavallo peninsula, in front of Tavolara and Molara island. The Peninsula is inside the amazing Marine Protected Area of Tavolara.
The spot is 8 km north of San Teodoro, 15 km south of Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (20 minutes distance by car), 17 km south of Olbia Isola Bianca Port.
The villa was built in a strategic position in the narrower part of the peninsula. For this reason there is Salina Bamba Beach (facing South) and Cala Suaraccia Beach (facing North) both at hundreds metres distance. You can walk easily to and from the beaches through a private flat road (perfect for a baby stroller).
In case of wind it doesn’t matter from which direction it comes from, because you will always have a protected beach to go.
If you walk a few metres more you can reach one of the best beaches of Sardinia: Cala Brandinchi known as Tahiti for its breathless clear water and fantastic landscape.
Other four beaches (Salinedda, Lastra Ruia, Cala Paradiso, Cala Pipara) are all within walking distance from the villa.
All of the beaches are free for the guests. You can bring your own beach chairs and umbrella or, if you prefer, you can hire one directly by the beach.
The guests of the villa can use for free the private tennis courts, basket courts, 8 a side Soccer Field with real grass, 5 a side Soccer Field and all the other private attractions of the village.
In Piazzetta (central plaza of the village) there are shops, pharmacy, bar, restaurants, market and a spa massage beauty centre which are open in summer.
If you like watersports this is your place. You can go to the diving centres (Aquarius and Blu Infinito are both 200 metres from the villa). The Marine Protected Area of Tavolara has the best diving spots of the whole Mediterranean sea. If you prefer you can also hire boats, windsurf, sup, kayak, sailing boats, etc… and play golf in one of the clubs close to the villa.
THE VILLA
The villa is very cozy and comfortable. Your privacy will be granted during the whole length of your stay.
It’s a modern building with furniture made in Italy and decorations and a huge private garden with a very large covered veranda, a swimming pool, hydromassage and solarium.
It has two double bedrooms with private bathroom, one bedroom with one queen size bed and two single beds, two baby cribs, a living room with a double sofa and a double sofa bed, three bathrooms, two external showers, a fully equipped kitchen with a large extendable table, a large veranda with a table for 12 people, two differents lounge area with very comfortable sofa and a huge private garden.
You will have full use of the entire guesthouse. There are no other guests scheduled in the period when you plan to visit and we will not be present in the villa during the length of your stay.
GARDEN AND POOL
The private garden with a magnificent view is really large and beautiful. It has grass all over and different kinds of trees, plants and typical flowers. A comfortable hammock is protected by the shadow of a secular olive tree. The infinity pool has a shallow water zone for children and hydromassage stations from where you can admire the sunset while sipping a very good glass of Vermentino. A child safety pool fence (by request 50€) protects the pool making the garden suitable and safe for children of all ages. External showers and sunbeds can be used for sunbathing or relaxation. BBQ for a fantastic grill with friends and wood oven to cook real italian pizza. In the back of the garden there is a dry zone with no sprinklers where it is possible to hang out in the sun towels. Your privacy is granted even when you are in the garden. You can see outside, but nobody can see you. Every week the gardener cuts the grass and takes care of the flowers and plants and the pool is cleaned.
VERANDA
On the side of the Villa there is a huge shadow portico veranda that hosts a big table for 12 people and two different lounge areas with a very comfortable sofa and coffee table for 10 people. There is also a hammock and two swings for the kids. In case of wind there are rolling curtains all around the patio that can be easily closed to protect all the area.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The two double bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, wardrobe and hair dryer.
The third bedroom has a queen size bed and two single beds and uses the third bathroom of the villa.
Two baby cribs are also available. The air conditioning is independent. Each room can set its own temperature. An external shower is available in the garden.
A group of 8 would mean 2 guests in the first double bedroom, 2 guests in the second double bedroom, 3 guests in the three beds bedroom, 1 guest on the double sofa bed of the living room. (Plus two baby cribs).
KITCHEN
Fully equipped Veneta Cucine kitchen comes with a large extendable table, fridge, oven, microwave, dish washer, induction hob, coffee maker, teakettle and extra large fridge. Kitchen includes utensils, glassware, pots, pans and everything else you would need to comfortably cook gourmet meals throughout your stay.
LIVING ROOM
Living room area comes with two very comfortable lounge sofas. One of those can be transformed into a double bed for two extra guests. Enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless Internet and smart TV.
SECURITY
The entire area of the peninsula is very quiet and safe. To make your stay even more peaceful there will be a private security service inside the village and a video surveillance service along the external perimeter of the garden of the villa. The images are temporarily stored on the Hikvision DVR placed next to the TV and then automatically deleted. No one can view the images.
Please be respectful of the neighbours and neighbourhood by avoiding disturbing noises. Outside music is tolerated during the day (however never after 11.50 pm), but may not exceed the legal decibel limits. Even the village's family entertainment team must also adhere to noise regulations. The music is always kept below the legal limit to avoid disturbing neighbors. Depending on the wind, between 9 PM and 11 PM, it can be heard more or less from the west side of the house garden; it's part of the holiday atmosphere. (Entertainment is only available during the high season, mid-June to mid-September, but it is not guaranteed for the entire period).
