El apartamento está ubicado en la Piazza del Mercato Centrale, con la puerta principal justo en frente de la entrada al Mercado Central de San Lorenzo.
La estación de tren (Santa Maria Novella) está a 300 metros. Todo el centro histórico y los principales monumentos están a poca distancia. (La Fortezza da Basso, el lugar de ferias y el Palazzo dei Congressi se puede llegar fácilmente a pie en 5 minutos, y el Duomo está a 350 metros).
El apartamento se encuentra en la frontera con la zona de tráfico limitado ZTL y, por lo tanto, se puede acceder en automóvil hasta la puerta principal de la casa. Alrededor del apartamento hay aparcamientos de pago.

El apartamento "Lorenzo" tiene dos habitaciones dobles, un baño grande con ducha, sala de estar con cocina, mesa de comedor y sofá individual. (Para hasta 4 personas)

Las habitaciones dobles son muy tranquilas y están equipadas con aire acondicionado y amplios armarios. Las habitaciones tienen dos camas individuales que se pueden unir para hacer una cama doble.
Una habitación tiene una pequeña terraza, útil para secar la ropa lavada o para fumar.
La cocina tiene 4 placas eléctricas, microondas, hervidor de agua, nevera con un pequeño congelador.
La sala de estar es la única habitación de la casa sin ventanas, pero hay un excelente sistema de ventilación.
El salón es pequeño pero funcional, tiene un solo sofá y una mesa de comedor, cómodo para 4 personas, aire acondicionado, TV.
El baño es muy grande equipado con un bidé y una lavadora.

El apartamento es de la antigua Florencia, renovado manteniendo el sabor de la tradición, con el antiguo techo de vigas de madera. Equipado con aire acondicionado, wi-fi, TV.

El apartamento está en el segundo piso (sin ascensor) después de 30 pasos.

El horario de check-in está garantizado entre las 2:00 pm y las 7:00 pm (check-in después de las 7:00 pm el precio es de 30 euros).

We absolutely loved our stay in San Lorenzo; loved being near the Mercado Centrale and train station. Gabriele was great with suggestions, and we found our own favorites very close by. We will stay with Gabriele again!

Great Unit right across from the Market

Nice unit with AC. AC was very important in July. This unit would be great for 2 couples. The bedrooms are spacious, but the common area is not great for hanging out, but who stays in the room that much when in Florence. Great Price Great Location!!

Incredible location in a lovely city

This place is literally steps away from the Mercato Centrale, a utopia of Italian eating, drinking, and food shopping opportunities. The Duomo is a short walk away - in fact, everything in Florence seems like it's only a short walk away. Plus the streets are filled with people and very safe, day and night. The apartment was a lovely mix of old and new: brick and plaster walls with gorgeous bathroom tile and fixtures, and even a motorized skylight in the master bedroom. Our lovely host met us at the apartment to show us how everything worked and give us tips about the city. We were absolutely enchanted by Florence and this charming apartment.

Amazing location. Spring in bed makes sleeping difficult.

This property is an amazing location. There are shops and restaurants on this block but directly across the street is a huge market. It allows you to shop for produce, meats and cheeses on the ground floor. On the top floor they have Lots of cooked food options. So we really enjoyed the location of the hotel. The price is also great. Shower was hot. washing machine and a line to dry your clothes. Downside to this apartment is the beds. You could trace the coils of all three beds with your finger. It made A very uncomfortable nights sleep.

Fantastic Location

Fantastic location close to lots of the historical sites and museums. At least 20 restaurants within a five minute walk, many right outside door and across the street. Relatively easy (as easy as it gets) walk to main train station. Clean and comfortable well stocked apartment. Having a washing machine is a real plus. Kitchen has a mini fridge which fit our needs for juice for breakfast, leftovers from restaurants, and a few beers and water bottles. Inside looks exactly as shown in photos. Sky light in the bedroom without windows is nice for letting in light. There's no view to speak of, just overlook of back of neighboring units that's not particularly picturesque. Gabriel was very responsive and proactive in providing access instructions and an in person orientation of the apartment upon our arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Florence!

We loved our stay in Florence! The apartment is right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to everything, including the train to the airport. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The only thing we did not care for was the fact that there is a key that turns on the electricity, padlocked to the house key so you can't detach it. While I appreciate the owners desire to save electricity by making sure lights, etc. are turned off when no one is in the apartment, the key made it very difficult in a couple instances. One being at night, it's completely dark and your trying to get in the apartment and get the key in to turn on the lights (maybe have the light inside the door not on this system). The other was the 2 times that my elderly mother wanted to go back to the room while the rest of us wanted to still walk around, she had to take the key and since she is very hard of hearing she did not hear us ring the doorbell and/or would fall asleep and not hear it and we were unable to get into the apartment for quite some time until we could get in touch with her. I would definitely consider changing this system, it makes it very hard when there are multiple people staying at the apartment, especially if one is hard of hearing or falls asleep and doesn't hear the door bell.

Un endroit parfait.

Gabriele est super sympa et accueillant. Notre arrivée c’est parfaitement déroulée. L’appartement est très bien situé, juste en face du mercato centrale et à 2 pas du centre historique et de tous les monuments. Le petit balcon est un plus pour un apéro agréable. Tout était très propre et nickel. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons cet appartement 👍👌

Great location

Gabriele greeted us and is a super nice guy. Location is right across the street from central food market. Main train station was less than 8 minutes away. There you can catch taxis, buses and tours. Decent size supermarket near train station on the way to Gabriele’s place. Plenty of restaurants right outside your door. Florence is a very walkable city so lots of museums and shopping nearby. Apartment was a nice size with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom with great water pressure. Perfect for my husband and I.

Cool apartment close to everything

The apartment is exactly as described, photos very accurate, has the feel of a NY SoHo loft with lots of exposed brick old wood, gleaming tile floors, high ceilings and a very spacious bathroom. The only natural light in the apartment is from a nice skylight in one bedroom and windows looking out into a small central courtyard shared by a few buildings, thus some awareness of the families in the other apartments. Everything worked flawlessly in the apartment; a key turns on the electric lights in the apartment which, if you simply leave the key in the wall switch box by the door, functions like a light switch for the apartment - or you can request a second key from the very nice host Gabriele. He was friendly and very courteous, punctual, very clear with instructions and responsive to our requests, and oriented us nicely to the neighborhood and its many restaurants and attractions. The location itself is right next to San Lorenzo and its dozens of street vendors, an easy walk to most of Florence and 5 minutes to the SMN train station, with many Italian cafes and restaurants and a sprinkling of middle eastern eateries also; 5 minute walk to Duomo and literally across the street from the Mercato Centrale with great food courts on second floor and below, an amazing array of meat and fish mongers (some of whom sing very well!), fruit/vegetable, bakery, spice and cheese mongers - a cook's paradise. That said, the walk across the street to Mercato is a slice of real-life Florence, with delivery trucks, vendors chatting and smoking on the delivery docks, piles of boxes from the deliveries to the market, etc - so if sanitized, tourist-oriented beauty is your thing, the location might be a bit too "real" for you - but we enjoyed it immensely, shopped for our breakfast every day and got to know some of the shopkeepers a bit. Central market

The location is right next to the market, which is great. The porch shown is too small to be of much use and is the only window (except the bathroom) in the apartment. It is above a falafel shop so the smell is distinct with the window open. Dining table is the only sitting area.

Es liegt recht zentral und die Markthalle vor der Tür ist super. Gabriele ist ein netter Vermieter, der von sich aus nachfragt, ob alles o.k. ist. Schade war für uns, dass der Balkon sehr klein ist. Wir sitzen abends gerne noch draussen, das ging leider nicht. Ich würde das Appartement weiterempfehlen.

Clean & Convenient

We really enjoyed the proximity of the apartment to everything Florence had to offer. Additionally, it is across the street from the Market Centrale which offered an amazing array of meal options. The apartment had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a washing machine. Those were the most important items on our amenities list. The kitchen and shared living space is small, but for our purposes it served us well. There are loads of shops and restaurants literally right outside the doorstep. So many memories and no regrets!

Great location and comfort

We had a great stay- Gabriel was very easy to deal with and helpful. We did not spend much time in the apartment and might have been a bit cramped in the living/ dining area for more than 3 people. Very comfortable beds and great bathroom! Thank you Gabriel!

Convenient Location

It is a fairly sizeable unit that will suit a family of four very nicely. The bathroom is bigger than it looks on the photos. The location is great. The mercato is just across the building which helped us eat and drink well. The nearby restaurants are wonderful (hello Zaza's!!!) too. We walked to the must see attractions (again, great starting point) and when it was time to leave, got to the train station very quickly. One thing to remember, listen closely to Gabriele and look at how he opens the door from inside. It is not the usual way. We did have a laugh when we figured it out.

Perfect location - walk to everything. Great host

We had a great stay in this apartment. Everything was walking distance. Duomo was 5 min and Pitti Palace 15 min. Perfect to see all the sites. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very kind and communicative.
