La casa de campo tiene vistas al lago, doble acristalamiento y calefacción central de gasoil.

Planta baja: salón con vigas con asientos para 6 adultos, TV vía satélite y DVD, cocina / comedor que conduce al jardín privado y al patio. Cocina totalmente equipada con cocina / horno de gas, nevera-congelador, microondas, tostadora, lavavajillas y lavadora. Mesa de comedor con capacidad para 6 personas.

Primer piso: 3 habitaciones - 1 doble, una doble y una individual.
Cuarto de baño con ducha en el baño, WC y lavabo.



Casa de vacaciones modernizada con pesca y piscina cerca de las playas del Día D y Mont St Michel

Dentro de 25 acres de una residencia real de caza del siglo 18, Le Pont D'Albart o Alabaster Bridge, cuenta con 4 casas que han sido recientemente renovadas a un nivel muy alto. Hay casas de 1, 2 y 3 dormitorios que ofrecen amplias salas de estar con impresionantes vistas al lago y cocina / comedor bien equipada que conduce a jardines privados y patios. Cerca de las ciudades de mercado de St. Sauveur le Vicomte (8kms) y Bricquebec (9kms). Le Pont D'Albart se encuentra en una zona rural pero céntrica de todas las instalaciones y muchos lugares de interés. La panadería más cercana es 1. 5 kms y las playas vírgenes de Carteret están a 20 minutos en coche. Conveniente para Cherbourg 30 minutos. We had a fantastic two weeks at the Pont d'Albart. The gite was spacious and comfortable and tucked away in a very quiet location. Sid and Zeena were very welcoming

This is a beautiful and very peaceful place to stay, comfortable accommodation and really helpful hosts. There are gorgeous clean empty sandy beaches nearby. You do need to drive to get anywhere, not a problem if prepared. The pool wasn’t very warm but lovely to splash in for a few minutes. The play area is an open ground for football. This is a truly lovely place to stay, I think more suited to older children than our pre schoolers

Excellent

The location is great and the owners are very kind. We had some interesting conversations and they guided us to great locations to visit. The region has everything to offer if you prefer to have an active holiday (with or without kids). We stayed for a week but their clearly wasn't enough time to visit all the hot spots. So enough reasons to visit them again.

Vielen Dank an Sid und Zeena

Wir würden sehr freundlich von Sid und Zeena aufgenommen. Beide waren jederzeits ansprechbar und konnten uns weiterhelfen. Wir waren mit drei Kindern vor Ort. Die Unterkunft hat für Alle Platz und Raum geboten. Auch die Außenflächen haben wir ausgiebig genutzt, die Ruhe und bei Nacht den klaren Sternenhimmel genossen.Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich und mit allem, was man so benötigt eingerichtet.Auch liegt die Ferienwohnung perfekt in der Mitte vom Contentin, sodass man alle Orte auf der Halbinsel gut mit dem Auto und vielleicht mit dem Fahrrad erreicht. Sid konnte uns zahlreiche Insidertipps geben, sodass wir einen sehr schönen, erlebnisreichen und gleichzeitig entspannenden Urlaub verbringen konnten. Auch befinden sich auf dem Anwesen nur wenig weitere Ferienwohnungen, sodass es gleichzeitig ruhig und familiär ist. Für uns Stadtmenschen perfekt. Für Internet war trotzdem gesorgt, sodass der Kontakt zu Außenwelt digital möglich war. Vielleicht kommen wir bald mal wieder! Vielen Dank Sid und Zeena für den schönen Urlaub!

Ruhige Atmosphäre

Sehr ruhige Atmosphäre, sehr nette und kinderfreundliche Gastgeber, es gibt einen Teich mit 2 Paddelbooten, der Pool ist offen 10-20 Uhr, eine Boulangerie im nächsten Dorf, sehr schöne Strände mit dem Auto in 20 min, ohne Touristenmassen. Mont Saint Michel oder Bayeux sind 1h entfernt. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Un beau gite en pleine nature

Les Bergeronnettes est un très beau gite au calme, dans la nature, proche de nombreux endroits à visiter et découvrir dans le Cotentin. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine, les jeux, l'étang où l'on peut faire un petit tour de canoë...et le chat Ticky ;) Très bon accueil de la part de Sid et Zeena, des hôtes agréables et souriants. Merci à eux ! Nous espérons revenir en Normandie pour une semaine plus ensoleillée cette fois ;)

Charming and peaceful

We escaped the madness of the U.K. To this little piece of paradise to have a very relaxing and tranquil week. Sid and Zeena are the most helpful and friendly hosts who are passionate about their beautiful property. Our holiday home was spotlessly clean and we awoke every morning to the stunning view of the lake and its resident kingfisher. We absolutely adored exploring the local villages and tourist spots and going home to eat lovely food and drink wine in the peaceful setting. Thank you so much to you both and sorry it's taken so long to write this.

A Little Piece of Heaven in Normandy!

Simply idyllic! What more do I need to say?! The setting for this small collection of character properties is simply stunning. The properties themselves are simply full of character and well appointed - you want for nothing. And the real surprise....just about the most convivial hosts you could ever hope to meet! On arrival you are greeted not as guests but as a member of the family. And throughout your stay the hosts are so attentive - absolutely nothing is too much trouble. I will return and would recommend others do so without hesitation!

Little piece of paradise

Le Pon't d'albart is simply a little piece of paradise nestled in the beautiful countryside of La Monche. An easy drive to either wild rocky coves, or miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, dotted with quaint harbour towns. Surrounded by history whether medieval or D Day. The gites are superbly equipped and beautifully finished with lovely little gardens and views of the pristine lake. Sid and Zena are always on hand if needed but never intrusive. Superb hosts.

Wonderful holiday in a fabulous location. Sid and Zeena are the most welcoming hosts.

Sid and Zeena welcomed us to our lovely cottage on our arrival. The cottage is fitted out with everything you could possibly need. The location is fabulous, only 40 mins from Cherbourg tucked away in the countryside but within easy reach to either west coast (20 mins) and east coast (35mins). The whole area is steeped in history with lots to see and do. If you don't want to do anything the gite has all the home comforts including UK satellite TV and free wi-fi. The nearby towns of St Saveur le Vicomte and Briquebec are both lovely with large supermarkets, bakeries galore, shops and restaurants as well as historical buildings. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in France, both location and accommodation, we will be returning. Thank you Sid and Zeena for a lovely stay.

Beautiful property in an idyllic setting

Le Pont D'Albert is a beautiful property, which has been brought back to life. The interiors of the property are modern yet sympathetic to the history of the buildings. The views over the lake and beyond make you appreciate the peace and quiet of the Normandy countryside, yet Sid and Zeena have provided the site with a heated pool, wifi and UK TV ensuring you can keep in contact with the outside world (we went with teenagers!!) The kitchen is very well equipped and the nearest town Briquebec has 2 supermarkets which are well stocked. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and visited many interesting sites such as Mont St Michel and Aramanches beach all of which were within a reasonable distance. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Excellent holiday in Normandy

Lovely two week holiday at Pont D'albart in a quiet and very rural part of Normandy. Cottage clean and to an excellent standard with all things necessary for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Pool and boating lake a hit with all the family. Sid and Zeena most generous and welcoming hosts. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to relax but also explore the coast and historic WW2 D Day beaches, brush up on Norman history or 18th century chateau. Cherbourg and Caen also good to visit. Definitely somewhere we will return

The best gites we've visited

This is an excellent location, peaceful and beautiful, great gites and very welcoming and helpful owners. We were on holiday with a large group, our extended family of seven children and seven adults from 6 years up to ... grandparents age. Everyone had a wonderful time! There is so much to do here we were all in the pool, rowing on the lake, fishing, playing football or in the games room everyday. We brought our own rounders set and had plenty of room to play that too. There is a lot to do in the surrounding are as well, the beaches are really great - long sandy and hardly anyone else in sight. I would recommend 'Aux 13 Arches' restaurant at Portbail for a delicious lunch. The gites were spacious, clean and modern, and garden was a real sun trap and we could comfortably sit out late into the evening enjoying the last sun of the day. We have been taking holidays as a group for several years now, and this was definitely the best place we have stayed, it just had everything we wanted. Excellent location, facilities and comfortable gites. Altogether such a good holiday we all said we would love to visit again. Thank you Sid and Zeena!

Quality Family Holiday

Normandy gite

We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years and Le Pont D'Albert was one of the very best. It is in a beautiful rural setting but within easy reach of many towns, villages and tourist locations. The accommodation was of the highest standard and on site facilities wonderful. The games room gave us many hours of fun and the generous sized swimming pool was very welcome. Due to the small number of holiday homes we had practically exclusive use of the facilities even though the other homes were all occupied. The nearest village is a 20 minute walk away along quiet country roads where the shop and bakery stock the essentials. Our family of two adults and two teenage girls had a lovely stay, Sid and Zeena are smashing hosts and most helpful in all respects. I would absolutely recommend Le Pont d'Albert to anyone from couples to families or groups of all ages.

Fantastic!!

We have been here now four times and plan to go again! It is idyllic, the setting and the peace and quiet is just wonderful. All cottages are of an exremely high quality and are spotlessly clean. The cottages are ideally located for exploring the area, four visits and we still have not seen everything on offer. The swimming pool kept the kids entertained for hours, as did boating on the lake. Sid and Zeena were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Le Pont D'Albart to anyone, it is simply the best place I have ever stayed!!

Delightful

Just back from a week away at Pont D'Albart with my 14 year old son, and I have to say what a fantastic week it was. The property is located in a quiet and unspoilt area of Normandy, with very quiet local roads and lovely small towns a few miles away. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the owners very friendly and helpful. At firsdt I thought by son might find it a bit too quiet but I was wrong, he loved it, and we found plenty to do at the site. Swimming, boating, playing pool, table tennis, and walking. The owners recommended a beach which was clean, stretched forever, and was all but empty on a warm sunny day. The nearby towns provide an interesting selection of shops bars and restaurants, and vibrant markets. All in all a superb week, and we were sad to leave.

WISH WE HAD STAYED LONGER

What a wonderful place to stay! This accommodation was superb, better than we had anticipated, the photos don't do it justice! We stayed in Les Chardonnerets with our little boy and it had every facility we could ask for, from a microwave and washing machine to toys- everything we needed! If there had been something we didn't have, we are sure the owners Sid and Zeena would have provided it since they are so helpful and approachable. The view from our bedroom window over the lake was spectacular, waking up to the morning haze over the water and the sun setting on an evening. The pool is lovely, excellent grounds and so much to do in the surrounding area. It was lovely and quiet with only a 2 minute drive to the nearest village and 20 mins drive to some fantastic beaches. We spent most of our time visiting beaches, towns and historical places such as Utah and Omaha. Our favourite beach being Carteret/Barneville. Thank you Sid and Zeena, you have an amazing place, we are quite jealous! We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and wish we had been able to stay longer!

AMAZING!!

What can i say, this place is beautiful. The properties are done out to such a high standard and facilities are spectacular. There is so much to choose from activity wise and the kids loved the pool, games room, boating lake and trampoline while many hours were spent in the woods at the back walking. The owners are lovely and always on hand to give advice and check your ok. This is the nicest property we have stayed in and we come to france every year, can highly reccommend this place and will definetly be returning. Thank you Sid and Zeena for a truly memorable stay, this place is a credit to you.
