Inside as nice as outside

Exquisite furnishings and artwork, fabulous kitchen and just steps away from the tennis court, pool and beach. Private cabana stocked with beach necessities was a bonus. Amazing shell collecting opportunity and for seeing turtles, fish, dolphins, manatees, rays, sand dollars and iguanas.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper West is a small community of only 6 units and only one is rented regularly. During our stay we never saw anyone else and the community was very quiet. Overall, we said this was probably our best vacation - amazing condo, great location (central to lots of things and we didn’t end up having to fight Periwinkle Way traffic all the time). The condo was immaculate and very well appointed. Our master bedroom furniture appeared to be brand new and there was a gorgeous new couch. Linen closet was very well stocked with loads of towels and extra sheets. The kitchen has everything you need! One of the best features are the sliding doors to the lanai that we kept open all the time to expand the living space. We spent so much time lounging out there and would slide the lanai doors open in the morning and to be able to chat with family who were at the pool. The poolside cabana was a definite plus as it kept our pool and beach things out of the condo and it was very well furnished with umbrellas and a cart. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Seashells at Sandpiper

Our third time to Sanibel, first time at Sandpiper. Our children range in ages from 1.5-8 years old. The property was excellent. Loved all the space and the updates on furniture were so modern and nice. The pool was warm and clean. Our access to the cabana for all the beach gear was much appreciated. We truly made some very special memories here!

It was located in a central location to area restaurants. Sanibel island was clean and pretty. If you are looking for a place to be in the ocean, this was not the place to be. We actually drove to Captiva to get in the ocean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family vacation was great here at Sandpiper West #2. Only steps from the beach, there were sea turtle nests nearby. We enjoyed watching a gopher turtle in the dunes by the house. So very sad that the red tide is destroying the sea life. Grateful to have a pool to cool off since the gulf has the tide problem. Captiva water was much clearer but still some dead fish on the beach. Hope the water returns to normal soon.
