La villa se encuentra en Nerotrivia-Dafni Evias, a 100 km del centro de Atenas, a 25 km de la ciudad de Chalkida y a 7,5 km del hermoso pueblo pesquero de Politika. El pueblo está situado lejos de las miradas indiscretas, en la montaña, en un hermoso bosque de pinos. Está a solo 5 km de la playa de aguas azules de Dafni.
El espacio exterior está rodeado por una piscina privada, un jardín, un sitio de estacionamiento y un almacén en una finca de cuatro acres. El edificio principal tiene tres dormitorios y dos baños, uno de los cuales se encuentra en uno de los dormitorios. También hay una cocina y una sala de estar. A wonderful Villa, ideal for families and a group of couples or friends. The pool and BBQ area were great and very accessible and close to the kitchen and Master bedroom. As described in the reviews, the photos don't come close to portraying the breathtakingly beautiful views. A day could be spent just sitting and gazing out at the sea! I couldn't recomnend this Villa more.

We had a fantastic time at this great villa. It was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable with good quality towels and crockery, etc. The outside space was very well kept and the pool was a good size and very well used by us. The view was to die for and our host very generous and provided us with local wine, eggs and other lovely stuff. Highly recommended. Also recommend Kyriakos restaurant at Politika - fantastic food and service

Excellent family property in a stunning location. We had a great time and would come again. Just a shame the pool and garden had not been properly maintained prior to our arrival, (uncut grass and pool had a green algae colour throughout; I assume we were one of the first guests of the season), which is the reason for 4 instead of 5*. Otherwise it was perfect.

At the same time, I would like to sincerely apologize for the appearance of the pool and the lawn. The pool water was replaced this year, so it is truly fresh, and its maintenance with chemicals and cleaning is carried out thoroughly. However, a combination of very hot days and an unexpected leave of absence from the person who normally takes care of the pool and lawn led to this result. My father did everything he could to improve the situation, but unfortunately, it needed some time. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Next time, things will definitely be much better. The villa is beautiful and perfectly planned. The surroundings and views are spectacular. In mid october the pool was very cool (cooler than the Euboian gulf). Heating would have been very nice. The kitchen was well suited for cooking, but we missed a few utensils, for instance a pasta spoon. Also we had to buy toiletpaper, detergent and barbeque charcoal, which was difficult to find. The host had put a pet bottle of white wine on the table when we checked in. That was nice, but basic things like toiletpaper is more important. These observations are minor details though. Overall a fantastic house in a very fine place with extraordinary good views. The nearby village Nerotrivia is nice, with a small supermarket and a bakery. Two very good tavernas nearby, Bakoutis in Nerotrivia and Dafni taverna. Delicious food for good price. Good hiking opportunities in Steni, a village one hour drive from the villa.

Summer Holidays

We loved it here. Very peaceful location with amazing views across the sea to the mainland. The pictures don’t do it justice. Kids loved the pool. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere at Politika beach and had a great meal in the seafront tavernas. Excellent communications from Antonis and his Dad called in to check wee were ok. Great hosts. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful views

Lovely large Villa in a beautiful location. Will appeal to people that love a great view and need peace and quiet. The pool is great for the water lovers and good for children. There is a lovely Taverna in the village with a great host. We shopped in Lidl ! On our way, to stock up on food and drink . There were a few places to visit which were mentioned in the notes at the Villa. All in all it was a good mix of chilling out in our own lovely space and driving down winding roads to explore quiet beaches . I am missing my early morning cup of tea , and late night glass of wine on that patio.

Truly a Fairytale!

My husband and I brought our three children (ages 16, 12, 11) here for a week in December. The house was perfect-exactly as described. The view was unbelievable. Pictures cannot capture how incredible it really is. Antonis and his father were so kind and helpful. While most of the “touristy” stuff was closed, we did not lack things to do! We hiked, explored the mountains by car, and visited the surrounding towns. The townsfolk were so incredibly nice. If you are looking for the perfect mountain retreat, this is it!

Wonderful vacation

We can only agree with previous reviews. The property is beautiful, clean, quiet and well maintained. Despite the hot period at the end of July, the lawn and plants were green and full of blossoms. The view in reality is even wider and more idyllic than in the photos. The kids jumped into the pool two or three times per day, explored the property or built up relations to little praying mantises while we adults read books or cooked. After one week Antonis came by to check the quality of the pool. Go to Bakoutis tavern at the nearby village! I think we rarely had such a peaceful and relaxed vacation. Thank you, Antonis, for a wonderful time!

Million dollar view and excellent house in a beautiful region

We had an amazing stay at this villa. Contact with the owner was quick and friendly. The villa is spacious, feels authentic but also has all modern amenities that you'd need. The swimming pool with shaded area was a real delight, especially during warmer days. The veranda that surrounds the villa let's you sit in the sun or the shade and breeze or no breeze the entire day. It felt very well thought out. The surrounding area is very lush and beautiful and plenty of tavernas in the area with Bakoutis Taverna at 5 minutes drive. Prices are very low and the food is really good. Very friendly locals. But to us the view was the real highlight.The pictures do not do enough justice to how beautiful the view is from the villa at all times and all weathers. A true million dollar view! I'll gladly recommended this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury stay in Evia!

Perfect place to relax

We had a fantastic stay at this villa which was aptly named ‘Fariytale’. The view was really fantastic and possibly the best we have ever seen with stunning sunsets in the evening. The house is decorated to a good standard and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool was perfect and completely private with no properties to overlook you. Local taverners were excellent and there is even a little supermarket not far in the village. If you don’t mind a drive there are beaches close and more tavernas. All in all it was ideal for us and our family although it may not suit small children. If I was going to offer any other feedback it would just be to say a parasol or two would have been helpful. There is a large beautiful tree that gives plenty of shade but occasionally it would have been nice to sit elsewhere in the grounds but that would be the only thing. Other than that is was a fabulous place to stay.

Absolutely Enchanting

After a challenging 12 months we needed time to rest and recover. Villa Fairytale delivered in every respect. The property is designed to make the most of its location overlooking the Gulf of Evia. The open plan living area looks out over the mountains and sea as does the pool and terrace. We spent hours getting lost in those views! The villa has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, quiet aircon units and mosquito screens on the French windows which meant we could enjoy the breezes without needing to use the air conditioning. It was an easy drive from Athens airport though be prepared for hairpin bends as you approach Nerotrivia and the villa. You soon get used to them and the local roads are very quiet. Boukoutis taverna was great. We arrived in the early hours and Antonis was brilliant, arranging for the keys to be left for us. Communication throughout our stay was brilliant and it was wonderful to meet Mr Argirios with his lovely smile and concern that we had a good stay at the villa. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for a wonderful holiday, you have a very special villa.

A quite family vacation with extraordinary views!

This house sits high up on the hill providing amazing views and privacy. The house is very clean and lovely. We spent most of our time on the veranda looking at the view and catching the breeze. The pool was cool and refreshing and much needed on a hot August day. The bedrooms are spacious with plentiful storage space. We bought supplies at the local market in Nerotrivia and ate dinner at Taverna Bakoutis Nikolaos several nights which we highly recommend. We went to Dafni Beach and lounged near the Taverna where we had a nice dinner that evening. We discovered the Tuz Beach Bar in Politika by chance and decided to stay for a drink. We ended up spending two evenings there. The island is lovely and you won’t find many tourists. The people are charming and helpful. My husband enjoyed morning walks around the area during which he encountered some local characters. The roads are very narrow, so you will not want a large car. The temperatures were extremely hot, and while the house bedrooms have air conditioning, the rest of the house does not. You would sometimes get a good breeze on the veranda, but fans in the living and kitchen area would have been helpful. We ended up eating out every night since cooking would have been too hot. Though the local cuisine was so delicious, that was hardly a concern. We relished our time on Evia island and experiencing the local culture.

Lovely villa in a secluded spot overlooking the sea

We had a wonderful week at the villa at the end of September. It is very well equipped, spotlessly clean, and has a fabulous view over the sea. The weather was really glorious, I don't think we saw a cloud until the last couple of days, so the pool was great for keeping cool when we spent time relaxing "at home". We went out for at least part of most days either up into the mountains or to the local beaches . Everywhere was so quiet. Often we found ourselves sharing a long beach or a sea-front taverna with only a handful of other people. Virtually all were Greek; there were very few other tourists. Without exception, the locals were friendly and happy to go out of their way to be helpful. None more so than the delightful parents of Antonis, the property manager, who made us feel part of the community. It really was a very magical and relaxing time, and we would certainly recommend the villa to anyone looking for a bit of authentic Greece with its great food, lovely beaches, stunning scenery and warm-hearted people. We have rated all aspects of the property as five stars except the check-in process and communication with the property manager (Antonis) to which we have given four stars. This is essentially the same issue. For some reason, once we had arrived in Greece not all our email and text messages seemed to get through to Antonis. So, for example, as agreed we sent him a text about 30 minutes before we were due to arrive at the taverna in Nerotrivia where we had arranged to meet. Antonis did not receive this. Fortunately, once we had explained the situation to the owner he kindly 'phoned Antonis' father who immediately came to the taverna (even though it was 10.30pm), took us to the villa, and explained how everything worked. (Incidentally, during the day the taverna doubles as the local butcher, so the meat dishes are really good. Highly recommended.)

Wirklich wie im Märchen

Wir haben insgesamt 13 Nächte in der Villa verbracht. Und selten stimmt eine Ferienhausbeschreibung inklusive der Bilder so sehr mit dem Inserat überein wie hier. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch als Unterkunft für den Besuch von Freunden einfach perfekt. Das Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Badzugang sichert hier die Privatspähre. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal inklusive traumhafter Sonnenuntergänge, für die man einfach nur rausgeht und staunt. Auch die Outdoor-Kitchen ist perfekt für Kochabende mit Freunden. Und dank des mitgebrachten Magenta TV Stick konnte man auch das ein oder andere TV Highlight schauen. HDMI und Wlan sei dank. Wenn man sich auf das Abenteuer Euböa einlässt, wo alles etwas mehr Zeit braucht, dann ist man hier richtig.

Villa au calme sur les hauteurs à 5kms du village de pêcheurs de Politika. Si vous recherchez la tranquillité,vous êtes au bon endroit. C'est le calme absolu.Cette villa a toutes les commodités et une vue magnifique sur la mer et sur les collines. Accueil très chaleureux des parents du propriétaire et une bonne bouteille de vin de leur propriété nous attendait.Le paysage est vraiment exceptionnel.

Charming cottage

Villa Faitytale ist ein bezauberndes Ferienhaus. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind einmalig. Für alle, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen genau das Richtige. Zu hören sind nur die Zikaden. Vom Swimmingpool konnten wir nicht genug kriegen. Antonis und seine Eltern, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen haben sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Waltraud Villa Faitytale is a charming vacation home. The location and the view are unique. For all those who are looking for peace and relaxation just right. The only sounds are the cicadas. We could not get enough of the swimming pool. Antonis and his parents, who welcomed us very warmly, are excellent hosts. We can only recommend the accommodation. Waltraud
