Esta casa grande, clásica y cómoda de Sea Ranch cuenta con una bañera de hidromasaje privada y una enorme chimenea de piedra que calienta las noches de invierno más frescas. Hay un gran loft con mesa de billar y para músicos, disfrute del piano.

Los arreglos para dormir en la casa incluyen dos dormitorios en la planta baja, uno con una cama king y el otro con una cama queen. Hay dos baños en esa planta baja también. El loft tiene el futón doble. Hay un nido de cuervos sobre el garaje, separado de la casa principal, con un baño adjunto y una cama doble. Hasta ocho personas pueden alojarse cómodamente aquí.

La casa Norman también cuenta con una agradable área de terraza con barbacoa en el lado de la casa con vista al mar. La bañera de hidromasaje se encuentra en un patio cercado en una de las habitaciones. Puedes caminar fácilmente a Walk On Beach, Shell Beach y el área de juegos / picnic de One-Eyed Jack.

Notas de estacionamiento: Las reservas con 1-2 huéspedes recibirán 1 pase de estacionamiento (a menos que se especifique lo contrario), 3+ invitados recibirán 2 pases de estacionamiento. La Asociación Sea Ranch solo permite 2 pases por reserva. Great old Sea Ranch house. Needs some upgrades, especially back bedroom. Also seemed like there'd be more sleeping areas but in our case did not matter. We loved the house and location close to the coastal walk. Would definitely come back to the Norman house.

Great location and great size. The house is architecturally beautiful but definitely needs some updates (gas heaters falling apart, window coverings not functional). That being said, the outdated-ness didn't really impact our enjoyment of the house and the area. More dish towels and more bed sheets would have been nice. Kitchen was more updated and relatively well stocked.

Comfortable and spacious

This home was a good place for a family gathering, including a 2 year old, with easy access to the playground, beaches, etc. The living room and window seats lent themselves to many hours of lounging and playing.

Spacious house in wonderful location

The house is large and location is great! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table very much. The kitchen was well stocked. We appciated the large size of the house with plenty of seating and space for everyone (8 people). Best of all it was a 5 minute walk to the bluff trail with access to tide pools and 12 minute walk to Walk On Beach. We struggled with the front door as the code to open it was 10 digits and it locked every time it closed. Also there was no wifi in the detached bedroom. I would still rent this house again because of the location, space, amenities and price.

Great house

The house is well stocked and in a lovely location to be able to walk to all the beaches, we hardly needed the car at all. Our kids loved the loft and the layout is great for families. There were a couple of problems with firewood and propane but the local Vacasa office was very prompt in addressing them for us! The house could do with some basic maintenance from the owners, but it’s a lovely sea ranch house.

Fun location

The house and location were fun. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house upon arrival. There were cobwebs throughout the house and the fountain next to the hot tub needed attention. There was an empty beer bottle and cigarette butt in the fountain. Overall we had a great time. The house could just use some TLC.

We have been coming to the Norman House for approximately 15 years. It is still an amazing home in an amazing location in the meadow. The home is older and need of repairs and updates but otherwise is comfortable.

They didn’t tell you that the third bedroom was detached from the house. The hot tub area was a mess and the hot tub didn’t work. We spent all weekend cleaning cobwebs. Door locks stopped working after first day luckily we left a door open so we were able to get back in. It is a shame because the house had plenty of room and was a comfortable area

handsome house that needs some maintenance

We have stayed in this house over the years and have enjoyed the mix of communal spaces and privacy. Location is wonderful. This time, there were problems that needed attention, like the leaking bay window by the fireplace and the low water pressure, and problems that had had incomplete attention, like the sawdust in the bathroom and the burnt out light bulbs. All are inconveniences that could have been fixed by the time anyone else rents the house.

Third bedroom was detached, and I was not informed of this. The area around the hot tub was a disaster, and the hot tub did not work. All the outdoor chairs were covered in cobwebs, and the barbecue pit was dirty. There was Frayed carpet in the bedroom and we cut our feet on the Tac strip.

Unexpected, but Enjoyable.

Firstly, kudos to the staff at the Gualala Vacasa office. They did a stellar job of scrambling new lodgings for us even though we were already on route and the original house was without power. Secondly, Norman House was a pleasant surprise for a last minute swap. Well laid out kitchen/dining room area with visibility through to all guests, even in the living room. The ample, numerous window seats were great, as was the quite large fireplace. A suggestion might be a handyman visit to address slight leaks in one or two of the window seals along the window seats. There may be a few other areas only visible due to the recent heavy rains. Lovely Sea Ranch visit, as usual, even when handed the unexpected-- thank you! Jon

Good home but not in great condition

Great location - esp. for kids. Beaches are nearby, as is playground, and the home is spacious and accomodates a group. It is older and not well maintained (stove did not work, kitchen faucet is shakey, furniture and fixtures are generally worn and somewhat stained) but the pictures and reviews should made that no surprise. A bit stingy on cleaning supplies (used kitchen sponge, for example) required a small stocking up purchase at the local grocery store for a few things. Building manager seemed responsive enough (supplied a temp counter top stove for us) and the price was not "top tier" so we did not expect top tier conditions. Come prepared for that and you should be happy enough as the location and house itself is good.

Cleanliness and working appliances

For the most part it was great stay, but this place needs attention to cleanliness there is kid’s underwear in room by the bathroom behind the dresser, we found what looked like a humans ashes in a bag by the front door, we had no propane to cook or shower, the shower in the master bedroom seem to be broke was very hot when we wanted to take shower so we all had to use the hallway’s bathroom which also screamed at us the whole time while showering very loud, the screen door in master bedroom the shades are broken, the bbq pit was riddled with mold so I did my best to clean it, but the good thing was when I spoke to management they handled and were nice about it, I would still stay here again but when I do I’d make sure they have the main thing handled like propane and cleanliness taken cared of other than that this place was very magical and communication was good.

Great House with a Few Maintenance Issues

Overall we had a great time staying at the Norman House in sea ranch. The House slept 7 people easily and as others mentioned, one of the rooms is in a separate studio above the garage. There's plenty of driveway space for parking cars. There is firewood in a outside closet, but there's no instructions on where to find it. Pros: the house is large and had great amenities like hot tub, pool table, and fireplace. It's a short walk to the beach and in a great location to explore sea ranch and Gualala. Built in seating is a nice touch in dining and living rooms. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and has newer appliances. Cons: So many things in the house are broken such as lights and outlets. The shower head sprays at belly button height and made a terrible screaching noise. All the pool cues are missing felt tips and the pool table is moth eaten. Some of these things seem like they'd be easy to fix if the owner put some money into the house. House was fairly clean but pretty dirty if you looked around furniture and in corners.

Lovely place,…. Vacasa, not so much

Our stay was incredible because of the dear friends with whom we shared the experience. Sea Ranch is one of my favorite places in earth. But we were frustrated by the fact that there was no hot water for most of our stay, and the Vacasa property management person who “assisted” us was extravagantly unhelpful. In fact, she seemed determined NOT to be helpful. Eventually a technician came - but the hot water was back off within hours. We were given a long list of suggestions as to how to find hidden breaker panels, and to service the water heater ourselves. None of which worked The series of sweetly bossy text messages caused an entire afternoon of unpleasantness and stress for me, my husband and our guests. I will go out of my way to avoid patronizing any property managed by Vacasa in the future. We received relentlessly cheerful - yet were served in an utterly frustrating and inexcusable manner.

Nice location but run down

Overall nice location but very run down. Coat hangers used as a tie for the blinds/ gas heaters along the ground level in disrepair- broken with sharp edges, door next to fireplace has a post it saying hard to close but it just needs the lock replaced, swung open during the night and definitely made the home feel less secure when you were sleeping/ Cobwebs everywhere. Great to be so close to the beach but at the very least replace the locks on front and side door so it feels more secure.

So wonderful

We had a wonderful time at this excellent rental house. Perfect for kids with the pool table and piano! We will definitely try to book this same spot next year.

Review of Norman House

We loved this house for the most part. The lighting in the house was not good. Kitchen over the stove lights did not work. One shower made a horrible loud noise. screen doors were hard to open. Freezer is very hard to open.

Will be back, but with more than just us!

Just the two of us, and here are our thoughts: *too big for two, would be great for a big fam, or three/four couples, w/or without kids *nice large kitchen, well stocked, double oven, gas stove, big fridge, plenty of pots, plates, etc *the track lighting over the sink and stove weren't working which made it hard to cook in the eve (approx 6 track lights) *not much of an ocean view, but a very quick walk to it! *hot tub nice and private, off the master, no view *a bit dated, but loved the originality and hominess of it *beds comfy enough and plenty of blankets *heating system worked awesome, had chilly mornings and warmed up quick *pool table and piano were fun, nice touches *played golf down the road (approx 2 miles away) *Gualala is close as well!! *would definitely stay here again with more fam or friends next time!

Fun family house

This was the perfect house for our family. Loved the location, the hot tub, the size of the house. The pool table upstairs was fun. Well equipped kitchen made meals a breeze although they could use more wine glasses, I think there were only 3-4. There were a few ants in the main bathroom but they didn’t bother us. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows. Beautiful views of the meadow!
