Ko Lanta, una isla de turismo familiar por excelencia, donde la naturaleza aún tiene su lugar; descubrirás playas casi desiertas en el extremo sur de la isla; los monos sin duda vendrán a pedir comida a veces.
Una moto automática, y presto, partió para descubrir el pueblo de gitanos junto al mar y recorrer el casco antiguo de Ko Lanta; este mismo pueblo que acoge el Festival de Ko Lanta todos los años; mezcla de folklore local, tradiciones y bailes de hace poco más de 100 años, la llegada de los primeros inmigrantes a la isla
Si estás pensando en bucear, también estás en el lugar correcto, sitios maravillosos donde todavía admiramos, Manta Ray y Whale Sharks. a ver absolutamente
 ¡Ko Lanta es bueno para las vacaciones!

el pueblo está a tiro de piedra, con todas las tiendas; de la tienda de conveniencia al farmacéutico! El mantenimiento de la casa es constante, ¡tampoco es una mala sorpresa!

Su cabaña está ubicada en el recinto privado de una villa, solo hay 2 cabañas y LA CALMA ES RIGOR DESPUÉS DE LAS 9:00 p.m.

Koh Lanta holiday

We loved our stay in Pat & Serge's bungalow in Koh Lanta. It is super private and quiet but close to the beach, bars, resteraunts and supermarkets. The bungalow has all the facilities you need and has a lovely feel to it. Pat & Serge are so welcoming and kind and we felt at home straight away. The pool is so good after a day out exploring in the tropical heat. We will be returning! Thanks to Pat & Serge for a wonderful holiday!

Vacation in paradise

We spent four wonderful weeks with Pat and Serge during November and December 2015. Pat and Serge are excellent hosts always willing to help with anything you need. The cottage was great with AC in all rooms, comfortable beds and weekly cleaning with fresh linens. With the lush garden and the swimming pool the cottage was perfect for our little family providing a relaxing oasis. We definitely look forward to staying with Pat and Serge again

Nightmare

Not allowed guests or my god children to come for lunch or use the pool, no guests allowed does not say in house rules or online. So talked with serge agreed to leave 6 days early, his wife came on the last day & insulated me called me a hooliganism & a drunk , seems o me ou re not allowed fun here . I would only recommend this place if your over 80 have no friends & want non . Please tell me how to get a full refund & take them off your list

Need to Knows

The property and apartments are excellent options for your stay on Koh Lanta. The location is very private, has a great shower, and the internet is wonderful. However, the property managers did not have an after hours plan and had not given us adequate instructions to find the place. Our flight was delayed by 5 hours which meant we didn't get into the area until 7:30-8pm. When we called the owner, he was very upset and was not calm enough to help us problem solve. The language barrier didn't help. We ended up staying at a different location the first night, because we couldn't find it! Secondly, it was not disclosed in the VRBO description that there was an additional electricity fee. When we did make it to the apartment the next day, the owner had written down the meter reading which after our own observation was completely incorrect and would have cost us several hundred more dollars! When we mentioned the error, the owners did take off this fee entirely, but it should have been disclosed on the VRBO listing. With both instances combined, it made for an uncomfortable stay. Just be sure that you get really good directions before you arrive!

Extraordinary and amazing stay

Stayed for three weeks at one of Serge’s bungalows and couldn’t be happier. Very tastefully decorated from the architecture to the landscaping and well thought out from things like privacy, comfort and small things required for every day living. Close to the beach with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Serge its an Amazing and warm person and we enjoyed his hospitality. Would love to come back...

JOLIE MAISON PROCHE DES COMMERCES ET DE LA PLAGE

Jolie maison indépendante entourée de plantes tropicales et d'une piscine, située à l'écart de la route principale qui dessert l'île. Les vendeurs de fruits et légumes sont tout proches de même qu'un petit supermarché Eleven mais aussi toutes autres commodités pour des touristes tels que bureau de change, , pharmacie et les inévitables tuktuk. Les photos sont parfaitement conformes à la réalité. Serge et Pat ainsi que Suey sont très gentils, à l'écoute de leurs locataires et de bons conseils. La plage est à 100 m environ ; on emprunte un chemin un peu tortueux mais néanmoins praticable et dégagé. dDe petits restaurants très sympathiques surtout le soir se trouve en bordure des rochers. Il faut parcourir quelques mètres de plus pour avoir la plage de sable fin qui s'étend sur près de 3 kms. Le seul bémol concerne l'électricité laquelle est décomptée en plus du prix de la location ainsi que cela est indiquée dans les conditions générales . Il faut compter non pas 100 bath par jour mais plutôt 175 bath alors que nous n'utilisions pas tous les climatiseurs en même temps. A part cette petite surprise, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

Very clean!

Our hosts were very helpful! And the cottage was very clean and neat. Also, the pool was pristine. You could see that it was thoroughly cleaned every morning. Just a couple of extra recommendations that Serge gave us. The Red Snapper restaurant, within easy walking distance, was very good. So was the massage at the kiosk outside of the Good Days Resort (up the beach, just before the stream that empties into the ocean).

Admirable sublime extraordinaire magnifique...

Nous avons passé deux semaines ma mère et moi dans une des petites villas très spacieuses, très bien aménagée, et sublimement confortable. L’emplacement est idéal pour les plages, les commerces, les tuk-tuk, les excursions et surtout les petits retours au calme près de la piscine entourée d’un magnifique jardin. Quant à l’accueil, nous avons énormément apprécié la gentillesse de Serge et Pat, les propriétaires. Ils ont été à nos petits soins. Très pédagogues, à notre écoute pour nous organiser des sorties en fonction de nos attentes. Merci de nous avoir fait passer un séjour de rêve que nous ne pourrons pas oublier. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à repartir. Lydia et Ginette

UN PARADIS MAIS PAS SEULEMENT .....

Un formidable havre de repos, un paradis ! Tout était conforme à ce que nous imaginions : formidable accueil de Serge et Pat, toujours à l'écoute, souriants et d'excellents conseils tout en étant discrets, la location extrêmement agréable et très bien entretenue, le jardin calme, la piscine, tout était parfait et même plus que parfait. Serge et Pat nous ont formidablement épaulés pour une aide médicale qui nous a été nécessaire lors de notre séjour : merci encore mille fois ! Nous n'avons vraiment qu'une envie .... revenir !

Great vacation rental -perfection in koh lanta

this place is really amazing, very clean, very comfortable, everything is brand new and in working order. super comfortable beds. AC in all rooms beautiful pool and lush green garden. the owners are extremely friendly and they do everything to make your stay comfortable; be it scooter rentals or other local koh lanta advice. i will definitely stay there again

Urlaub nach unserem Geschmack

Liebe Pat, lieber Serge, danke für den traumhaften Urlaub bei euch. Das Haus ist genauso schön wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Jugendliche) fühlen uns direkt zu Hause. Täglich fragten uns die Vermieter ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist und gaben uns wertvolle Tipps ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Auch die Abholung von Flughafen wurde bestens organisiert. Allerdings muss man noch mal 2 Stunden einplanen für Fahrt und 2 Fähren. Das Haus wurde 2x geputzt und Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt.Wir waren zum ersten mal in Thailand und sind mitten im Thaileben gelandet. In die eine Richtung Lokale, Shops, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten alles was man zum täglichen Leben braucht. Zur anderen Seite Meer und kilometerlanger Sandstrand. Am Anfang etwas steinig, 100 m weiter links aber Sand pur. Über eine Stunde im warmen Meer treiben lassen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Das nenne ich Urlaub.

Urlaub nach unserem Geschmack

Wir verbrauchten 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Ko Lanta. Das Haus und die Anlage ist genau so schön wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Serge und Pat sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Täglich wurden wir gefragt ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist, ohne das sie aufdringlich waren. Behilflich bei allen Fragen ob nach Wäscherei oder Ausflügen.Das Haus würde mehrfach gereinigt und wie bekamen die Betten neu bezogen und frische Handtücher. Wenn man mitten im Thai Leben landen will, ist man dort genau richtig. Jede Menge Restaurants, und Geschäfte in die einen Richtung, in die andere Richtung ist man in wenigen Minuten am Strand. Etwas weiter rechts fantastischer Sandstrand und viele nette kleine Standbars. Jeden Abend einen anderen Ausblick auf den grandiosen Sonnenuntergang. Excellent villa!

Our family spent two wonderful weeks at the villa. It’s an excellent place! The house is well-furnished with clean and light bedrooms and a very comfortable living room. The kitchen has everything necessary, so I could cook for the kids myself. We sometimes had breakfast at the Serge's bakery. Chocolate biscuits and cinnamon rolls were delicious . It takes five minutes to get to the beach and we walked and swam there every day though the beach near the villa is stony and not very good for kids. The sea is crystal-clear and there are shells and sand for kids to play with. There is also a clean swimming pool which we liked very much. Every evening we admired an amazing Lanta’s sunset that is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life! There are many massage spa near the villa. I visited Da Ya Spa and absolutely liked it. Serge helped us to rent motorbikes and we drove around the island and visited different places.

Un vrai bonheur !

Nous avons séjourné 13 jours chez Patt et Serge. Serge est français, cela nous à bien arrangé car il nous a organisé des excursions : un tour de l'île avec un pécheur du coin, qui ne parlais que thaï, notre journée était donc programmée à l'avance et nous n'avons eu aucun problème de langue, ni de mauvaises surprises. Il nous a aussi organisé le transfère de l'aéroport de Phuket à chez lui avec un chauffeur privé. Sa popularité dans le village lui permet de nous donner diverses conseils, il est à l'écoute et disponible en cas de besoin. Notre maison était vraiment bien située dans le village: restaurants, massages, supérette et plage à 5 minutes à pied. La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle et la piscine était vraiment très agréable le soir en rentrant. Je conseil cet endroit paradisiaque, notamment pour les français ne maîtrisant pas parfaitement l'anglais !!!!!

A hidden gem on Koh Lanta

We stayed in a lovely 2 bdrm villa with our teenage daughter for a week in March 2012. It was great. The pictures are true. Everything is well cared for and very clean + relaxing ( Pat + Serge live on the property and are extremely helpful ). The property is gated and safe. It is a 3 min walk down a shaded path to the beach. With awsome sunsets :-)) If you walk up the beach a few min you have an uncrowded and wonderfully smooth sandy beach. We rented scooters during our stay and had a wonderful time discovering the island and of course picked up cake or a croissant from Pat´s bakery just across the street! But no street noise at the villa. Plenty of shops or restaurants close by. We would definately recommend this tiny gem.

Perfect Little Family Villa

My husband and I spent a week in Serge and Pat's villa with our 9 month old son. The set up of the house was perfect for our little family. We were pleasantly surprised that the villa is much nicer than we saw in the pictures. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. Serge and Pat were extremely helpful - from organizing our transfers from the airport to providing tips on places to go for food/drinks. They even helped us find a babysitter so we could go out to dinner at night after our son went to sleep. The house is located about a 5 min walk from the beach. (Depending on the tides - it's no the best beach for swimming because of rocks but other beaches nearby are good. there are also lots of restaurants and bars along the beach within walking distance. The pool was perfect for afternoon swims with the little one - esp on super hot days. The yard / pool shared with another villa but you never feel like it is crowded.
