Le invitamos a alojarse en nuestra hermosa casa de campo en la espectacular sierra sur. Estamos a sólo 17 millas magníficos de la entrada en el Parque Nacional de Yosemite. Pasar el día caminatas por los senderos en Yosemite luego volver a casa y disfrutar de un refrescante baño en el privado, grande piscina en el suelo. Relajarse en nuestras cómodas hamacas o herraduras de juego y bádminton. ¿Gusta leer? Póngase cómodo en una de nuestras sillas de salón al aire libre, relajarse, leer y disfrutar del aire de montaña dulce olor. Tenemos una parrilla de acero inoxidable de barbacoa para deleite de su corazón. Después de la cena en remojo en nuestro spa aislada mineral terapéutica reactivación de dolor, rastro de los músculos cansados. Estás a sólo 7 minutos de la localidad de montaña de Oakhurst donde se puede cenar en uno de nuestros muchos restaurantes, disfrutar de una película o tal vez una obra en el teatro de la cadena de oro. A 30 minutos en coche por la carretera histórica 49 te lleva a Mariposa, una auténtica ciudad de la fiebre del oro con el juzgado que trabaja de forma continua más antigua de California, y visitar uno de los mejores museos de la zona. Bass Lake está a sólo 10 minutos de nuestro país de origen si desea pasar el día pescando y la navegación. Nuestra zona tiene muchos bonitos paseos a tomar, senderos para caminar y cosas que hacer. Venir y visitar y tendrá que volver una y otra vez y otra vez.

Absolutely love this property, very peaceful and clean. Beautiful setting, quiet neighborhood. Host very friendly and welcoming. Love to come back. Only one desapointed pool was out of season and not heated, wish host mentioned that in listing. Other than that we had a wonderful time. Thanks a lot.

Great place to stay to unwind and reconnect. The pool, spa, and ammenities were perfect and everything was easily child friendly for my 8 month olds. The dogs loved the property - quail, deer and ravens. 5 stars!

We had a fantastic stay at this home. We were looking for a home that would accommodate my 19 year-old son with Autism (hence, the pool - he loves to swim), and my 16 year-old son who has an orthopedic impairment (no stairs, all one level). My husband and I envisioned a quiet place to sit out on a deck/patio, read, relax, listen to the sounds of nature and not have to worry about our boys. This home checked all the boxes and then some. The pictures do not do this home justice - it is simply put, charming. Some things that were important to me, besides the above listed:Air conditioning - the air conditioning unit in this home is a BEAST. It almost works too good. The house stays cool throughout the day and we found we only really needed to use it at night, and even then, I was adding extra blankets on my bed (I sleep hot, so this was fantastic). WiFi - the WiFi in this home is SOLID. My youngest was looking to be able to game and connect with friends, and he had no trouble. At night we streamed Neflix and Prime and never had any issue with connectivity. Kitchen - the kitchen is fully stocked with all the things you would need, and then some. It's large, and easy to navigate with a crowd (or teenagers peaking over your shoulder to supervise dinner)The house is very accessible - including ramps to access the backyard. A gorgeous big, fenced front yard for large dogs to romp freely, and a smaller fenced yard for the little fur baby's to safely do their business.

I can't say enough posituve things about this property and its owners. The home is fabulous, spacious but cozy. Everything you might need is provided, including a nice goodie basket and a bottle of wine. The property surrounding the house is gorgeous. The kids spent a lot of time in the large pool, which is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. The owners provide a great selection of floaties. Speaking of the owners, they are awesome, very friendly and responsive. They even gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants. My granddaughter said that of all of the VRBO's we've rented for family vacations, this is the best.

Second stay at this property

This is the second time we stayed here and it was just as great as the first time - which is why we came back. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, wine and snacks provided upon arrival. It was absolutely wonderful! Thank you!

Just like Grandma and grandpas house

We loved the house. Just as described. Actually there are 3 bathrooms. The treat basket is amazing. The yard is wonderful. I think my dogs are unhappy to be home. Lol. Would stay again. I do feel like duralogs or wood for the fire should be available year round.

Dogs had a blast!

Beautiful property. Perfect for our two dogs and two little ones. Plenty of space for us all to spread out. The house was clean and the owners were very nice and responsive. Highly recommended. Hope to return soon.

Great Getway Spot

Furamily getaway

We love this property! This is our second time visiting and it is super dog friendly and has all the amenities. There is excellent communication with our host throughout the process. We stayed in and enjoyed as much of the house and hot tub as we could in the short time we had. The pups had a fantastic time sniffing the yard during our getaway and we would love to try and make this an annual trip. Thank you so much, Chris for opening up your home for us.

Week of July 4th 2024 vacation

We stayed here from July 1 - 5 2024 and LOVED the place! It's close to Yosemite and Bass Lake which we enjoyed. This was not our first time at Bass Lake but definitely the best! Loved the pool and hot tub and the place was bigger than expected with all the amenities you could ask for! My dog enjoyed the huge yard as well. We are already planning our next visit next year and have recommended the place to friends and family. Krystine S

Oakhurst weekend

We came to visit family and the property was perfect! A large house with everything that we needed. A beautiful yard that was perfect for our pets. Loved the little extra things provided that made our stay exceptional.

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to the mountains with family and our pups! The pups had the best time and the yard and property were absolutely amazing and built with dogs in mind. We were so close to Yosemite and just a 10 minute drive to the shopping centers. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the home and would love to return and also squeeze in a day trip to Yosemite next time.

Fantastic home

Always have a great time here. We has snow this trip and watched from the hot tub. The grandkids (3 and 7) loved playing in the snow in the large fenced front yard. The fire in the fireplace made it cozy and warm after snow play. Always clean and the snack bowl is a bonus. Hosts are awesome. This is our 4th time at this property and can't wait to go back in summer to enjoy the pool

Wheelchair perfect and dog perfect!

This was the first time we stayed in a place that was truly wheelchair / paraplegic easy. The access was easy from both the kitchen door and the front door. The main bathroom had plenty of room for the chair by the toilet to turn and maneuver as well as a grab rail. The "half" bathroom actually has a step-in bath. The kitchen is very wide, enabling wheelchair access alongside other people already in there. The pictures don't do the space justice - the house is large and spacious, Also, the garden is large and fenced with mesh as well as rails, so perfect for dogs to run unleashed. We have a BMC and a Golden that just loved being able to romp around and explore. The front door entryway is tiled so a great place to stop and wipe off the dogs' feet. For us, this was the perfect balance of space for both humans and dogs and we'll be coming here again for sure!

What a wonderful vacation getaway. Beautiful home in a beautiful area. Close to town (10 min) Kitchen has everything you would need and then some. Master bedroom had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Hot tub was the perfect compliment after a long hike in Yosemite. Would highly recommend!

Great Place!

I think this is our 7th year staying here. I love the layout of the home and grounds, it gives everyone the space and togetherness wanted. The home is clean, kitchen well equipped, and the grounds are fenced making it safe for the dogs to run and exercise their noses. The pool is a great feature. Chris is responsive to any questions and so knowledgeable about the area. Thank you Chris & Jim for this wonderful space. I hope we can see you next year.

This property was beautiful and had the perfect location. Close enough to town but still in the forest. We get snow but not too much. Oakhurst is a family friendly town and welcomes travelers with open arms. Beautiful, easy drive to Yosemite or explore historic Hwy 49 with it's rich mining history.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Location, location, location! In the forest, but only 45 minutes from a city. We can still do a beach trip in one day as we are only 3.5 hours from Monterey Bay. We are right outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park, who can ask for more than that.
