Esmeralda Alpes tiene todo lo que desea para un retiro familiar en Big Bear Lake: vistas, jacuzzi, barbacoa, chimenea, futbolín y Le hemos mencionado la vista?  Además de que es sólo un corto viaje a la montaña del oso!

Situado en lo alto de las colinas con vistas al lago y las montañas, esta cabaña de planta inversa le da la bienvenida con ventanas de piso a techo, luz natural, pisos de madera y techos abovedados.  La sala de estar abierta y bien iluminada cuenta con una envoltura de largo extra alrededor de sofá, televisión de pantalla plana con barra de sonido, reproductor de DVD y capacidades en línea (no hay televisión por cable).  La chimenea de leña te mantendrá cálido y acogedor en las noches frías de invierno.  La cocina está abierta a la sala de estar para que no se pierda nada mientras cocina o hacer una taza de café.  Un cuarto de baño completo con bañera / ducha y lavadora y secadora apiladas está convenientemente situado en la planta principal.

El nivel superior de la cubierta posterior tiene vistas del lago, los árboles y las montañas.  Disfrutar de su tiempo de asado en la parrilla de propano o simplemente para relajarse en el aire fresco.

En la planta baja se encuentran los dos dormitorios.  El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio, vistas al lago, TV con reproductor de DVD y 3/4 baño.  El segundo dormitorio tiene un total sobre litera completa, TV con reproductor de DVD, puntos de vista y un futbolín.  Menor acceso a la cubierta está en la sala para que pueda salir de la bañera de hidromasaje.  Esta es la cabina es seguro que será un destino favorito de vacaciones de la familia!

Peaceful retreat!

We were celebrating a postponed birthday trip and needed a peaceful place to leave our stress behind. This was one of the best stays we have had. A view with no end, sunsets that left us in awe and a very comfortable couch, beds, jacuzzi with a view and a great neighborhood. We will definitely reserve here again!

The place was in a great location and nice

The place was welcoming and spacious. We had a few easily fixed issues and then this place will be a 5 star. During COVID we wish they would have taken the time to ensure proper disinfecting and cleaning, but that is easily fixed too. The hot tub did work and we were grateful for that. The views were gorgeous. The house was definitely built with guests in mind.

Relaxing inside and out

This was a great place to stay. The furniture was comfortable, the view out the back was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't use the grill, but it was a nice one. The hot tub was perfect, and the bathrooms were nicely done. The one downside was the floors could have been cleaner, but we looked at this from the perspective of parents with a crawler. All in all, it was an amazing property which we would love to stay at again.

Big Bear 11/12 stay

The instructions for the house were a little threatening. There was a monetary fine for every little infraction so it induced a little anxiety during our stay. Forget dishes, $25, unplug a tv cord $25, seemed a little over board. The hot tub cover was extremely hard to put back on once you took it all the way off. Needs hot tub cover stand.

Big Bear Get Away

Overall if you are going to stay in winter, I think would be wonderful. Summer, the porches are not kept up and covered with thick pollen and cobwebs. I had to clean outside furniture myself for us to even sit and enjoy the view. Furniture not that sturdy. Regardless of what the directions say about resetting modem and routers and giving smart TV a moment to warm up, the Wi-Fi and internet was down more than it worked so have something else to do at night time or a hotspot if you have to work while there. It does get really stuffy with no AC for sure in the evenings. Make sure you bring some coffee to get you through first morning. None offered. The inside is older and rustic but was clean for most part and beds were comfortable.

Nice cabin easy to walk to trails quiet and tidy

The grill was really dirty no broom to sweep the house. Needed one to sweep the deck because of the pine trees. Beautiful view to the lake, it was a warm weekend and could not open the doors due to not having screens.

Nice cabin but Heater did not work.

The heater did not work and was a real inconvenience. Maintenance could not fix it. He said that the blower was not working and service would need to come fix it but they would not be available till the next day. The whole house was freezing cold and was very uncomfortable at night. We were not happy about that and we would like to see if we could get some sort of compensation discount for our inconvenience being that we paid top money for our stay there.

Location was great. Not clean!

I love the location and the beautiful views of from the property but I was disappointed how the owners didn't take of the property. Visible spider web, dirty floors, dirty bathroom rugs (just replace them). I hope they would a better job for the next guest.

Beautiful views but wish it was cleaner and easier to check-in

The views were beautiful and quiet! I have never complained about any place I have stayed, but I feel cheated at the lack of upkeep. Check-in was a pain. We had to drive to their offices to fill out paperwork. I wish they would have sent the forms beforehand so I could complete them on a desktop computer. The place needed a deep cleaning: - Black fingerprints on all doors and kitchen cabinets - Floor mats washed after every guest's stay. -Wash the floors -Clean the spa - Spa cover needed to be replaced two years ago. There was not enough water in the spa. - Floors needed to be mopped. I was not able to walk without shoes on because I could feel the dirt on my feet. The sheets and towels were clean. The furniture was nice. The stove/Frig was clean. I'm not trying to be a jerk I just felt dirty and angry to pay too much good money (VRBO will not allow me to say the amount) to sleep in a dirty house. It took away from Relaxing!

Would stay again

The house was perfect for our small family, my young son and his friend loved the forest back yard. The view is wonderful and the space is cozy. We had issues with the heat, but the rental company was quick to respond. The hot tub was dirty and needed a cleaning, unfortunately I didn’t look notice until I tried to use it on our last day (or I would have told the company). Since I was the only one interested in using it, it wasn’t a big deal.

Overall a great place to stay but there’s room for improvement

Location and views for this place was perfection! However, I took it into my own hands to re-clean all knobs, table tops, and kitchen area just for my own comfort and a lot of what I cleaned was pretty dirty... a bit disappointed about that since the “cleaning fee” is quite a lot. Also, I think it would be great to say in the listing that there are no basic cooking necessities available such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, or filtered water. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time but I think it could’ve been even better with these improvements.

Escape from the heat

Just what we needed an escape to the cool mountain temperatures and clear mountain air. The cabin was perfect especially the hot tub. We will be back.. Mary & John
