An Authentic Trulli Experience

Ourselves & another couple stayed in this property for five nights in May. The property is very well located, being a 20 minute walk into Alberobello (not recommended for children on the narrow road) and was perfect for us. We could also walk to the local supermarket. It has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, one an en-suite. The larger bathroom had a washing machine. As this is a Trulli, neither of these are spacious but this is about experiencing this type of architecture. It had a small kitchen, dining area and a space for two people in a TV nook. The property was very clean. The outside kitchen/cabana was the real hit. This is a fantastic space for long pool side lunches ( unfortunately the weather wasn’t conducive for this) and for charcoal BBQ dinners. We enjoyed day trips to Matera, Ostuni, Martine Franca and Lecce. We loved staying here and dream about returning during better weather!

As anticipated personally, your review is very very important becouse it is the first one on Homeaway and for other guests will be very helpful to know how was your stay here and to have a confirm that there is a real hit which is the outdoor space, like showed in the photos. I really hope that you would decide one day to come back again in Puglia, perfect if it was during the summer, for enjoying BBQ dinners, pool area and gardens. We had an orrible May month for the weather but I'm so proud of my region and it is nice to read that you lived a lovely stay in all area and a 5 stars experiance at Trullo Atena! Just returned from a week at this lovely trullo. Had a very enjoyable stay, despite some mixed weather. The villa was very comfortable for our group of 6 adults. It was situated in a private location.The garden is beautiful, and we loved the outdoor kitchen area, which we used a lot. Some of us made use of the bicycles.We also enjoyed the Turkish steam room for an hour.As for Puglia Paradise we found them to be a brilliant company-I would say the best we have experienced in 15 years of villa rental. Massimo was great with pre-visit emails, Grazia and Leandro were so helpful, especially with a couple of issues that arose because of some extreme weather conditions that occurred midweek. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, kind regards, Lynda

Wir haben im Juli/August 2019 zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Trullo Atena verbracht. Das Haus, der Außenbereich mit dem liebevoll angelegten Garten, dem Pool, der Außenküche und der vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der Innenbereich ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gut aufgeteilt und verfügt sogar über ein Dampfbad (das wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben), Klimaanlagen in jedem Raum, 3 Schlafzimmern, ein Bad und ein Ensuite Badezimmer, sowie natürlich einer Küche, ein Essbereich und eine Fernsehecke. Das Haus ist gesichert durch eine Alarmanlage, darüber hinaus gibt es zwei Tore, die das Grundstück verschließen. Der Garten und der Pool werden mehrfach in der Woche gepflegt bzw kontrolliert, jedoch früh morgens, so dass man nicht gestört wird oder nach Absprache. Am Abend ist der Außenbereich wunderschön beleuchtet. Fußläufig sind 2 Restaurants zu erreichen (Gli Ulivi und Fidelio), die wir mehrfach besucht haben, da diese unserer Meinung nach auch die besten vor Ort waren. Das Trullo liegt zentral, um die wunderschöne Umgebung zu erkunden und auch sehr ruhig, wenn man die Ruhe genießen möchte. Die Betreuung vor Ort von Grazia war perfekt: wir wurden herzlich vor Ort begrüßt, haben viele Informationen über die Möglichkeiten bzgl. Restaurants, Ausflüge etc erhalten und konnten uns jederzeit an sie wenden. Wir können Trullo Atena ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen und werden mit Sicherheit noch einmal wiederkommen. Apulien ist wunderschön und im Trullo Atena umso schöner, entspannender und entschleunigender. Wir waren mit 2 Kindern dort (4 und 6 Jahre) und auch die beiden hatten einen tollen Urlaub!

O meglio, ancor più fornita!! Il personale poi, la vera stella in più a questa meravigliosa struttura! Sempre presente e disponibile per qualsiasi necessità degli ospiti! Che aggiungere!! Antonella and the Puglia Paradise staff were helpful in preparing us for the trip, suggesting things to do, and making reservations. Would highly recommend the entire experience.

Our stay at Trullo Atena was absolutely perfect. The grounds are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen, the pool was the perfect temperature, and the outdoor kitchen was wonderful. The interior of the home was perfectly clean, and had plenty of room for 3 couples. The turkish bath was an added bonus. Antonella was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She booked us restaurant reservations, beach club reservations, and arranged for a private chef and yoga teacher to come to the Trullo. I will definitely be using Puglia Paradise again.

The four of us stayed for a week in trulo Atena. It was an amazing week. After a warm welcome by Grazia we settled in the beautiful trulo. Everything you need is there, and more, and the house and surroundings are just stunning. We loved the area and visited a lot of places. Grazia was always just one whatsapp message away to answer our questions and make good suggestion for restaurants, I can especially recommend Favola in Tavola in Alberobello. I stayed in Trullo Atena with my wife in July. Staying in a Trullo in itself is an experience, but Trullo Atena is something you will never forget. The villa is simply fantastic in all its aspects: the comforts, the pool, the accessories, the exterior, the finishings, the design. It was recently renovated with much taste and is equipped with air conditioning, which is quite rare in Trulli. Outside the garden is well maintained with plants, olive trees and lawn. The octagonal patio has an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue and is bordered by curtains and sofas where my wife and I had a beautiful aperitif at sunset after a swim in the pool. The service of Grazia and all Puglia Paradise team was impeccable from the booking until check-out. It is very hard to find such efficient and professional agencies. They responded quickly to our every request and were ready to give us advice on restaurants and more. Thanks again! It was one of the most beautiful stays of our life.

We are spending seven months in IT to enable us to see as much of this beautiful country as we possibly can. My wife found the Puglia Paradise site and after a lot of consideration on the properties available we settled on Trullo Atena. How clever we were. This is a sublime property just on the outskirts of Alberobello. It is a fully renovated 3 bedroom- 2 bathroom property, is fully airconditioned and even has its own turkish bath. The decor is modern and chic and it is thoroughly comfortable for 5- 6 people. But the most special part of this 3.5ha property was the outdoor pavilion. Architecturally designed, this pavilion has a full kitchen, barbecue, icemaker, refrigerator, dining table for 8 and beautiful lounge areas. We spent most of our time out here. It caught the cooling sea breezes coming up the valley and was just a special place to relax and be. I often started here at 7am to do some teleconferences to AU. We had lunch here beside the pool and when we stayed in for dinner al

Absolutely amazing property!

Stunning, amazing, beautiful property! We cannot say enough good things about this trullo. We stayed for five nights and did not want to leave. The inside is cosy and beautifully decorated. The outside is the best! An immaculate garden with lavender and bees and a nice pool. So much space in the outside area and everything you will need, down to the juicer and ice cube maker. Grazia, our contact with the property management company, was very welcoming and helpful. She was also available for tips and recommendations and booked our dinner reservations for us as she said we would get better tables if she made the booking. We can not find anything to fault this property and if you get the chance to stay here do not hesistate!

Absolutely amazing property! Stunning, amazing, beautiful property! We cannot say enough good things about this trullo. We stayed for five nights and did not want to leave. The inside is cosy and beautifully decorated. The outside is the best! An immaculate garden with lavender and bees and a nice pool. So much space in the outside area and everything you will need, down to the juicer and ice cube maker. Grazia, our contact with the property management company, was very welcoming and helpful. She was also available for tips and recommendations and booked our dinner reservations for us as she said we would get better tables if she made the booking. We can not find anything to fault this property and if you get the chance to stay here do not hesistate!

An Authentic Trulli Experience. Ourselves & another couple stayed in this property for five nights in May. The property is very well located, being a 20 minute walk into Alberobello (not recommended for children on the narrow road) and was perfect for us. We could also walk to the local supermarket. It has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, one an en-suite. The larger bathroom had a washing machine. As this is a Trulli, neither of these are spacious but this is about experiencing this type of architecture. It had a small kitchen, dining area and a space for two people in a TV nook. The property was very clean. The outside kitchen/cabana was the real hit. This is a fantastic space for long pool side lunches ( unfortunately the weather wasn’t conducive for this) and for charcoal BBQ dinners. We enjoyed day trips to Matera, Ostuni, Martine Franca and Lecce. We loved staying here and dream about returning during better weather!

You want to travel to Puglia? If you want to live the true experience, you should choose a trullo to stay. Trullo is a traditional house with a conical roof which is specific to the Itria Valley. Alberobello -UNESCO World Heritage site- is probably the best location to visit Puglia as you can literally visit the whole region from there. We spent a wonderful week in Trullo Atena and the place is exactly as shown on the photos. It's really clean, quiet, it includes a Turkish bath -perfect installation to relax after a walking day outside-, the garden is huge and you can relax with super comfortable long chairs. Moreover, our hosts (Massimo and Grazia) were amazing! They deliver a true valuable concierge service, extremely reactive, they can book local good restaurants for you (to avoid touristic ones), share recommandations on the best spots to visit, etc.. Puglia Atena was simply fantastic - everything was just perfect. The cosy villa was ideal for us with everything we needed. It truly was a home away from home. The location is great as the grocery store and excellent restaurants are within walking distance. A true treat for the children was the bicycles. Massimo would go out of his way to make our stay comfortable and extra special. Would definitely recommend.
