Literalmente a una milla por encima de Blue Ridge Parkway @ 4,000 pies, esta casa recientemente rediseñada cuenta con 2 King en-suites con una cocina gourmet de chef y una gran terraza cubierta para disfrutar a fondo de las espectaculares vistas y un entorno tranquilo. ¡Todo en nuestra casa es completamente nuevo! Rodeado de tierras forestales estatales no desarrolladas, este es realmente un lugar tranquilo con excelentes restaurantes, tiendas exclusivas, cascadas espectaculares, trekking trekking, cabalgatas y pesca de truchas en las cercanías.

En nuestra experiencia, no hay nada peor que presentarse en su alquiler para descubrir que es menos de lo que esperaba y comenzar sus vacaciones decepcionado. Diseñamos y amueblamos esta casa para nuestra familia y con nuestros altos estándares, ¡NO te decepcionará!

The Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway!We spent Thanksgiving week at this cabin in Spruce Pine, NC, and it was absolutely perfect. The home was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully set up for relaxation — warm lighting, thoughtful touches, and everything we needed for cooking, gathering, and spending time together. The kitchen was well equipped, which made preparing Thanksgiving dinner so easy, and the living area was the perfect place to curl up by the fire after a long day.The views were stunning — peaceful mountain scenery, crisp air, and that quiet stillness you only get in the Blue Ridge. We loved sipping coffee on the porch in the mornings and taking little drives into nearby Little Switzerland and downtown Spruce Pine. It felt close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel like a true retreat.The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and truly felt like home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return in any season. If you’re looking for a warm, relaxing place to unwind in the mountains, this is it. Highly recommend!

This was our 1st time renting a home and it was such a positive experience that we will do it again. The home is lovely and completely stocked. It is very well decorated and very clean! 1 mile gravel road driving up a mountain at 10 - 15 mph to nice, clean, well furnished mountain home. Plan shopping ahead of time or drive 15 minutes to Walmart or longer to neighboring towns. Other local grocery stores closed, damaged from Helen. Dress for being on a mountain, it gets cold quickly. Drive to hiking trails, no hiking trail directly from rental. Start at the Spruce Pine Museum of North Carolina Minerals with 300 area mineral varieties on display. Museum also has a tourist information center informing you of a variety of attractions and nearby open trails/roads. People are very friendly and resilient, still recovering from Helen. Pick apples at 100 year old orchard and learn about Revolutionary War fighters on their way to the Battle of Kings Mountain. Visit Little Switzerland. Take your time driving 35 mph and enjoy 12 miles stretch with 200 curves and tunnels. Lots of butterflies and good restaurants. Rental requires large damage deposit or rental insurance. Be prepared for an amazing adventure.

We enjoyed the cabin, it was very clean and updated! We were short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock, which we visited while staying here. The front porch has a nice view of the mountains. Would definitely book again!

beyond tranquility

The cabin is everything it says it is and then some. It is well equipped and maintained with care. I booked it specifically because of the views from the front porch. The sunrise and sunset were beyond magnificent. Sipping coffee early in the morning with the Blue Ridge mountains sprawling in the background was exactly what we needed. The host is very responsive. I had all my questions answered within an hour or so. We will most likely book this cabin again.

Work trip

Stayed in this beautiful home as I’m working nearby at the hospital. Everything is clean and the place is fully stocked. Can’t say enough about the owner Bill. He follows up to make sure everything is great and when the power went out he cane up to cut down trees and make sure it was taken care of promptly! And the view is amazing:)

We are a very active family who love the outdoors and Blue Ridge Mountains especially. We take full advantage of the wonderful mountains that surround us and use this home a lot. But, with kids, we juggle a lot of priorities and can't always use it. So we open our home for others to enjoy.

We have rented cabins throughout the NC mountains but always found it hard to find ones that met our standards and were close to exciting outdoor options. When we visited the Spruce Pine/Little Switzerland area, we fell in love. It's also very rare to find a flat lot this high up in the mountains coupled with world-class views like this home has. We've designed this home to meet our exacting standards!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Flat lot with a ranch style home makes for very easy and convenient living. The two king en-suite bedrooms are on either end of the house giving great privacy. In between the two bedrooms is the completely open living/dining/kitchen space. In the summer, enjoy fresh blueberries from our 20 mature blueberry bushes.
