Este / 2 baños casa de 3 dormitorios se encuentra en la sección más tranquila del río Oconaluftee. Con 2 muelles privados, kayak y canoa son formas sencillas de acceso al río. Asegúrese de llevar una caña de pescar! Pequeñas embarcaciones con motores de arrastre, kayaks, canoas y tubos son bienvenidos! No remolques de embarcaciones o grandes embarcaciones motorizadas! Si no quieres pescar, solo ve a nadar.

Very nice cabin served our family trip purpose to stay near by Bryson City polar express train and bring home Christmas trees entirely. Would be a great spring/summer stay to trout fish tube and explore. Host was wonderful.

Very nice accommodations. Exceeded our expectations! Our trip was fairly short and the location was perfect to travel in and out of town for fishing, a visit to the casino and a ride over to the Visitors Center to see the elk, etc. Enjoyed seeing the otters in the river at the house. This home is perfect for 3 adult couples. Would love to stay here again! Host was very nice and communication was great!

Information about the House-The house was very clean and the details on decorating it did not go unnoticed. It is larger than what it looks like in the pictures. It had everything we needed for our 8-night stay. The host checked in on us many times to make sure we had everything we needed and even shared some known fishing spots since we were there to trout fish. The host and the house were perfect, and it felt like home for our vacation. You are very close to Town and the town has lots of shopping. For groceries we went to Walmart in Sylva which is about a half hour away. If you are coming to Cherokee to fish for trout the tribal waters do stock twice a week and there are many places to fish along the sides of the road on the Oconaluftee river. You do need to get a map and make sure you are fishing in the correct spots. There are spots you can only fly fish and not keep the trout, and not all of these are marked very well. There are many Elk everywhere and it was amazing to see them up close. Check out the Oconaluftee trail head we had a family walk right in front of us while we were fishing. We saw an Otter in the river in the back of the house, and it was very peaceful sitting on the deck. You have to have a North Carolina or Tennessee fishing license if you are not fishing in the Tribal waters and those sections are not stocked as often. I would recommend this house to anyone we enjoyed our stay thank you for letting us use your home. Happy fishing:)

What a relaxing home to spend a week. Super clean and check in was easy as the owner made sure we were all set and didn't need anything. The river was beautiful. Water temps were a little warm so I found rapids up the road and caught lots of trout three days in a row. Watched elk at the smokey mountain welcome center in the evenings. Tubing is fun down the river as well. This house is close to absolutely everything. Jenkins store is a half mile away and offers some quick fried chicken and other take out food. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet escape to the mountains.

Perfect spot

We’ve stayed here multiple times now. It’s a fantastic location. Close to downtown but also secluded and tranquil for swimming and fishing. We love this spot! Day is very accommodating and responsive.

Time to escape from the real world

This was about spending time with family and getting away from our everyday lives. The house was everything I had read in the reviews. The driveway down to the property is a little step but we had an all wheel vehicle so it didn’t affect us.This was one of the cleanest rental houses I have rented before, one of my favorite parts was sitting on the front porch on the rocking chair just listening to nature, I also saw an otter up close. We fished a bit, not much luck there but it was so beautiful I didn’t mind. I only wished there were more time to stay at the property, but it was time to go back to the real world.

Very relaxing

We would recommend this place for a for a very relaxing vacation time. Neat and clean. The front porch was the place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the river in front of the place.
