Nuestra maravillosa casa de doble maestro es un paraíso de vacaciones. Situado en un tranquilo callejón sin salida, nuestra casa ofrece un rápido acceso a puerto de Charlotte y el Golfo de México. Nuestro muelle es un lugar maravilloso para amarrar su barco o el pescado en el canal limpio, profundo. Relajarse y disfrutar de la piscina climatizada en la comodidad y la protección de nuestro gran tamaño Lanai con orientación al sur. Ambas habitaciones tienen grandes ventanales con vistas al canal, un sentimiento abierto y aireado y puertas corredizas de vidrio que dan a la sala de la Florida. La casa está completamente equipada con todo lo necesario, así que traiga ropa y comida.

Lovely House on the Water

This house had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Very comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen. The heated pool was awesome and husband really enjoyed fishing on the dock.

Great little getaway

Great 2 BR Home with Pool

This property was a great stay fo us in Punta Gorda Isles. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed, and the 2 baths were great for us. The kitchen was well equipped and very convenient to cook meals in. My husband loves lap swimming and the pool was perfect for that. The views through the back windows of the canal make the patio and pool area a very relaxing place to spend time.

Worked great for us.

The owner had floaties for the pool, two fishing poles which we requested, and the dock for fishing was close which was a priority for us. We certainly hope to go back to this property in the future.

Nice house.. very roomy.. check in super smooth.. property owner super nice and very responsive.. nice location.. quiet neighborhood.. had everything we needed for our stay.. laundry on premises means I could have pack a lot less clothes.. garage kept vehicle is great.. Wanda offered us extra days for the inconvenience of Hurricane Helene because she had no immediate booking behind ours... we couldn’t take advantage of her kindness but appreciated the offer! Overall it was a very nice getaway!

Great Experience

This was a great place to stay. It was exactly as advertised, and I loved the location. Close to shopping / restaurants / parks but in a quiet residential neighborhood. House needs a little attention but I'm sure the owner (who was very responsive) will update when they are in the area. The pool was perfect. I rent a home with a private pool each year and the pool at this property has been my favorite so far. Hope to return within the next year. Thank you Wanda for a wonderful experience.

Perfect Holiday

Home was as advertised. Great pool area facing south on a canal. We walked to Fisherman’s village a couple times. Neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Wanda is quick to respond to any inquires or questions. The TV in the bedroom was not working when we arrived and two days later Amazon delivered a new Smart TV. We would not hesitate booking again. Thank you Wanda.

Stay cool by the pool.

Our draw to this property was the heated pool particularly since we visited in January. The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Being on the canal reinforced the fact you were in Florida. We had a cold snap while we were there and the furnace was not working. We reported this by email to Wanda and a contractor was there within a couple of hours. We were very happy with the response time. The kitchen is not featured in the information. It is a small galley style kitchen but well appointed. The outdoor/pool furniture was very nice with more than adequate seating. My recommendation to make the pool area more usable would be to have some tables and more plastic or unbreakable drink and dishware.

Our favorite Florida place

My husband and I have come to Florida for Christmas week several times now. We usually stayed in a condo, but this time decided to rent a house. The last time we came, we stayed on Sanibel, which during Christmas week is anything but peaceful--traffic jams and crowds was the norm. We flew in on Allegiant to Punta Gorda, and drove about an hour to Sanibel, so we decided this time to just find a place right in Punta Gorda. This house is 15 minutes from the airport, on a quiet street perfect for walking, with a nice park you can walk . It was a little musty-smelling when we first went in, but we never noticed this after that. I guess it had probably been closed up for a while. The decor was definitely dated but that didn't bother us. It was so spacious and comfortable; the bed was really comfy and the sheets were nice and smooth; and the furniture was much more substantial than the usual condo furniture. The living room sofa and big-screen TV were great! The kitchen was small, perfect for "playing house" for a week, and well stocked. It had everything we needed for eating in all week, including a dishwasher. I loved being able to go out and pick a lemon from the tree by the canal for my cooking. (They didn't look like much, kind of brown, but they were huge and very juicy.) Toward the end of the week we found a jigsaw puzzle in the front closet, and laid it out on the dining room table. It was too late for us to finish it, but that kept us occupied for quite a few hours. We watched videos, explored nature spots like the Everglades and Alligator Creek Preserve , swam in the pool in the mornings, walked around the neighborhood and to the park, and just enjoyed relaxing and having peace and quiet. We loved having a garage with a remote, and laundry facilities so we could pack light. If the weather forecast was good, I was thinking next time we could probably do without carrying on a bag, since we wore 3 things, washed them and wore them again, and didn't wear 2/3 of the stuff we brought (as usual)! It didn't hurt that we had great weather, highs in the 80's and lows in the 60's, and lots of sunshine. Just what we needed for the winter doldrums! We hope to return some time. Wanda was very helpful and responsive. There was some glitch on the VRBO website which caused problems when I was trying to pay, but we got it worked out and Wanda assured us that our reservation was not in jeopardy. Any time I sent her a message she responded very quickly.

Paradise

The property was like a piece of paradise. The view was amazing. We didn't really stay in the house much on our trip as we were either out site seeing, at a wedding or in the backyard enjoying the pool and view. After a busy day the bed was super comfy and helped to send us off to dream land quickly. Would highly recommend this property. The owner was also very responsive to any messages and extremely friendly and helpful.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

The home made our trip more enjoyable. The pool and two master suites are wonderful additions to make everyone more comfortable. The only issue we had was the A/C it could not cool off the entire house. One of my girls slept in the couch because two in the bed and room the rooms warm temp was too much for her. I did the let the owner know so hopefully that is resolved for the next person. The home is well stocked with the essentials and the view is beautiful!
