Week of July 4th Family Vacation

Julie’s house was wonderful! Fantastic, charming property, beautiful views of the lake. Tidy home with nice kitchen and living room should fit most families needs, she has a wonderful fire pit for evenings watching the lake. Communication with Julie was easy and attentive. She gave nice recommendations for the area. Would recommend checking out the local state parks as they were exceptional managed!

A gorgeous little respite

The property is amazing - a beautiful spot right on Lake Michigan with gorgeous sunrises and calming waves. The house itself is a grand specimen of mid-century lake houses and I'm jealous of the owner! Julie obviously loves her home and I'm so glad she shared it with us.

The best location and best views

My family really appreciated the quiet location and being steps away from the beach. The deck is perfect for those who want to be on the beach but not in the sand. The house offers water views from 5 rooms- impressive for a one story home.The layout of the home is really nice for connecting with others yet offers space too: two living rooms, large kitchen for multiple cooks, a delightful dining room, and two full baths. The home is tastefully adorned reflecting its mid century architecture.Thank you Julie for a lovely stay!

Treasure on the Beach

We were booked to go to Florida, but due to Hurricane Milton had to book a new vacation fast. We will never regret a slice of Paradise on the Lake. Thank you Julie for sharing this treasure.

Enjoy your time on Lake Michigan

Julie’s place was fun, relaxing and a wonderful hideaway for a birthday. Really cool furniture and fully supplied kitchen for fun at the house. Or plenty of nice restaurants in nearby Sheboygan. Enjoy the deck directly on the beach with awesome sunrises and beautiful late night star gazing.

Stunning home on quiet private lot in paradise

This home on a sandy walk-out beach is one of the cleanest, ship-shape properties I’ve ever stayed at. This mid-century style retreat has amazing views with walls of glass on the east (lake) south (sunny) sides with the spare, tasteful decor (no cottage kitsch). The deck gets sun all day and the beach fire pit is sheltered and inviting. This is a very private beach with no other rentals — or raucous parties— nearby. Serene and peaceful yet 5 minutes from town and groceries. The lawn is lush and perfect for net games. We had a lovely time in a little bit of paradise to recharge our batteries and enjoy nature, the lake, the woods and solitude. Lake Michigan is amazingly warm this time of year. And the beach is pure sand as far out as you can go. I brought my own SUP and had a glorious time on the water, then cocktails around the fire pit. We will definitely be back! This is a gem.

Third Coast getaway

Julie's house is meticulously appointed and impeccably clean. The mid-century furnishings make the house pop and are also comfortable for reading a book or watching tv. But the most special thing about this house is the wall of windows that invite your view to the water every time you're in the back half of the home. The weather wasn't great while we were there this October and still that made very little difference to how well we enjoyed this stay. It was just warm enough to bundle up and sit out on the back deck reading a book and listening to the sound of the waves. The small beach and constant waves mixed with the scarcity of people and just the occasional dog or parade of seagulls helps make this house a treasure. For two of us there was extra room while the point of our few days away was quality time together. There's a nice big kitchen and plenty of separate spaces to sit in, two full bathrooms and three comfortable bedrooms. You mostly can't see the water from the front of the house and the yard is full of pines and the green lawn. Steps down from the house in the back towards the water are easy to navigate and there are plenty of doors and windows that open and slide with screen doors to keep out anything unwanted. This was exactly the break I needed and I'm very grateful to have spent my time in this lovely place. We hope that it becomes a regular spot for us.

Beautiful home with beautiful beach

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived to a clean home with a wonderful deck to watch the sunrise. Spent a lot of hours relaxing and watching the lake. Few short steps and you are on the beach. Exactly what we were hoping for. Julie was very responsive to any of our questions and very easy to work with. We hope to return!

Amazing lake house!!

This property is just wonderful. The house itself is perfect and has direct access to the beach and Lake Michigan. It has lovely large windows where you can see the sunrise over the lake. We spent a lot of time just watching the lake. The house is setup very tastefully and elegant and provided for a very relaxing weekend getaway. Julie is also very responsive and accommodated our need to adjust our booking by a day since we had to leave earlier to travel out of state. We would have loved to stay longer!! Will definitely come again!

Another great stay on a great lake!

This special MCM property with a fabulous view is one of our favorite places to stay. It is a lovely refuge of quiet space and is not full of unnecessary "decor". The layout of the home including 2 porches allow everyone to get peace and private time as needed. This year the beach was very present and water warm enough to swim in. Got some swimming and biking in this year, many beach walks, and visited Oostburg's bakery, Sheboygan river walk, and shops and breweries around town. We can't wait to stay here again. Thanks for being a great host Julie!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had a truly beautiful time in this lovely home with family. The house and views are just as pictured in the photos- even better, which is rare! Sweeping Lake Michigan view

Wonderful lakefront property with sand beach frontage including 5 miles of walkable beach. Picture windows provided a great view of crashing waves or serene water, depending on the mood & personality of the lake that day. Great for watching the lake during a thunderstorm. Deck was perfect for relaxing & reading & eating g dinner by the water. Had a wonderful, relaxing week here.

This is a diamond in the rough find. 2 hours north of Chicago, 30 minutes north of Milwaukee and you are in paradise. Private, quiet place to kick back and relax. The lake is absolutely beautiful and right off the deck. You will enjoy a beautiful natural view from every room. Nighttime is super special. Look up and you will see stars like never before. If you are lucky enough to land on the full moon, consider yourself VERY lucky. It is a sight to behold. This is not a "cottage" it is a year-round comfortable home for your family to enjoy.

Private home on beautiful Lake Michigan. 3 level deck right on the water. No cliff, no steep stairs to get to the water. Beautiful private yard with huge cedar trees that block the neighbors to the north and the south. My home is a short 30 minutes to Milwaukee, and only 15 minutes to Kohler and Terri Andre Park to the north. If you are looking for "action" this is not the home for you. If you are looking to chill and relax you have picked the perfect home.
