El complejo rural de Villa il Castellaccio, una vez una granja en pleno funcionamiento, se encuentra en una hermosa posición panorámica en el corazón de Chianti, entre Florencia, Siena y Arezzo. Los apartamentos, todos recientemente reconstruidos a partir de los edificios agrícolas originales, están amueblados con estilo y comodidad con todas las comodidades modernas. Todos tienen sus propias entradas en diferentes lados del complejo, lo que le da a cada uno una sensación de privacidad. Comparten una gran terraza con zona de barbacoa, jardines y la piscina principal, pero a menudo parecerá que son los únicos huéspedes, ¡siempre es tan tranquilo y silencioso!

Castellaccio 2, capacidad para 5 personas, en él encontrará: una sala de estar con chimenea, comedor y amplia cocina totalmente equipada, 1 habitación doble con baño en suite y ducha, 1 habitación doble con baño en suite y ducha, Un baño adicional con WC.
Sobre la sala de estar, hay un pequeño estudio tipo loft abierto con una cama individual.
El apartamento tiene un porche privado al aire libre con una mesa de comedor y sillas.

Incluido en el precio: Toda la ropa de casa por semana, Wi-Fi, electricidad, agua caliente, gas para cocinar, 1 eventual cuna bajo petición, estacionamiento.

Wonderful time in Chianti

We spent a week at Villa il Castellaccio and had a wonderful time. The apartment was large and nicely setup. The whole Villa grounds are great, with beautiful views, and the swimming pool was very refreshing after touring around in the hot weather. The location was very good for several day trips to Florence, Siena, and even the Cinque Terre. Leonardo was a wonderful host. Looking forward to the next opportunity to stay there.

Bella Vista! Loved it here!

Our stay at this lovely Tuscan Villa couldn't have been more perfect. The home was spacious and cozy at the same time. Ours had three bathrooms and two bedrooms. Our bed was very comfortable and the owners made sure there were extra blankets for the cool spring evenings. The location was excellent... we were able to take many day trips that were just an hour or two away. Sienna, Pisa, Lucca, Florence all so beautiful... but nice to end the day at our villa and a little piece of heaven! Leonard is such a wonderful host - he made sure our stay was just right and referred us to several local restaurants that were amazing! He also arranged a fabulous cooking lesson for us right in our own kitchen - we learned how to make several popular Tuscan dishes that I'm now proud to say that I can make! I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Chianti area - oh, and bonus, they have great wine and olive oil made right here and is stocked in your room - very reasonable prices! I miss it already... Grazie Leonardo! We will tell all our friends to visit when they are in Italy and we hope to be back ourselves! Wish I could give you 10 Stars!

Heerlijk rustige en ruime accommodatie in een prachtige omgeving

We hebben genoten van deze mooie ruime vakantiewoning, met een heerlijk zwembad (bijna privé). De omgeving is prachtig en rustig. Op ca een kwartier rijden ligt een grote supermarkt, en andere winkels en restaurants. We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de host Leonardo, die ook zeer geregeld aanwezig is op het terrein, en dus ook tijdens het verblijf makkelijk toegankelijk is. Er is geen airco in de woning. Gelukkig hadden twee slaapkamers horren voor de ramen, dus zetten we die 's nachts open voor enige verkoeling.

You should book this one!

Beautiful spot in Tuscan hills. Leonardo was friendly and very helpful and his villa was perfect for our family. We travelled with 3 children ages 9,7,5 and we al loved our week here! Pool is divine and location stunning. Supermarket close by as is train station and local eateries. We had the most wonderful time and intend on going back one day as there is so much to do in the surrounding area. Thank you Leonardo what a gem of a place you have !

Beautiful villa

Leonardo was a wonderful host, and very helpful in providing dining recommendations and scheduling an excellent Chianti wine tour for us. The villa was immaculate and spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. Wish we had time to enjoy the pool more, so inviting. We definitely needed the car we rented to get around.

Best villa we've ever stayed in

We had a super time in Castellaccio 3! The peaceful apartments are set in the most idyllic location with stunning hillside views. The pool is huge; surrounded by olive groves and as you swim you are surrounded by views of the Tuscan hills. The apartment was amazing. Spacious and well equipped with high ceilings that kept it cool despite unseasonally high temperatures of 40 degrees on a couple of days. You're well located to see the famous Chianti towns; Greve, Radda and Castellina plus San Gimignano (beautiful) and Siena. Huge Co-op 15 mins away in Figline Valdarno. Also in Figline is a station with 25mins fast trains to Florence - perfect! Leonardo is delightful and a fount of local knowledge. He's happy to book restaurants, advise on itineraries, pre-book museums. Cannot recommend enough. A Tuscan idyll!

Beleef de Chianti op z'n mooist!

Villa il Castellaccio is een prachtige locatie midden tussen de wijn- en olijfgaarden. Het huis was goed schoongemaakt en bood alle comfort. De villa wordt omgeven door een mooi terrein met een goed onderhouden zwembad. Het was een perfecte uitvalbasis om de Chianti streek goed te verkennen. In Lucolena is een klein winkeltje met genoeg keus voor ontbijt en dergelijke. Grote boodschappen doe je bij de Coop in Figline. Leonardo is een zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke gastheer, die voor een Italiaan uitstekend engels spreekt. Ook de Chianti-wijn die zijn familie maakt, is zeer aan te bevelen.

Lovely villa in great location

The villa and apartments are very well equipped and in a lovely location well placed for exploring the area including Florence and Chianti. Leonardo was an excellent host and looked after us well. We enjoyed the wine tasting tour and learning about the history of his family and all about how he makes wine. There is a pizza oven and barbecue area for guests to use which was great fun.

Amazing!

This is a hidden Gem! If you are in the area - it is an ideal location. Beautiful scenery, spacious villas & friendly staff. We only spent three days here, two couples and a single. It was perfect. So relaxing and peaceful. Leonardo is passionate, friendly and very helpful host. It is close to a small township, which you can get all you need. Restaurants are within driving distance, but the facilities are perfect to cook after a long day. Its a must to try Leonardo;s wine as it is the true passion of the area. We look forward to returning one day soon.

Heaven On Earth!

The most perfect villa ever...beautiful beyond words. Description of property was accurate, but it is even more beautiful in person. So peaceful to be nestled in the vineyards of Chianti. Tens days were not enough, I dream of going back! Leonardo, thank you for creating such a lovely vacation spot and especially for making it accessible for someone who uses a wheelchair. We couldn't give a higher recommendation...put this one on your bucket list!

Spacious, peaceful, comfortable accom in Chianti

This beautiful accommodation in Chianti exceeded our expectations - our family of 2 adults and 2 small children were spaciously and comfortably welcomed into this well-equipped apartment overlooking a peaceful valley. We stayed in apartment no. 3, which has a large sized, private, covered outdoor eating area where we spent the evenings relaxing with wine whilst our kids slept off the excitements of the day. Its a 15-minute drive via windey country roads from Greve. The owner Leonardo was very friendly, attentive, and speaks excellent english. This is a well-organised villa and we would not hesitate to recommend or return again : )

Perfect

We've been in Tuscany before but were not prepared for the serene beauty that engulfs you when in Castellaccio. The gorgeous vineyard views and the silence broken only by the muffled bells of the tiny church in Lucolena make you feel like you are alone in this beautiful place. And yet you can easily reach Florence, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano and even Assisi. After busy and hot trips during the day we enjoyed big and clean pool and pleasant breezy evenings on our private patio. Excellent supermarket is 15 minutes away, as well as few local stores for basic necessities that are even closer. Restaurants with great food, gorgeous views. Vineyards and wineries everywhere... Apartment is very tastefully decorated, big, very clean and bathroom stocked with toiletries. Grounds nicely maintained. Leonardo who speaks excellent English is very charming and endlessly helpful. You feel at every step that owners are truly trying to please you. We are family of three from the US and we stayed in Castellaccio 4 for two weeks. We can't wait to go back.

Tuscan Gem

We stayed in Castellacio 2 and enjoyed every minute. The appartment was even nicer than we anticipated. The location is wonderful as a base to explore Chianti and the rest of Tuscany.. Leonardo was so helpful and nice. The whole experience was terrific and we are looking forward to another visit.
