The near to freezing underground river Chidro, close to San Pietro, emerges at 200 meters from the sea, where offshore, its’ possible to admire, for the diving enthusiasts, the cargo of a Roman ship sunk around the third century AD. and is one of the many examples of the pure water springs of the Puglia coastline. Another famous spot is Porto Selvaggio, further South.
