The Villa is located in a dominant position over the picturesque town of Calci (reachable in less than 5 minutes on foot), surrounded by the centuries-old olive trees of our farm. The Villa is completely independent, all rooms have a private bathroom, there is a large kitchen and a beautiful living room with fireplace, as well as a large garden and a private, panoramic swimming pool. The wi-fi is free. THE POOL IS OPEN FROM THE MIDDLE OF MAY TO THE LAST SATURDAY OF SEPTEMBER. THE POOL IS FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE GUESTS OF THE HOUSE AND USE IS NOT ALLOWED BY OTHER PEOPLE OUTSIDE THOSE STAYING IN THE HOUSE. Pisa can be reached in about 10 minutes. Lucca in about 20 min. Florence in about 50 min. 2 km away is the Certosa di Calci, where you can visit the Natural History Museum and the beautiful interiors of the convent. IN THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST WE RENT ONLY FOR WEEKLY OR MULTIPLE WEEK PERIODS FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. FREE WI-FI.

Fabulous stay at Villa Oleandro

The property was as described and has the most beautiful view of the local village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Thommaso was a great host. We were very comfortable and as a family of 4 adults ,appreciated the 3 bathrooms. The road up to the property was initially a bit daunting but it is well built and maintained and proved brilliant in wet weather.We were all sad to leave.

family holiday

the location is perfect: very quiet and with very nice view. the house is clean but very basic, considering beds, bathrooms and kitchenequipment. Bring your own towels and toiletpaper, since1 of each is not enough for a whole week. overall: considering the high price we expected more luxury.

Spacious villa in a lovely and convenient location

The secluded location of Villa Oleandro in a hillside olive grove belies its convenience for the facilities of Calci which are just a short walk away. The smallish swimming pool is nonetheless delightful and has a magnificent panorama of the hillsides above Calci and Pisa in the far distance - it is possible to discern the Duomo and Leaning Tower. The villa is more spacious than we had imagined and everything worked. Tommaso is a charming, cheerful and responsive host who gave great recommendations for restaurants and beaches. The beds could have been more comfortable but that is a small point and did not detract from a great stay.

Calci Italy - our stay at Villa Oleandro

We rented villa Oleandro for 3 weeks. The photos don't do the house justice, as the house and the interior appear more outdated as it really is. So, it was a pleasant surprise when we first walked into the house. The initial impression from all four of us was: wow, what a cozy, charming house. And especially: how spacious! The location is beautiful in terms of views and privacy. It is also centrally located, and within a maximum of 1.5 hours of driving, you can easily reach various well-known places in Tuscany. Additionally, we were warmly welcomed by the very friendly owner Tommaso. Every question I asked via WhatsApp was promptly answered or resolved. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Finally, the fireflies that are visible in large numbers around the house as soon as the evening falls are truly enchanting to behold!

Lovely location

Our time in Calci was great; Tommaso was very helpful and accomodating, coming to meet us at the airport so that we could follow him back to the accommodation. During our stay, Tomasso was helpful in suggesting places to go, and to eat at, and quick to try to sort out any issues we were having. The property is behind a gate, and up a steep, narrow, track with a couple of hairpin bends on it. That was quite a challenge for me (wrong side of the car) and our gutless Fiat 500L, but we managed it. The accommodation was pretty much all that it said on the description; it's quite rustic in its decoration, which fits well, but well equipped. The lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious and as comfortable as you'd expect. All the rooms are a good size and have air-con units fitted (although, as you can see from the description, there's an extra charge of you want to use it). It's very well equipped with bathroom facilities! My wife and I both found that our bed was a very firm, even for me; a mattress topper might've come in useful. The pool is great and, being unheated, was a blessed relief from the heat. We spent a lot of time round, an in it, and we were very pleased by how clean it was. Calci is an interesting little town; the monastery museum is well worth a visit and it's easy to get to Pisa and the hypermarket near Pisa. The highlight of our week was when we came back one night and the lights on the track didn't work; the whole are was lit by fireflies! It was wonderful.

Die Kommunikation mit Tommaso war super, er war bei Problemen sofort zur Stelle. Pool war sehr gut, sauber und gepflegt. Sitzmöbel sollten erneuert werden. Wasserhähne schwergängig (vermutlich verkalkt). Küchenausstattung: alles vorhanden.

Tolles Haus mit wünderschönem Blick über Calci. Ideal für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Lucca oder ans Meer. Der Ort Calci hat alles was man braucht und ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gibt dort eine Pasticceria, in der man am Vormittag einen sehr guten Café inmitten quirligen italienischen Flairs genießen kann.Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist über einen recht steilen, maroden Weg gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ist aber ok, es ist ja schließlich ein Olivenhain mit landwirtschaftlichem Betrieb ist.Einziger Kritikpunkt: ein Bad ist zwar mit Dusche aber ohne Duschkabine (nur mit Duschvorhang) ausgestattet.

Wir haben drei Wochen in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage des Objektes ist perfekt. Sehr privat, aber dennoch fußläufig an den freundlich belebten Ort Calci angeschlossen.Das Naturkundemuseum des Ortes ist ein Besuch wert. Der Ausblick vom Haus und Pool in die Landschaft ist wunderschön.Das Haus war sehr sauber und funktional, wenn auch eher mit den Basics des Alltags, ausgestattet. Das Internet ist etwas langsam und von den vorhandenen Betten hatten zwei komfortable Matratzen.Der Gastgeber organisierte den Check-In/ Out reibungslos und sehr zuvorkommend- Danke.Auch wurden Anliegen zum Aufenthalt umgehend und zufriedenstellend geklärt. Für Fragen zur Region erhielt man hilfreiche Antworten.

Un excellent sejour !!

La villa est spacieuse et bénéficie dune tres belle vue sur les collines pisanes. La pisicne a débordement est magnifique et bien entretenue. Tommaso a ete particulierement reactif pour toutes nos questions et cest un point tres positif ! La situation de la villa est super car il est possible daller a pied à Calvi et de beneficier de tous les commerces.Pise est très facilement accessible en 15 min en voiture et il y a une gare à 10 min pour rejoindre par exemple Florence. Je conseille !!

Heerlijke plek in Toscane

Een hele mooie locatie in Toscane. Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf de berg op Calci, een klein rustig dorpje waar je lekker kunt eten en wandelen. Een heerlijk zwembad om bij af te koelen tijdens de warme dagen. Huis is prima, niet super luxe maar wel ruim en schoon. Tommaso (eigenaar) was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam met alles. Locatie is top, dichtbij steden als Pisa en Lucca, leuke musea voor kids (oa Vespa museum) en mooie stranden op rij afstand. Een aanrader!

Ferienhaus mit tollem Blick

Noch einmal mit Pool

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im April sehr genossen. Die Lage des Hauses in dem Olivenhain ist unbeschreiblich schön, der Blick über Calci wunderbar. Die drei Schlafräume sind gemütlich und mit jeweils einem eigenen Bad sehr komfortabel. Da wir ausschließlich selbst gekocht haben, vermissten wir das ein oder andere Küchenutensil, kamen aber gut zurecht. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da der Pool im April noch nicht geöffnet war, werden wir noch einmal in den wärmeren Monaten kommen.

Ferienhaus im Olivenhang mit toller Aussicht

Wir hatten einen super tollen Urlaub in diesem gemütlichen Ferienhaus mit einmaliger Aussicht verbracht. Die Einrichtung im toskanischen Stil hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Dorfmitte ist zu Fuß in knapp 10 Minuten erreichbar. Die Lage in Calci ist perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge nach z.B. Pisa, Lucca und Florenz. Der Empfang des Eigentümers sowie die Kommunikation während unseres Aufenthalts war überaus freundlich. Vielen Dank! 100%ige Weiterempfehlung, sehr gerne wieder! Fam. Hildebrand / September 2021

Schöner Pool mit grandioser Aussicht

Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Tommaso war sehr freundlich. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem Hang und ist über einen Privatweg zu erreichen, der nicht ganz einfach zu meistern ist. Grundsätzlich ist er aber machbar. Durch die Hanglage hat man einen perfekten Blick über den Ort Calci aber auch weit in die Ferne. Wir standen ständig am Pool und haben diesen Ausblick genossen. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und war immer sehr sauber, die Liegen sind bequem. Das Haus an sich ist sehr schön, die Einrichtung ist jedoch sehr sehr einfach gehalten, was in Italien aber nicht untypisch ist. Zum Kochen waren sehr viele Utensilien da, ganz wichtig auch ein Geschirrspüler. Leider mussten wir Dinge wie Spülmittel, Lappen, Tabs, Müllbeutel usw. alles selber besorgen. Ein Coop-Supermarkt ist aber sehr schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Allein der Ausblick und der Pool sind grandios, im Haus kann man recht einfach noch einige Dinge verbessern. Wer mit dem einfachen Standard im Haus kein Problem hat, dem kann ich diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Urlaub in Calci

Leider entsprach der Zustand des Objektes in vielerlei Hinsicht nicht unseren Erwartungen. Außen: Der Bereich vor der Terrasse war doch sehr lieblos mit alten Zigarettenkippen und Kronkorken. Aus den Polstern der Terrassenstühle quoll der Schaumstoff. Immer wieder leichter Geruch nach Kloake wahrnehmbar. Keine Mülltüten in den jeweiligen Behältern, dafür noch Bioabfall durchmischt mit einer zerbrochenen Glasflasche. Poolzugang durch eine verdreckte mittlerweile stillgelegte Duschtasse. Insektenschutz am Hauptzugang in einem erbarmungswürdigen Zustand. Backofen nicht gereinigt und somit nicht benutzbar. Weingläser total versifft und nur nach eigener intensiven Reinigung benutzbar. Vom Sofa brach nach einem ersten Sitzkontakt eine der beiden Lehnen ab. Duschwanne mit braunen Fußspuren. Dusche im 2. Bad offensichtlich gar nicht gereinigt, darauf lässt zumindest ein benutztes Pflaster in der Duschablage schließen. Staubflusen und benutzte Ohrwattebäuschen unter dem Bett. Duschvorhang im 3. Bad Modell Vogelscheuche, vielleicht lag es aber auch daran, dass nur jede dritte oder vierte Öse eingehängt war, aber vermutlich wurde dieses Bad vom Reinigungspersonal gleich gänzlich übersehen, worauf Urinflecken, Haare im Waschbecken und der Toilette schließen lassen. Gut wäre auch wenigstens ein funktionierender Besen gewesen. Aber sei`s drum. Ein kleiner Besen und eine Kehrwisch waren ja auch nicht vorhanden. Positives: Tommaso unser Vermieter hat dann gleich am ersten Abend die Duschtasse gereinigt, am 3. Abend funktionsfähige Besen und Rot- und Weißwein geliefert. Sonstiges Positives: Tolle Lage des Pools mit tatsächlich herrlichem Blick. Trotz aller negativen Einflüsse hatten wir insgesamt einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Viele Grüße Heinz Hofrichter mit Familie.

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage im Olivenhain oberhalb von Calci. Toller Pool, großzügig geschnittenes Haus mit sensationell schönem Ausblick. Lage super für Ausflüge in die Region. Unser Gastgeber war total hilfsbereit und nett, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit Kleinkindern und Hund sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Traumurlaub

Wir haben als Familie einen traumhaften Urlaub gehabt. Das Haus liegt toll in einem Olivenhain mit einer sensationellen Ausicht. Im Haus gibt es alles was man braucht. Und der Pool wurde von den Kindern geliebt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Un vrai moment de détente !

La villa est l'exacte reflet de la description du site . très bien organisée, elle est fonctionnelle et très propre . Le cadre est un délice dans une oliveraie magnifique . Tout invite au repos . Le barbecue n'est pas un détail ; cela est parfait . La location est extrêmement bien organisée par Tommasso qui est très réactif à chaque demande, question sur la région, soucis (même minime) avec un sourire très appréciable . Bref, je vous conseille cette location !

A very pleasant location

This villa is well equipped and laid out with a beautiful view over Calci and the surrounding hills. The pool is very welcome in hot weather and also has superb views. The owner Tommaso is extremely friendly and helpful and was always very quick to respond even for the smallest problem. We had a lovely holiday here. The only small improvement would be to make the WiFi stronger and more reliable. Other than that this was a lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful place
