Gribben Vista está bien amueblado y equipado. La casa está muy bien posicionado para la mayoría de las atracciones de Cornualles y tiene la ventaja de estar situado en el centro de Porthpean Golf Club (membresía semanal descontado disponible).
Puerta principal se abre en hall de entrada con escaleras al primer piso. Abrir el salón con zona, cómodas y equipadas con dos sofás de cuero sentado, uplighter lámpara con lámpara de lectura, CDs, libros y juegos, TV con TDT y reproductor de DVD / CD, conexión para iPod / iPad y la radio digital. Hay grandes puertas francesas con vistas lejanas a la bahía. El comedor tiene una mesa con 4 sillas. La cocina está muy bien equipada. También en la planta baja se encuentra un gran cuarto de baño con bañera, lavabo y WC (muy práctico cuando regrese de la playa o un paseo barro)
La vista desde el dormitorio principal es igual que desde el patio! El dormitorio principal es una habitación enorme, con la segunda habitación más pequeña, pero todavía amplia. También hay un cuarto de baño en planta alta con WC.
Estacionamiento para 1 auto. No fumador

Fabulous views over the bay. Men played golf at great and friendly Porthpean golf course whilst I walked and sketched in the local area. Nice and quiet. This was our second visit and we hope to be back.

What a view

Second time we've stayed in Gribben View and it doesnt disappoint. Comfortable, clean and ideally located. What more could you ask for. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful, peaceful location

Exactly as described. Plenty of space and well equipped. Sun shone effusively on the eater each morning. Stunning moon right in front of property every evening.

Golf and Sea Views

It took us a while to find the property down narrow roads (not good for hubbies patience!) plus we thought the entrance was a builders yard - turned out to be green keepers shed. Property and views were lovely but to access beach meant going down these same roads. We enjoyed our stay at the property which was lovely and peaceful and revisited some old haunts around Cornwall.

Excellent holidays

The cottage is well equipped for a family and very comfortable. Stunning view on St Austell Bay. Beautiful harbour village Charlestown is less than 30 minutes to walk. St Austell is a good base to explore Cornwall and offers a variety of supermarkets. We had excellent holidays.

Good accomodation

We enjoyed our stay. The route discription was alright but we missed the entry because we did not recognize the greenkeepers house. To us it looks more like a barn. The house and kitchen is very good equipped and we did (NEARLY) not miss a thing. Beds very comfortable. The "relax armchairs" are very worn off at the head- and at the armrests. We covered the headrests with our own towels, so we felt better. It was a great pitty that the key for the terrace door was "misteriously" missing. We do understand that it was not possible to contact the cleaner (who might have accidentally forgotten to put it where it belonged) at the bank holiday weekend. After that it was disappointing to get the message that it was not possible to organize this or another key for the door. So we were not able to let fresh air into the room (for a week!) and had to walk all around the house when we wanted to sit on the terrace to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea out there. The view was pretty much reduced because the door windows were not really clear. So the missing key was the big "minus" for our stay. The area is beautiful and quiet. Except some golf players there are not many people around the house. Within 10 minutes (by car) one can reach supermarkets, restaurants and the city of St. Austell. Nearby attractions like the EDEN Project, Heligans lost gardens and Wheal Martyn are reachable within 30 minutes. The way to the beach and the coastal path itself are very steep, though.

Great location and well appointed

Our contact with the owner from booking to arrival was super. The cottage is really well placed to explore this corner of Cornwall, with so much on the doorstep, from the southwest coast path and loads of local attractions, and so much more beyond. The house is well appointed and the kitchen is very well equipped (first time we've ever had a decent knife set in a rental👍). The views are just lovely! Our only downside was that the lounge furniture could do with a refresh, other than that it was fabulous. A very enjoyable Christmas week.

Holiday review

The accommodation was great along with the settings but it was a great pity it hadn't been cleaned and we had to contact owner. Settled in eventually by 8 pm.somewhat late.

Dave's Idyllic Week

From the day we made the booking last year to getting home just now, after having the holiday, I have nothing but good things to say. I made a few enquiries regarding the property and Shona always responded immediately. The instructions we received were detailed and very helpful, even down to recommended places to eat. The property itself was excellent, with many helpful extras, and the view to the front over the sea through the ever open patio doors was a joy in itself. I have already made a booking for the same property next year and we are looking forward to it already. Many thanks Shona and all the very best from, Dave, Isabel and Samantha.

The location and views make this a very special place to stay.

Having rented other cottages in the block before, we did think this was slightly smaller but still adequate for four adults. Parking was awkward as in the info it said extra parking was available opposite the greenkeepers hut. This however isn't the case as we were asked to move.

Lovely cottage right on the golf course, lovely views.

Lovely cottage right on the golf course, my husband had two excellent rounds of golf while we were there for the week, I waved at him him from the cottage over looking the 17th hole. I loved the view across the bay when I was sitting in the reclining chair sipping a glass of wine, we were lucky and had great weather. We didn't want for anything and we even had a food delivery to our doorstep on the first night.

Gorgeous getaway

A beautiful well equipped cottage in a gorgeous setting, a great base for exploring the rest of Cornwall. Don't forget your swimming gear as the beach below the cottage is well worth the short, but steep, walk.

Lovely setting

Overlooking the bay & the golf course, a beautiful location. Charlestown is nearby & a great place to eat out, be aware you need to book in advance due to reduced spacing & timings in Covid times! The Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan are nearby, & worth a visit. Everything you could need provided except instructions for the hob, which we were unable to fathom!

Perfect stay

This cottage has stunning views and had all the space we needed for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped and other than a few crumbs on the kitchen worktop, the cottage was very clean. COVID 19 adaptations included removal of extra soft furnishings ie cushions as well as towels and bedding. We were happy to take our own towels and fortunately we have a superking size duvet on our own bed as the master bedroom has 2 single 3’ beds together to make a superking bed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we were grateful for the mattress protectors and bottom sheet provided ( we took our own pillows, duvet and bed linen) There was cleaning products (washing up liquid, hand wash, surface cleaner) available and all antibacterial. This was the perfect base for exploring Cornwall and I will be recommending it to friends. The information provided was sent in a timely manner and we were grateful for that. Thank you for a great place to stay for a few days

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We chose the cottage because we fell in love with the view! When we drove in at the top of the drive we said to one another that the cottage was going to have to be falling down for us to not want to buy with a view like that.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cottage has to have one of the best views in Cornwall. Even the very expensive houses in Carlyon Bay don't have as good a view of St Austell Bay. Now that our boys are growing up and playing golf, the benefit of having a golf course on our doorstep is huge, and the course is great. It's effectively both a parkland and links course, with 9 holes of each!
