Para el viajero que tiene la intención de experimentar nuevos y deliciosos sabores portugueses, el pueblo de Alvor ofrece una variada selección de restaurantes, que sirven el pescado más fresco, capturado en el día, a pocos pasos del apartamento.

La brisa marina y el sol te recibirán mientras caminas tranquilamente por una de las playas de Alvor, muy bien clasificadas a nivel europeo.

Si te gusta bucear, nada y descubre uno de los 3 barcos hundidos a lo largo de la bahía. Para aquellos que necesitan velocidad, el Hipódromo Internacional del Algarve será un lugar de bienvenida, donde podrá ver e incluso experimentar conduciendo los autos más rápidos.

Un corto trayecto de 10 minutos en coche desde el apartamento también te llevará al Aeródromo de Montes de Alvor, donde puedes practicar paracaidismo, ¡si eres lo suficientemente valiente!

Great location

We had a great stay overall. The sea view I cannot confirm but the location is very central in the old town so the walk to the beach isn't long and also at night you don't have a long way home. Since the whole space has air condition you can sleep with closed windows which is necessary since nightlife starts just in front of your doorspace (it's not so much bars but shops that are still open at night and ice cream spots). A grocery shop is only one door away, very convenient as well. Flat was nice, didn't feel crispy clean but was enough. We stayed one week and had to buy toilet paper because there was nothing stored. There are no distinctive beach towels in the flat.

It was way better than I expected from the photos. Really big and clean apartment. The location is best. I got my morning coffee right in front of my door. Also very kind communication and everything went very uncomplicated. I absolutely recommend. Thank you for the nice stay.

Nice apartment in good location

The apartment is very nice and has all the comforts you need. The location is very central in Alvor, numerous restaurants are right in the street and the beach is also within walking distance. A small store with groceries is right outside the door. The apartment is very well equipped. I recommend booking the accommodation for 2 people only and only using the top bed. Due to our triple occupancy, we had to use the sofa bed in the living room (we had to pay 50 euros extra to use this bed) and when I then wanted to take this bed out of the bed base, the folding metal frame was totally bent and could not be set up or used. There was a very unpleasant situation in which we were to be held accountable for the condition of the bed, which I felt was very unfair and I felt very unjustly treated and very helpless. A man came and repaired the bed but I still didn't use it as I didn't find the metal construction trustworthy, although I am lightweight and also a camping enthusiast and don't have high standards. However, this bed was definitely of the lowest standard. Otherwise everything was to our satisfaction. We arrived late, around 10 pm, and therefore had to pay an extra 20 euros. I think it would be better to communicate such things in advance. Nevertheless, many thanks for everything, all in all we had a lovely stay at the hotel.

Exciting..

It's a nice place to stay except for the mold on the ceiling and the fridge. Unfortunately, the sofa bed cannot really be converted into a sofa bed. Animals are welcome, but you have to pay 75 euros for the animals when you pick up the keys. Unfortunately, these costs are not listed in the advertisement. Alvor is worth a visit though.

Lovely place but issues with ants

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and the location was amaaaazing, we would definitely go back to Alvor. The apartment was really clean and the only reason we’ve reviewed that section lower is because it did have major issues with ants and we weren’t made aware of this at all. When I mentioned it afterwards, the house managers were very dismissive of the issue but I do feel it would be right to let guests know about the ants as there were a lot of them when we arrived so it wasn’t even from leaving food out. Checking in was pretty easy but we didn’t get any info about how to do this which would’ve been nice to have prior to arrival and so we called through the number on the website when we arrived and waited to have it unlocked but we only ended up waiting about 10mins so was fine- also we weren’t made aware of the €100 cash deposit needed upon arrival and so had to take cash out on the spot which cost us £20 so make sure to bring the money with you! The location is really great though and we recommend staying here. The apartment is lovely and the beach is so close by. It’s absolutely gorgeous. There are also lots of shops nearby which is very convenient. I think there could’ve been more info on the ‘house rules’ as it wasn’t clear that we needed to remove rubbish from bins in the house or where the outdoor bins were even located and so this was a last minute rush for us as we were suddenly worried we would be charged the €100 deposit. Overall our stay here was very positive though and I thought the price was pretty good for the area which tends to very expensive.

Die Wohnung ist mit dem Nötigen ausgestattet und dürfte mehr gepflegt sein. Die Küche war zum Kochen prima, hingegen das Bett verbesserungswürdig ist. Der Balkon mit Blick zur trubeligen Einkaufsstraße mit Bars und Restaurants war dennoch unterhaltsam. Jedes Geschäft ist Fußläufig erreichbar. Abends findet man dann eben erst spät Ruhe. Wer das mag, ist hier richtig.

Great place to stay in the Algarve

Such a quaint nice place to stay when you want to check out the Algarve. The place is located close to restaurants and a market right next door. The only downsides are the bed is very hard and the foldout couch has a very thin mattress so you can feel the metal. Parking is limited, so you have to park at any available space on the street and walk. Other than those few issues, the place was very clean with many amenities. They even left us fruit and some goodies for our stay. Would stay there again.

Hidden gem in the heart of Alvor

This was a great little apartment in an excellent location. Very clean and ideal for couples looking for a value for money accommodation. Dina and her husband were lovely, and even left us a little welcome pack which was a thoughtful little touch - and much appreciated. Would have no trouble recommending.

Definitely coming back!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect. The owners were lovely and easily accessible. I will be coming back. One thing I would like to see in the future is AC if possible.We forgot something when we left and the owners were very kind and let our cousin come back for it. They are amazing. Blessings.
