Esta acogedora cabaña está ubicada en el corazón de Black Hills, a media cuadra del Moonshine Gulch Saloon y Mickleson Trail. La cabina ofrece la serena y serena belleza de Black Hills con algunos de los paseos más increíbles que se puedan imaginar justo afuera de la puerta trasera. Ubicado en Rochford SD a solo 35 km de Deadwood ya 56 km de Sturgis. Caminos pavimentados todo el camino desde Deadwood.

Perfect cozy cabin vibe for fall family getaway! Spent hours swinging, going down the slide and practicing our casting in the creek! Afterwards the fireplace inside was the perfect spot to warm up and keep building memories!

Great place to relax & unwind. We really enjoyed sittng in the swing and watching the creek. Beautiful scenery all around. We had a couple of good meals & some beers at the Old Saloon. Hope to come back again.

Our stay was great. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Loved the property, wild life was amazing, deer in the back yard most nights.Many trails close by for UTV riding and hikes. scenic views were great.

Perfect spot to spend a week in the Black Hills! Very clean, Wi-Fi (helped with lack of phone service) and comfortable cabin. Rental had everything we could ask for and more. Loads of space to park our 20 foot trailer (transported our 2 Can-Ams) for the week. Our first VRBO experience and I’m afraid we are spoiled by this stay!! Rochford had a great ice cream/general store and Moonshine Gulch Bar had fantastic burgers…within an easy walking distance. Also perfect for our 5 year old doodle. Loads of space to sniff around! Would return anytime!

The location to the Michelson trail is extremely close( we came to bike). The backyard is large and has a view of the trail. Our dog enjoyed playing ball in the back yard and taking long walks down the country roads nearby. The house is also situated on a creek and has a swing located on the back of the property to view the creek. The town of Rochford ( where the house is situated) is extremely quaint and charming. There is a book in the house called "The History of Rochford" which I ended up reading every night. The town gives you the feeling of living in the Gold Rush Days. Right across the street is the original school house & up the street is the small cute church plus the original saloon!

The cabin is so cute and peaceful. Loved staying here. If you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle stay here. Its perfect, quiet amd the creek is absolutely serenity. I give this place a 10 out of 10.

Home away from home

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the serenity of the location with the stream in back of the property. The amenities in the house was excellent, including kitchen needs, washer and dryer, and and comfortable space for relaxing. We had excellent communication with owners. We would stay here again.

Daily Deer Visits

An awesome experience every day. Deer visits daily, sitting on the swing listening to the birds and the water from the creek was so peaceful. The cabin was perfect with all supplies needed. The George Mickelson trail is just down the road and it meanders through beautiful valleys. We will definitely come back.

Rochford Get Away

Wonderful stay over Thanksgiving! We had extended family in the area and needed a separate place to stay with my Mom and our dog and this was perfect! Warm, clean, comfortable- we enjoyed our time here immensely

Great place in a great location

Family vacation

This cabin was just what we needed. It was a great place to stay and a great little piece of peace and quite. We all enjoyed our time being out in the hills away from the hussle and bussle of everday life. Perfect for those looking for a get away and enjoying nature, loved seeing thr wildlife and the creek.

Loved our stay in Rochfort! The cabin has everything we needed. Especially a swing along the river. It was all so delightful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Saw deer and bunnies every day. What’s not to love?

Lovely little cabin in nature :)

Beautiful little place off the beaten path. House is cozy and nature is all around to enjoy. Bring bikes as there are amazing bike paths all around. The creek is fun and we enjoyed our stay. House is well appointed and kept up. Be prepared to drive a bit when you are there, but it’s a beautiful place to be!

Little slice of heaven

Our stay was great!! Cute little cabin with everything we needed, beautiful stream. We utilized the grill and fire table. It is a bit of a jaunt to get to some of the tourist attractions. We plan on staying again and just spending time at the cabin.

Ssshhhh…don’t tell anyone!

We loved this place! Even better than expected. We love to fly fish and enjoy the outdoors and we had the best of both worlds here. We were supplied with everything we needed, my only regret was not being able to stay longer. We dream of living in the area and we’re so thankful and blessed to have found this wonderful place! Great cabin!

Such a great cabin! Very peaceful with the trout stream right in the back yard. The location was perfect for riding our UTV right from the driveway to the trails. Moonshine Gulch Saloon and the Rochford Mall were fun, too! Would definitely stay here again!

A perfect escape

This was the perfect home base for exploring and an amazing place to spend thanksgiving. The fireplace was cozy on the cold days and the cabin had everything you could possibly need. The kids loved the games and bunk beds. We saw deer daily in the yard. A must go for some much needed peace.

We have four grown children and six grandchildren. Our children grew up visiting our cabin almost every weekend and many family memories have been made. We love sharing it with others so your own memories can be made here!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We purchased this cabin because of the great location, very close to our home so we can get away for the weekend without having to travel many hours. We live in Sturgis and also have rented rooms in our home every year for the Sturgis Rally and have always enjoyed sharing what we have with others.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Peaceful and quiet! It is also right on Rapid Creek and the Mickelson Trail. Centrally located so there is easy access to many attractions in the Black Hills. We have Wifi, and you can make calls through the WiFi! There is a TV with DVD player and you can stream through your phone or internet services. We provide some board games and a couple movies, however feel free to bring your own!
