El Santuario fue diseñado para ser su hogar lejos del hogar.
Si vienes a Chillicothe o Ross Co. para teatro o música, ¡mira nuestra conveniente ubicación! Si viaja por negocios y necesita unas pocas noches o semanas, es un gran lugar para relajarse después de un largo día. Puede cocinar sus propias comidas en una de nuestras dos cocinas completas. Relájate en la terraza y disfruta del campo. Tenemos dos camas king size de California en habitaciones privadas y un tercer dormitorio con 2 juegos de literas y un futón. Dos baños completos, uno arriba y otro abajo. Uno con una bañera de hidromasaje lo suficientemente grande para dos.
Si no tiene necesidades durante la noche, las reuniones de 50 o menos pueden pasar la tarde o la noche para baby showers, cenas de ensayo o reuniones familiares. Exceeded Expectations

Great spot for a weekend retreat with friends! The property was well-maintained, and they even surprised us with a hot tub. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to get away with friends and family.

Winter getaway

We had a great weekend! It was a beautiful building! The kids used the hot tub every night! The host was also very accommodating and helped whenever we had a question or issue! And when the snow storm almost snowed us in they offered extra time and to plow us out! Would stay again without a doubt!

A Unique & Comfortable Stay for All Ages

We truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully unique property! With 6 adults (3 generations) in our group, it provided us with more interior space than we imagined, allowing us to spread out and relax (or play), with a leather-style couch that wouldn’t quit, comfortable beds, and distractions such as ping pong, the hot tub, and even the large jetted tub inside. Since this was a Thanksgiving destination, we really appreciated the extra large table and two full kitchens. If you’re not cooking, you will still find lots of food options within 15-20 minutes away. Some of our group enjoyed trips out to hiking and cultural destinations, while others stayed close and were happy exploring gravestones and enjoying the quiet, rural views featuring cows, horses, goats and more. Instructions for preparing/packing, and checking in and out were clear — and when I missed an email, it was a quick and friendly phone call to straighten it out. If we are ever headed this way again, I think this property will be at the top of our list!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Thus is the second time I've stayed here. Absolutely awesome! Lors of open space with fantastic view. (We got lucky beautiful fireworks lit up the hillsides). Great place to rest and relax with friends, family or just yourself. I'm sure I'll be a returning guest.

Lots of space

My family met my sister’s family here for a week away and we loved it! Plenty of living space & open spaces, loads of seating, and two kitchens for a variety of projects. One bedroom is in the living room/kitchen/great room area, so the earliest riser or coffee drinker should sleep there. Only downside is that the only play-friendly area outside is rock/gravel and very near the road. Thankfully there was lots of room to create fun indoors, too. We loved that everything we wanted to do was less than an hour away, and Tammy had great suggestions for local places to check out! Overall, we’d definitely stay again!

Everything was great except for the number of bedrooms. The house is advertised with four bedrooms, but one is actually in the living room. Other than that, everything was great.

Unique Rental

Great place to spend a weekend in Hocking Hills. Awesome hot tub and overall great amenities for a converted church. We loved the kitchen and would highly recommend this place as we have stayed in a number of rentals in the areal.

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying at this property. The space has a lot of room to hang out with family. The property was clean and had everything that we needed. There were plenty of things close to do and see.

Great Venue For A Conference

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The pastors of our church gathered with our wives for a conference weekend. It was clean, and we were amazed at the renovations. Two large kitchens and a workspace, TVs everywhere. The only thing that would make it better is if WiFi was available.

Complete disaster

From the beginning we had problems. The place was full of dead bugs, behind the beds and couches, in the kitchen and in the bathroom. There is a huge cemetery on the property that is not told to the traveler. There are cameras surrounding the area that the traveler isn’t made aware of as well. We weren’t allowed to be outside, if we did we received threatening messages from the managers. I am not sure if this was because we were a bi-racial family or if they were just inconsiderate. We were celebrating Memorial Day (my husband and myself proudly served) and were told we weren’t allowed to play music that the neighbors were threatening to call the police, this was at 5PM on a Saturday evening. This may be an ok location for an event but I highly recommend you stay far away if you are looking for a nice family location for even a night. The location is overpriced and unimpressive. The downstairs would be 60 degrees and the upstairs stayed at about 90 degrees the whole time. There were no dishes available to use like promised in the description and don’t even plan on using the grill or fireplace conveniently located on the side of the building seeing that you aren’t allowed to enjoy the outdoors there. We have booked several location through VRBO and we have stayed in several cabins in the area and have never had such an unpleasant uncomfortable and threatening experience. I highly recommend finding another location.

Very unique, beautifully redone, clean property.

We love The Sanctuary! Only 50 min drive from Columbus, so unique! The stained glass windows, pew beds and two kitchens were all great! Comfortable beds and furniture, new appliances all made it very easy to stay here. We will definitely be back. God’s job, Rob and Tammy.

Nice laege gathering area

Nicely furnished and decorated. Plenty of room for large gatherings. Two kitchens is very handy for large groups. Multiple TVs so adults and kids can have their own shows.

Loved the property

What I did not like was the process of reserving the property - while I would love to return sometime or recommend it to others, I will certainly not do so as long as one must go through Homeaway to make the reservation - it was an experience I have never had in all the many years I have made reservations all over the world. Given the contact with the owners, I would suggest they take Homeaway out of the picture - they were pleasant to communicate what few needs we had. Even so, we loved the church atmosphere - the tables for small ones in the corner of the room was a big reminder of the days of our one room church where tables around the sanctuary designed spaces for Sunday School classes. Nice touch......

Getaway

We made a spontaneous decision to get away for an overnight visit. The Sanctuary is not far off the main highway. It's a beautiful drive through a rolling countryside. The Sanctuary sets up on a hillside with a gorgeous view. The interior is beautifully updated and spacious with comfortable couches for relaxing, really comfortable beds and two well equipped kitchens. Perfect for a getaway! Would love to go back and stay longer. The owners were delightful and very easy to work with. Thank You!

Sister retreat

So glad we chose The Sanctuary. Private, quiet, good views from the cool deck and great inside. The vast openness of the main meeting room / kitchen gives an inviting & roomy feel. Both kitchens were well stocked. There was speedy wi-fi & streaming. And those California King beds were super inviting. We'll be back for sure.
