Amplio apartamento privado frente al mar. 20 min Seattle. Hermosa vista durante todo el año!

Piso inferior completo (2,000 pies cuadrados) de casa frente al lago. Entrada independiente con impresionantes vistas. 3 habitaciones privadas más sofá cama disponibles en la sala de estar. El dormitorio principal tiene baño en suite. Duerme hasta 8 cómodamente. La ubicación es buena para parejas, viajeros de negocios y familias (con niños). Durante los meses cálidos, vaya en kayak al amanecer / atardecer o simplemente disfrute de sentarse en el muelle con una bebida fría. Durante los meses más fríos: vistas a la bañera de hidromasaje y al brumoso lago para observar a las águilas calvas bucear en busca de peces con muchas otras aves, incluidos gansos y patos canadienses.

A special place on the lake

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place right on Lake Sammamish. The master suite felt luxurious, and there were two other very nice bedrooms. A brand new kitchen, and a living area made it easy for a group of us to relax whether it be inside or outside. We loved swimming and relaxing at the dock. There’s a large patio space and hot tub as well. We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful Location

Beautiful location, beautiful lakehouse with a beautiful view. Mike&Rosalyn were awesome answering our questions&concerns. My only wish was that the landscaping around the patio was trimmed back to enjoy more of the view, and the jacuzzi worked properly so we could have enjoyed it. The grill&outdoor firepit were great. Easy to operate, and it was nice to cook out, sit outside at the table, and relax on the lake.

Paradise on Sammamish and so much more...

We haven't even left yet, as I am sitting typing this review with happy memories of our week in paradise on Lake Sammimish. Where to begin is the most difficult challenge we have had all week. First, the apartment is absolutely perfect, complete with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in...including the pull out which had a memory foam mattess top! Our three generations (mom-in-law, husband and wife and daughter) all had the perfect amount of space and every detail was attended to. The fire pit every night and morning swims in the lake coupled with the hot tub spa and all the lake toys were simply over the top. The best part? Our hosts Mike and Rosalyn...so much fun and very thoughtful. New friends for forever and we will be back again. Our trip was so full of surprises, but I won't spoil it so you too can be surprised as we were so many times throughout the week. Thank you Mike and Rosalyn for everything! We are so grateful. See you again!

Fall Get Away

I stayed here for the first three weeks in October. Overall, I had a good experience. I really loved the location, being right on the lake was lovely. This was my first experience using an induction cooktop and I loved it! The instant hot water in the shower was also a real plus. Here are the less-than-ideal issues. The hosts were in another country and time zone. The night I arrived it was late, and I got lost. I contacted the host for additional instructions, and they were 4 hours ahead in time and asleep. The hot tub had cloudy water and no chemicals present. I had to clean it and add chemicals (with verbal guidance from the hosts) to get it back to swimmable condition. The kayak had ripped seat straps, the hull was full of water and the only available life jacket was a youth size. The property does have heat, but the thermostat is in the upstairs unit, which was not accessible to me without texting the owners to adjust it. I was quite cold without any ability to turn the heat up. The hosts did try to get me account access to the nest thermostat on my phone, but only after I requested a space heater. These are relatively minor issues and I feel the hosts made modest attempts to help. However, with the rate I paid for my stay, I was hoping for a bit more buttoned up experience with closer attention to details like keeping the key amenities well maintained and clean. I can’t say I’ll be returning, but I’m not actively encouraging anyone to avoid this property.

Beautiful Location and Super Attentive Host

This is a lovely space with a breathtaking view, and Mike goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The grounds are a beautifully landscaped, terraced garden with easy stone steps to the dock on the beautiful clear lake. In the afternoon, the lake comes alive with activity (sea planes, paddle boards, kayaks, sea bikes, water skiing and other aquatic activities). I hope that a couple of specific details not mentioned in the description might assist other potential guests. The second (shared) bathroom featured in the property is for "everyone's use during daylight hours" according to the sign visible from inside the bathroom. This means that Mike's guests have access to your rented space during the day. While there is a second sign on the interior door asking his guests to respect the renters' privacy, there is no locking mechanism on the renters' side to keep his guests from coming into the space. Since we were gone during the day, it did not really interfere with our enjoyment of the space, it just felt a little creepy. Including taxes and fees, we paid more than $1000 per night, and this undisclosed arrangement of sharing rented space with complete strangers felt more like discounted rental than an upscale vacation rental. Two Teslas with charging stations occupy 2 spots in the driveway, and there is a AirStream camper that occupies additional space, so parking is tight. This did not present an issue for us since we were in one car, but since the living space sleeps 8, it would be best to contact Mike if you are bringing more than one car. With regard to the air conditioning -- the thermostat is located in the owners' space and Mike has to make any adjustments. While it was warm while we were there, Mike quickly adjusted the temperature for us so we were comfortable. The temperatures are generally pleasant and I imagine that opening windows would generally cool the space. During our stay, we were unable to open 1 of the 2 windows due to a large piece of furniture blocking its path. Privacy is a huge factor for my family when selecting a vacation property -- 16 security cameras and upstairs noise (mild but still present) did not make it feel very private. While I really think this is a beautiful property and Mike is super accommodating, this was not a great match for us -- especially given the cost. We were only there 2 nights, so perhaps a longer stay using more amenities might have given the nightly rate more value.

Simply an outstanding experience

Without any exceptions, our stay at Mike and Roselyn's Lakehouse was outstanding. First, the location on Lake Samm is perfect, West side with morning sunrise and beautiful sun on the water, dock and deck all day. The house, kitchen, bedrooms and outside patio are all wonderfully furnished, with most importantly some of the most comfortable king size beds that we have ever stay in. That said, with beautiful summer days, all you want to do is spend the entire time down on the dock and Lake swimming, or evenings on the patio with the BBQ and Jacuzzi . I know this sounds like an advertisement, but the place is perfect for a Lake family vacation. And Mike and Rosalyn are great hosts, always available to answer questions and help out if needed. Will plan on returning same time next year.

Lake Right Outside the Door

We really enjoyed our stay at this lakeside house. It was just a few steps down to Lake Samm, and we kept our inflatable kayak right by the water, ready to launch. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the dock in the evening with a glass of wine, watching a bald eagle soar overhead, was wonderful. The large apartment below the main house was very private, spacious, and comfortable – exceptional beds, linens and pillows. Although we had been concerned about the kitchen, because we like to cook, the full fridge, large air-fry/toaster oven, outdoor grill, and 2 dishwashers met our needs better than we had expected. But the best thing about this house was our host/owner, Mike, who provided much advice and conversation when appropriate and privacy when needed. Mike was always quick to respond to requests and to meet our needs.

Awesome

A wonderful and relaxing place, with a beautiful view. There was six of us that stayed at this very nice place for the New Years weekend. It was very relaxing and very peaceful, very quiet and a very comfortable apartment/condo. There was snow on the ground but we use the hot tub which was very relaxing. Wine somehow taste better when you’re in a hot tub surrounded by snow. We walked down on the dock and fed the ducks and saw eagles and it was just awesome even in the cold. Would go back there in one split second again and stay. Everything was top notch with very comfortable beds and the communication with the owners was above awesome. They are very, very nice hosts and want to make sure you’re comfortable during your stay. Even when they’re in the Caribbean while we were there the communication was top notch. I love those people. Don’t hesitate to book you will not be sorry very comfortable, very quiet, very beautiful rental. Even in the snow and terrible weather we were in our own little heaven. Thank you very much Mike and Ros. A little get away that created a first great memory for our 2022 journals. Thank you, Peggy and friends

Perfect, tranquil and relaxing

Cannot say enough about this wonderful piece of paradise on the lake. The fall colors were superb, especially looking at them with a glass of wine in the hotel tub. Couldn’t get over the bald eagles flying over too. I stay at a lot of places and no one has ever made me feel as welcome as Mike! Excellent communication and you can tell he cares! My girlfriend and I stayed here. We each had our own room and ample space to work remotely too.

Lakehouse

Me and some friends stayed here for a week in September when we were in town for my friends wedding. It was probably my favorite place I've stayed yet. We were all delighted to hang out and enjoy the property. We could've lounged in the hot tub and enjoyed the view of lake sammamish the entire time and been satisfied. Our second day we spent exploring the lake on the kayak and waterbikes that were provided at our own private dock. It was also a great place to bbq, which we did on our last night despite the rain. Mike was very communicative and offered up many suggestions for things to do in town. We had privacy and I felt very comfortable spending time at the lakehouse. I fully intend to return next time I visit the Seattle area.

Girls trip

We rented this place for our girls running group and it was the perfect house for us. Views of the lake were amazing, hot tub was relaxing, house was open layout, tv was giant, beds were really comfortable, showers were great. Short walk down the stairs to a very nice private dock, loved the water toys, and confortable lounge chairs. Loved our stay, thanks for having us!

A stay in paradise

My family and I stayed in this wonderful property for 5 weeks this past summer. We swam almost every day off the dock and slept well in very comfortable beds every night. The kitchen was well appointed with literally everything you could need. We loved and enjoyed all of the amenities--from the exercise equipment to the kayak and hydrobikes to roasting marshmallows in the firepit (they even had the sticks!). Mike and Roz were incredibly kind and welcoming and made every effort to ensure we were doing OK (and in case you can't tell from this review, we were:) ). It will truly be a summer to remember and we hope to be back someday. Thank you for everything!

A very relaxing and enjoyable Christmas holiday

Very spacious with loads of room for 5 adults. Brilliant view of the lake - we even jumped in on December 26! 😛 very quiet. Super clean with great linen and towels. As it was winter we cooked inside a lot and missed having an oven although there are bbques outside. Enough dishes and glasses and cups for entertaining lots of people but limited space for putting food in cupboards. Lots of little extra touches like a mini fridge filled with bottled water and ample tea, coffee and condiments plus some goodies for snacking on were provided. Our family certainly enjoyed our time in this lovely home but lots of stuff (tables, dressers,etc) was piled and stored on the deck outside. Hot tub was great and we used it lots but the cover was homemade and not reflective of the beautiful home. A great, restful and enjoyable Christmas was spent here.

We had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful property while visiting family in Bellevue over Thanksgiving. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and ensured that our stay was comfortable. The setting is spectacular, the house is well designed, very roomy with the latest appliances and electronics. The linens are fresh and crisp and the beds are heavenly! Thank you for all the snacks and coffee! We would love to stay here again in the future.

Mike is a super nice guy who made our stay one of the most memorable ever.

There is always a little anxiety when you are asked to find a place to stay for our traveling group. That melted away immediately upon arrival. Exceeded all expectations. We were greeted my Mike who gave us a warm welcome and a tour of our downstairs lakefront apartment. Afterwards he came back down with ice cream bars for our group. We barbecued, used the hot tub, road the water bikes, all while enjoying the rain which we never get in SoCal. He took time out of his busy day to come home from work and take us for an unforgettable ride in his Tesla Model X. ;-) He also noticed our friend's son who came to visit had under inflated tires and got out his air compressor. Great communication and quick response on all text messages. He checked on us now and then to ask if we needed anything. He even came out to give us all a good bye hug as we were leaving. We are so glad we chose this VRBO because of the view, the location and Mike.

Great experience

Our stay at Mike and Rosalyn’s place was superb. They are the true definition of a super host. Very accommodating and helpful. We feel they wet above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience at their lake house. Which we did. They had Hydrobikes (bikes on pontoons that you ride on the water) which I loved and looked forward to riding on each morning. Cruising along the lake, feeding the ducks. So much fun and a warm sunny summer morning. I can’t even mention all the perks and bonus emenatiies they offered and we were able to enjoy. The place was well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here. Our stay was 17 days and we did not want to leave. It was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Yet close to everything from Seattle sight seeing to Redmond Microsoft campus. Mike and Rosalyn are wonderful people to rent from.

Absolute 5 Star Experience! Wonderful

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome! We were toured through the very spacious home (lower part of huge waterfront home). Our view was spectacular. We stayed 5 nights with another couple that came to visit from Arizona. The bedding was super comfortable. We felt at home here and do plan to return for another stay. We enjoyed swimming at the beach, evening hot tub treat with that view, making smores at the fire pit and visits with the owner and friends that lived nearby. The unit has a brand new washer/dryer too, even with preloaded soap! This stay exceeded our expectations! We cannot thank Mike and Rose enough for such a wonderful stay. Our out of town friends were thrilled to enjoy the stay too.

Incredible views, house, weather and hosts!!

We had nothing short of an incredible stay. Not only is the location stunning, it was quiet and conveniently located to all the grocery stores, medical facilities and shopping Bellevue has to offer. The rental is massive with a beautiful patio, hot tub and pier. The location is an excellent staging point for seeing anything in and around the Seattle area. The rental speaks for itself but I can't say enough wonderful things about the owners, Mike and Rosalyn and friends. They truly make it a special place and not only are they friendly and responsive, they genuinely care and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is pleasant. Their recommendations for places to eat and things to do where nothing short of amazing. Excellent and down to earth people!! We highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the Seattle area. You won't be disappointed!!

Amazing experience at the lake Sammamish gem!

Beautiful property with a stunning view, lots of space, comfortable bedrooms, and things to do inside (even gym) but all you want to do is spend your time outside in the jacuzzi or sun-tanning, kayaking, or just relaxing and enjoying the view. The owners, Mike and Rosalyn, are very very nice and flexible with their time and will make sure that you are getting the best experience. We are definitely coming back!

Mike and Rosalyn are from Australia. Moved to Seattle in 2001 for work and decided to stay since it is so beautiful all of the year. We love the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer. Happy to offer any suggestions to help you enjoy your stay as much as possible. Mike is fully qualified private commercial seaplane pilot as well as CIO of a local Seattle company. Rosalyn runs a consulting business since 2001 in Redmond, WA. We are experienced hosts and also manage several properties in the Caribbean on beautiful Sint Maarten. Lake Sammamish is beautiful all year round - whether a winter's day with a hint of sunshine or the beautiful spring with cherry blossoms, spectacular summer and fall with it's amazing colors. We fell in love with Lake Sammamish early in our time in Seattle and then were able to purchase our dream property about 9 years later. Peloton Bike for your use while staying (need subscription or use sample content).

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Living on the lake was a lifelong dream. This South East facing property is perfect with the sun rising over the lake in the morning through to the beautiful evenings. Relaxing on the dock at the end of the day is wonderful. Some guests have even been known to do a few yoga moves by the lake. You won't find a nicer place to stay no matter what the season. Even if visiting for a work trip, this is a wonderful place to relax at the end of a busy day and use the Peloton and other exercise equipment in your own private area.
