Great property with awesome view

The property was good and perfect size for our group. The host Salvatore was always making sure our stay was pleasant. We experienced very hot days, and the A/C could keep up with the outside heat. The pictures on the VRBO site were not updated, so we found out that the kitchen was renovated, which was great. We had a very nice and ample patio The location was a 5 min drive to to the town of San Teodoro and very close to very nice beaches

Beautiful Memories

We (couple) stayed with our friends (another couple and their one year old.) The property includes several different living spaces - ours was a comfortable 3 bedroom space - which share outdoor amenities. We were fortunate to have the property to ourselves during our stay, though it's spacious enough that sharing would be fine too. The living space was nice - large beds, good air conditioning, a useful kitchen (no oven, but stovetop and microwave) but the outdoor space was by far our favorite thing. We spent hours taking in the stunning view, refreshed in the pool and had several al fresco dinners we prepared on the grill. It's not dark to town for supplies, the gelato shop at the bottom of the hill is outstanding and it was a perfect home base for exploring beautiful area beaches (and even a day trip to Porto Cervo.) Our hosts were kind and helpful and obviously take very good care of the property. Baby was happy and comfortable the entire stay (and loved the colorful, animal-adorned crib we rented from the hosts.) We were just a tad disappointed that the hot tub/jacuzzi was not hot but that was the only thing that didn't meet or exceed expectations. We would absolutely recommend the property and would return someday if we can.

Die Anlage hat eine wirklich schöne Poolanlage, Allerdings haben wir uns in der Wohnung nicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Badezimmer hatte viele Mängel. Toilettensitz ganz instabil. Wurde auch nicht repariert. Das schöne Duschpaneel (tolles Foto im Internet), funktionierte nur mit der Handbrause. Das Equipment in der Küche war sehr einfach und mangelhaft. Ansonsten waren die Vermieter nett und unaufdringlich. Wir haben den Pool genossen, bei schlechten Wetter hätten wir Probleme mit dem Aufenthalt in der Wohnung gehabt.

Highly recommended

Wonderful stay. The property is beautifully kept. The pool is immaculate and extremely refreshing. There is an outdoor stone/charcoal stove which we used and had dinner overlooking the sea. The apartment was clean and spacious. Although we did not spend much time inside as there is a private courtyard with a table and lounge area. There is a market within two minutes of the house that has everything you could need. The property is in very close driving distance to various beautiful beaches and towns.

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft für Urlaub auf Sardinien!

Wir (Eltern mit Kindern, 11 und 3 Jahre) hatten einen wunderschönen Sommerurlaub 2018 auf Sardinien bei Salvatore. Die Unterkunft ist großzügig und bietet alles, was man braucht. Es ist sauber und der Pool ist eine großartige Abwechslung zu Strand und Meer. Salvatore ist ein sehr netter und geduldiger Gastgeber, der mit im Haus wohnt. Selbst zu nachtschlafender Zeit stand er uns zur Verfügung (unsere Gasflasche zum Kochen war leer). Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Great place for a quite and relaxing holiday

Roccarosa is a great place to be. The view is magnificient! The pool is very clean and relaxing. The owners are really nice and help with everything. The beautiful beaches are nearby when you have a car (without is not recommended).We've been there the second time and we'll come back this year. The appartments are nice and clean. Everything works and the garden is a pleasure. We love it!

Vacances reposantes dans un cadre idyllique

La résidence est magnifique, très belle et très bien entretenue. L'appartement était fort pratique, très propre, idéal pour une famille. La terrasse (joli petit salon) a été très appréciée. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le calme qui y régnait, la vue sur San Teodoro ainsi que la grande piscine. Nous recommandons vivement cette résidence! Vacances réussies assurées!

Great find in San Teodoro!

This is the second time we stayed at Roccarosa and we love it. Salvatore and Mariateresa and very welcoming. The apartments are well equipped, comfortable, with good internet connection but the TV does not work. We didn't mind since we spent most of our time on the beach or at the pool. There is a supermarket not too far away. All the beaches and restaurants are within a 5-10 mins drive. Yes, you will need a car. Overall, we love it and will come back!

Nice Place for Holidays!!!

We spent our holidays at the Residence Roccarosa in July 2014, two adults and two children (1,5 and 17). After long searching of suitable apartments we stopped at the Residence Roccarosa. The most important criterions for us were cleanness, swimming pool, seaview, terrace and and not farway location from the airport Olbia(20min.by car). The reviews which we found in the Internet helped us to make our decision. And we were not disapointed! The residence is really very well-maintained, equipped with style and love. There are all necesseties in the apartments. The swimming pool is cleaned every day and the water in it is very pure. You can relax in the whirpool enjoying the great seaview! The owners of the Residence Roccarosa Salvatore and Maria Teresa are very pleasant and hospitable people who are always ready to help you. If you want to cook yourself or enjoy delicious local wine, you can find everything in San Teodoro which is situated in 10 min. by car from the Residence. Fresh vegetables, local fresh fish... In some apartments the terrace is closed in the way that you don't worry of your baby. Not far from the Residence there are a lot of picturesque beaches for all tastes: with white fine sand, with red coarse sand, with a few people, with a lot of people...But you need a car if you want to visit them. It takes about 8-20 min. to get to the beaches. We were very happy with our staying at the Residence Roccarosa. Best wishes to Salvatore and Maria Teresa!

sehr gepflegtes, schönes Haus mit Traumblick !

Wir haben ziemlich kurzfristig entschieden, auf Sardinien Urlaub zu machen und waren über das Angebot an teuren, hässlichen Apartments echt erschrocken. Roccarosa ist echt eine wunderbare Ausnahme: extrem gepflegt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet - und gut betreut von den sehr angenehmen, freundlichen Besitzern. Der Pool ist super, der Blick von der schönen Sitzgruppe auf die Küste ein Knaller. Für kältere Tage (gibt es die auf Sardinien??) gibt es sogar ein Jacuzzi im Garten. Insgesamt eine echte Empfehlung!

Erste Wahl auf Sardinien! Fast perfekt!

Wir waren zwei Wochen im Juli 2013 zu Gast. Das Haus ist in einem hervorragenden und gepflegten Zustand. Der Blick auf die Bucht ist atemberaubend und das schöne grosse Schwimmbad sehr gepflegt. Keine billigen Plastikstühle, sondern hochwertiges Wellness Equipment findet überall seinen Einsatz. Liegen gibt es für alle genügend. Die Wohnungen haben überwiegend Meerblick und haben jede für sich besondere Vorteile. Unsere Wohnng hatte z.B einen direkten Meerblick und wir konnten besonders gut den Pool mit den Kids im Auge behalten. Andere hatten dafür z.B. eine grössere Terrasse oder innen mehr Platz. Plant ein, dass ihr wirklich erst um 17 Uhr in die Wohnng dürft und definitiv vormittags auschecken müsst, hier sind die Besitzer etwas inflexibel; das war aber von Anfang an klar kommuniziert, insofern keine Überraschung. Ihr werdet ansonsten ganz sicher keine bösen Überraschungen erleben, es ist einfach wunderschön dort. In den anderen Appartments waren einige nette Familien mit Kindern, so dass unsere beiden immer Spielkammeraden hatten. Aber auch kinderlose Paare finden hier Entspannung, da man um ein harmonisches Miteinander bemüht ist. Der grosse gemeinsame Grill animiert dazu, abends auch mal mit anderen Gästen zu quatschen, zu grillen oder ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Jeder aber so, wie er mag. Die Klimaanlagen klappen prima und die Nacht mit 26. Grad oder weniger ist immer entspannend. Die Eigentümer sind fast immer vor Ort, gerade deshalb ist das Anwesen so perfekt gepflegt, und helfen immer gerne. Die Chefin spricht englisch, Kommunikation klappt also recht gut. Eine Filterkaffeemaschine oder Spülmaschine wäre noch ein Traum, aber ansonsten ist die Küche gut ausgestattet. Einkaufen kann man im örtlichen Supermarkt recht unkompliziert, aber am Ortseingang von Olbia ca. 20 Min mit dem Auto entfernt findet man auch einen riesigen Auchand Market, der so ziemlich alles hat, was man sich vorstellen kann. Im naheliegenden San Theodoro gibt es jeden Abend einen schönen grossen Markt ab 21 Uhr - gerade Fauen werden hier Spass haben. Umliegende Strände bieten für alle Geschmäcker etwas. Der Strand la Cinta ist eher was für diejenigen, die eine Menge Gesellschaft incl. Strandbar haben wollen (der Steand ansich ist aber ein Traum). Aber wenn man einmal die Küstenstrasse 10-15 km hinauf fährt, findet man teilweise einsame Schnorchelbuchten mit weissem Sandstrand. Tipp: Zur Grotte Bue Marina 70 km in den Süden fahren und dort ein Motorboot mieten.

Super schöner, entspannter Urlaub!

Wir, eine Familie mit 2 Teenagern, hatten einen super erholsamen Urlaub in der Roccarosa. Der Pool ist super sauber und wunderschön! Die Vermieter sind total nett und kümmern sich sofort um alles. Die Ferienwohnungen sind toll ausgestattet und der Blick von der Poolterasse hinaus aufs Meer ist einfach unbezahlbar!! Man kann dort prima den Tag bei einem Glas Wein ausklingen lassen und die Lichter von San Teodoro betrachten, wirklich klasse! San Teodoro ist auch nicht weit und abends werden dort immer viele Stände aufgebaut. Das abendliche Bummeln war auch sehr entspannend für uns. Die Strände rundrum sind alle spitze, wir fanden sie sogar besser als an der Costa Smeralda. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und freuen uns schon sehr darauf! Auto ist natürlich ein Muss!

Toller, entspannter Urlaub in herrlichem Ambiente

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub in der Residenza Roccarosa. Die Villa liegt in der kleinen Gemeinde Lu Fraili am Berg mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer und den 6 km langen Strand la Cinta. Liegt man in den Liegestühlen am Pool hat man vor sich das Meer und hinter sich die Berge. Bei schon 27 Grad am Morgen war der Pool mehr als notwendig um sich vor einem heißen Tag und auch nach einem Strandtag noch mal zu erfrischen. Die Einrichtung in dem Apartment war schlicht und modern. Das Badezimmer ist besonders schön mit Ornamentik in den Kacheln, schönen Farben und einer tollen Dusche mit Radio, Licht und Massagebrausen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber als wir ankamen. Unsere 7jährige Tochter war begeistert, dass ihr Zimmer einen zusätzlichen Balkon hatte. Dank Klimaanlage konnte man am Abend die Wohnung etwas abkühlen und somit auch wunderbar schlafen. Die Vermieter wohnen selbst im Haus und sind somit für alle Fragen offen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool wird jeden Abend gereinigt. Es ist genug Platz auf dem Grundstück, so dass man anderen Gästen nicht auf der Pelle liegt. Es gibt eine kleine Lounge mit Blick aufs Meer mit gemütlichen Rattansesseln, so dass man am Abend ein kaltes Glas Weisswein mit beeindruckendem Blick aufs Meer genießen kann. Die Lage ist auch super. Man braucht zwar ein Auto um die Insel generell zu erkunden, aber in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich herrliche Strände und tolle Buchten sowie eine Flamingo-Lagune. In San Teodoro kann man wunderbar Essen gehen. Übrigens ist Sardininien -und Italien generell- für Menschen mit Gluten-Intoleranz zu empfehlen. In San Teodoro konnte unsere Tochter in mehreren Restaurant Pasta oder Pizza "senza gluten" bestellen. Fantastisch!

Unvergesslicher Sardinienurlaub

Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub in einem tollen Anwesen mit 7 Wohneinheiten, liebevoll gepflegte Anlage mit grossem Pool und atemberaubender Aussicht zum Strand von La Cinta. Das Besitzer-Ehepaar ist sehr nett und behilflich an allen Belangen. Wir kommen sicher irgendwann wieder, Sardinien ist einfach eine Reise wert. Die Residence ist sehr schön im Grünen am Hang gelegen, daher gute Aussicht auf die umliegenden Strände. Supermarkt und Restaurants ganz in der Nähe, Auto ist aber erforderlich, denn Sardinien hat so viel Schönes zu entdecken, da sollte man auf jeden Fall mobil sein. Freundliches Vermieterehepaar, die sich toll um uns gekümmert haben, hatten Probleme mit Internetempfang, wurde sofort gelöst, wollten Auflagen für die Liegen, bekamen sie prompt, unser Flug ging erst um 17.00 Uhr nach Hause, durften bis 14.00 Uhr am Pool und im Zimmer bleiben, ....... usw. Ach ja, falls man nicht italienisch kann, Mariateresa spricht perfekt Englisch. Haben verschiedenste Restaurants im Umkreis probiert, alle mit guter Fisch und Fleischauswahl, nettes Personal, sehr zuvorkommend alle. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Agriturismo Li Scopi, man hat dort ein Menü zum Fixpreis von € 33.- für Erwachsene und € 15.- für Kinder, incl. Wasser, unbegrenzt Wein, Kaffee, Schnapserl, an die 5-6 kalte Vorspeisen, 2 warme Vorspeisen, 2 Hauptgerichte, warme Dessert, kalte Desserts, ..... ein Hammer, kulinarische Gaumenfreude über 3 Stunden Wohnung: Geräumige Wohnung, gut ausgestattete Küche, Waschemaschine, nettes Badezimmer, TV Flat Screen mit allen erdenklichen Sendern auch KIKA für unsere kleine Tochter. Großer Steingriller zur freien Benutzung, toller Pool, täglich gereinigt.....

Wir (4 Erwachsene, 1 Kind) waren in 2010 in Roccarosa. Es handelt sich um eine sehr gepflegtes Anwesen. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Appartment war aber zu klein. Eines der beiden Schlafzimmer enthielt ausschliesslich 2 Betten und einen Stuhl. Für mehr, geschweige denn einen Schrank ist kein Platz. Der Pool erscheint auf den Photos weitaus größer als er real ist. Zum Baden (Anfang Juni) konnte er kaum genutzt werden. Wohl durch einen Berg-Bach gespeist war das Wasser eiskalt. Zu unserem Bedauern war die bergige Zufahrtstrasse in einem miserablen Zustand. Durch regentechn. Auswaschungen waren riesige Mulden entstanden, die ein Aufsetzen der Autos zwangsläufig nach sich zogen. Davon abgesehen haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe und tolle Aussicht genossen. Praktischerweise ist ein kleiner Einkaufsladen ganz in der Nähe, der alle Dinge zur Deckung des täglichen Bedarfs bietet.

Family Sardinia

My family (including two children under 2) had a wonderful time in Sardinia at this property. We were fortunate in that the other apartments were mainly empty during our stay, leaving the excellent pool mainly to us! The owners looked after us very well, though in our case, this meant mainly leaving us alone - however they did extend our check out time considerably which was extremely beneficial. It should be noted that this part of Sardinia is extremely seasonal in terms of infrastructure, many places are closed by mid September and in high season I guess it will be very busy. The weather during our stay was mixed, in truth poorer that I would have expected - but maybe we were unlucky?

In French !!!!

Si vous cherchez la location d’un appartement avec piscine dans un coin tranquille, ne cherchez pas plus loin !! Rien n’est laissé au hasard, les locaux, les jardins et la piscine sont d’une rare propreté. Avec mon épouse et nos 2 filles de 5 et 8 ans, nous avons déposé nos valises dans une bel appartement avec tout le confort nécessaire pour nos 2 semaines de vacances. Nous n’étions pas tombé dans le luxe mais nous avions toutes les commodités. C’était un appartement avec 2 chambres, terrasse et balcon. Il y avait en plus un canapé-lit dans le séjour ce qui aurait permis de loger 2 personnes de plus. Nous avions l’appartement de droite (en entrant dans la propriété) avec vue sur la piscine. Les jardins de la résidence (ainsi que la piscine) sont exposé à l’est ce qui nous permettait d’observer de magnifiques lever de soleil. De la piscine on avait une vue exceptionnelle sur la plage de La Cinta (qui semblait si proche alors qu’elle se trouvait à 1,5 km). Chose importante à signaler, il est primordial d’avoir un véhicule car l’endroit est hors ville. De toute façon, on ne va pas en Sardaigne sans louer une voiture. ;-) La résidence est tenue de manière exemplaire par un couple de la région d’Olbia qui vient de temps à autre passer une nuit sur place. Le propriétaire, très sympathique et serviable, est toujours occupé à la maintenance des lieux et au bien être des locataires, pendant que son épouse profite du chaud soleil sarde au bord de la piscine. Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement et une bouteille de vin sarde, offerte par les propriétaires, nous attendait dans le réfrigérateur. Les seuls points négatifs que je pourrais trouver sont : - L’étroitesse de la douche (je suis assez grand, je ne suis pas très à l’aise dans 65x65 cm) - La condensation de la climatisation coulait sur la terrasse, ce qui était assez glissant. - Pour accéder à la résidence, il faut emprunter un chemin de terre. - La profondeur de la piscine est de 120 à 250 cm. Pour un enfant de 5 ans c’est quand même un peu profond… Mais ça a permis à ma fille cadette d’apprendre à nager. ;-) Les points positifs : - La beauté des lieux - La tranquillité (sauf si travaux dans le voisinage) - La propreté impeccable - La température de la piscine - Le parking à côté de l’appartement - Il y a des transats et parasols en suffisance pour tout le monde - Serviabilité des propriétaires - Une vue superbe

Toller Urlaub

Wir waren nun zum 2.Mal in dieser wunderschönen und gepflegten Anlage. An einem Hang gelegen mit toller Aussicht auf den schönen Strand La Cinta, Frühstück auf der Veranda, Spass am Swimming Pool, es ist alles da was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Und sollte mal etwas fehlen, der Vermieter kümmert sich umgehend darum. Ob allein oder mit Kindern, Roccarosa ist ein kleines Ferienjuwel and der Goldküste.

Wonderful setting for a relaxing Italian holiday!

This was our first time to Sardegna and Roccarosa was the perfect setting from which to enjoy and explore this area south of Olbia, and about 4 KM from San Teodoro. The home is sufficiently equipped and comfortable, and our apartment had a beautiful view of the sea. The owners are very attentive to the maintenance of the property, both inside and out. The crystal clear pool is the cleanest we have ever swam in and the property grounds are immaculate. There is a little country store a couple hundred meters down the hill which has wonderful deli products such as prosciutto, cheeses, olives, sausage, vino and fresh bread. The villa's prominent position on the side of a hill provides wonderful vistas of the sea. To live la dolce vita...you have to do the rest: explore, sample the local food and Sardo wine, go to San Teodoro for cappucino...and enjoy!

We enjoyed our stay. The photos make the apartment look much better than it is, and the pool larger than it is. The pool is lovely and clean, grounds are well kept and the views are excellent. The appartment has a good view and is very clean, although in our view a bit basic. We were disturbed a lot by the plumbing noises from the other apartments every time the toilet was flushed although the owner said that we should have told him and he would have adjusted it. We felt that the linen charge is very expensive (beware no tea towels or dishcloths included) at 18 euros each - note no beach towels - we had to buy/bring these. There is no oven - just a microwave and grill and hardly any work surface. No cleaning materials supplied. The owners were friendly, and stayed up to 2.00am to meet us from our delayed flight, but we felt that to charge us 50 Euros for this was a bit much. I would recommend it, however although it is expensive.

A great, quiet little spot

We had a lovely week with our little boy who had his first ever experience in the swimming pool. The villa is very clean and the grounds and pool are well maintained. The owners were very welcoming and we would recommend this for couples or families. Not far from Olbia airport and the local beaches are beautiful.
