Hermosa, romántica y céntrica.

A 100 metros de la Piazza Sant'Oronzo, del castillo de Carlo V y de todas las habitaciones, un hermoso, amplio y luminoso apartamento en el primer piso de un edificio histórico que consta de una cocina equipada, un comedor, una sala de estar, dos dormitorios, un baño y dos lindos balcones pequeños. Bóvedas de estrellas en piedra de Lecce. Vigas de madera. Finamente amueblado, adecuado para una pareja, posiblemente con un niño de hasta 1 año, a quien le gusta quedarse en el centro histórico y tener todo a poca distancia, sin renunciar a su privacidad. No apto para niños.
El apartamento está ubicado en un pequeño patio y ha sido recientemente renovado. Lo alquilamos a un precio diario absolutamente promocional que es considerablemente más bajo que el promedio de la categoría (¡es un hogar y no una habitación!) porque al comienzo de la actividad. Estamos muy celosos de ello! En su interior encontrará todo lo que pensamos que podría necesitar. Desayuno, leche, café, té y galletas incluidos. También se incluye un set de bienvenida exclusivo para el baño y una excelente botella de vino local de Salento.
Es posible acceder a la cancha en automóvil en los horarios permitidos para descargar el equipaje, pero no se detenga. Los estacionamientos, por una tarifa, están a 50 metros de distancia. Hay plazas de aparcamiento gratuitas a 500 metros.
Muy conveniente para quienes llegan a Lecce en tren.
Una verdadera ganga solo para 2019, para personas atentas y respetuosas, dispuestas a corresponder nuestra cortesía.

Fantastic Location and Wonderful property

This is nicest property I have ever stayed in with Vrbo. The whole building is made of stone, and the craftsmanship is outstanding! The location is also perfect. Close to everything there is to see, yet quiet. Perfect in every way.

A Lovely Place to Stay in Lecce

The apartment is a short walk from EVERYTHING and such a nice place to begin and end the day. Luigi checked in with me before, during, and after our stay, and he made sure we were fully taken care of. I highly recommend!

Privacy in City Center

Fantastic property and location. Loved the rooftop terrace and 2 balconies—one facing each side of the cortile. About 3 minute walk to the heart of Centro Storico. I only want to warn that there are lots of stairs, so this would not work for those with mobility challenges. Also a but challenging—but do-able and worth it—if you have large luggage. Try to take a 22” bag or smaller if you stay here. It is very spacious and well equipped. An absolute gem and great value.

Terrific stay

We spent 4 nights at this property in the Centro Storica of Lecce to begin a month long visit to Italy. We can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and convenient apartment and enjoys an authentic Italian experience. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to do our own cooking. Luigi, the property manager could not have been more helpful in providing information on what to see and where to eat (which we did twice just 20 steps from the apartment at Mama Elvira’s). The rooftop terrace was also very nice for al fresco dining when we cooked ourselves. This deserves 5 stars across the board.

Great apartment, great location

The apartment is lovely, loads of character, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic location, very close to the main attractions and restaurants in Lecce's centro storico. Even though close to the centre it is on a quiet street so no noise problems. The owners are great, Luigi was easy to contact and his father and mother were very welcoming and helpful meeting us for check in and showing us where to park. A bottle of local wine and other supplies were left for us in the fridge and a voucher for morning coffee and pastry at a nearby cafe was a nice touch and much appreciated. Highly recommended, hopefully we'll make it back one day!

Beautiful, Spacious and Comfortable Apartment

This is a superb apartment with a private entry in the baroque city center of Lecce but away from the tourist traffic. It is near groceries, restaurants and shopping. There is a municipal parking lot very close by. The apartment is in a historic stone building; the thick walls and lofty ceiling (as well as air conditioning and a fan) keep it cool but there are plenty of wndows. The apartment has a rooftop terrace that is lovely in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The property manager was very attentive and welcoming.

Fantastic Experience

Everything about our time in this home in Lecce was wonderful. The house really feels like home, all of the furnishings are very comfortable, especially the beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our occasional dinners, when we weren’t eating at one of the many great restaurants within walking distance. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of local wine and everything we needed for our first breakfast. As our visit was during colder weather we only had a couple of chances to enjoy an evening aperitif on the rooftop patio, it is very pleasant and I’m sure it would be great when warmer. I cannot say enough positive things about Luigi, our host. Aside from being just an incredibly nice person he’s very responsive and made sure that every aspect of our stay was outstanding.If we are in Lecce again we would absolutely stay in this home again, it was an outstanding experience.

Perfect for independent travelers

We greatly enjoyed our extended stay in Lecce, and this elegant apartment close to the major piazza in the historic center was perfect for us. Each morning we could easily stroll into the piazza for coffee and pastry and enjoy the morning sunshine. The apartment is located in a cul de sac so it is very quiet and secure. The bathroom and kitchen are modern, and the bed and furnishings comfortable. There is ample room to spread out plans for activities. Luigi provided a welcoming basket of breakfast snacks and a bottle of wine for us. We like to be independent travelers, so the apartment was an excellent find for us, and I’m sure that others like us would enjoy a stay in this lovely apartment as well. If we return to the region someday, we would surely want to stay in the apartment again.

Incredible location, home, and host

The photos accurately show how beautiful this home is, reflecting the architectural style in Lecce. The location was perfect, just a block or so from the Piazza Sant'Oronzo with its great bakery, gelateria, restaurants, and people, at the beginning of the main walking street in the centro storico. Kitchen is small but had all we needed for our 4-day stay. Rooftop terrace was lovely for an afternoon glass of wine. Everything in this large home was clean. We used both bedrooms - note that the upstairs bedroom has an open loft and the downstairs bedroom has a curtain for a door so for us, snoring echoed from one floor to the other. Host Luigi responded quickly to all my emails and WhatApp texts before and during the stay. He is over-the-top kind, thorough, and welcoming. We had the lucky opportunity to cross paths with him at the Rome train station and met briefly for coffee - he is warm and gracious. If I were to return to Lecce, I would stay here for certain. Highly recommended.

Über den Dächern von Lecce

Luigi ist ein sehr liebenswürdiger und zuverlässiger Vermieter, der alles dafür tut, dass es einen Gästen gut geht. Wir hatten fast täglich Kontakt und konnten uns mit allen Fragen an Luigi wenden. Zu unserer Überraschung war der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Es gab einen leckeren Begrüssungswein, Wasser, Milch, Espresso und jede Menge Dinge, mit denen man ein gutes italienisches Frühstuck machen konnte. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig und wunderschön eingerichtet. Es gibt auch eine riesige Dachterrasse. Bitte beachten Sie, dass es viele Stufen gibt, die den Charm des Hauses ausmachen.

Séjour au centre de Lecce

Luigi est un hôte sans pareil: attentif et convivial et généreux. Nous avons eu des problèmes de wifi, pendant plus d’une journée, dont il n’était pas responsable, il a communiqué à de nombreuses occasions avec le fournisseur et nous a amplement dédommagés. Une bouteille de vin de la région nous attendait à notre arrivée ainsi que plusieurs items de base: bouteille d’eau, lait, café, sucre et dépannage pour le petit déjeuner. L’appartement est grand, l’éclairage impeccable, le lit confortable, le tout à 2 minutes du centre. Étant un couple sénior avec certains problèmes de genoux l’accès a été difficile: c’est une maison d’époque parfaitement entretenue mais avec 20 marches pour accéder à l’étage et encore deux étages pour accéder à la terrasse. Nous n’avons donc pas profité de cet espace. L’eau chaude nous a aussi causé quelques soucis. Mais considérant la qualité de l’hébergement, la gentillesse du proprio et la proximité au centre, à conseiller. Nous étions en transports public, à 15 minutes de la station. C’était parfait, apt climatisé et bien insonorisé.

Hi Nicole. Thanks for the review, but I have to say that I am a little bit disappointed for the 4 stars, which mean that you were not 100% satisfied. Internet was not my fault. Never happened before. It was a provider failure not under my control. And I tryed to compensate in some way. It was not due. The stairs are very well documented in the site. They are part of the house and anyway, easy to climb. About hot water I really don't know what are you talking about. You didn't say anything to me and hot water works perfectly. On the other end I have to say that we also had problems with you. If you brake a glass, you should inform the host. It's not nice to find our staff broken in the garbage can. Also, you letf the house leaving the hot water open in the bathroom. When the cleaning lady came, she found 40 degrees and the water flushing. This is unacceptable in a period when Europe ans Italy are suffering a really serious energy crisis. I tryed to be as much polite with you as possible. We didn't receive the same treatment.
