La casa de Acuna Family Lake (que pronto se llamará Forest Haven en Prairie Lake) está ubicada entre los altos pinos en Prairie Lake, a solo 2 millas al norte de la ciudad de Chetek, Wisconsin.

Nuestra hermosa casa junto al lago es simplemente perfecta para familiares y amigos de novias y novios que han elegido The Mill *, en Chetek para su día especial. Primavera, verano, otoño o invierno ... disfrutamos de dar la bienvenida a los invitados a nuestra casa. * Pídale a Nancy una referencia :-)

Ofrecemos el espacio perfecto para que su familia se escape ... para descansar, relajarse y jugar ... en un área que ofrece 4 temporadas de diversión recreativa local: pesca, natación, esquí acuático, equitación, senderismo, escalada en roca, una sala de cine, restaurantes, motos de nieve, esquí de nieve y mucho más. Para los pescadores ... días cálidos de verano, o heladas tardes de invierno ... La Cadena de los Seis Lagos de Chetek está repleta de Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Sunfish y Walleyes.

6 huéspedes dormirán cómodamente en esta casa del lago prácticamente nueva. 3 dormitorios y 2 baños completos, están llenos de toallas y sábanas blancas completamente nuevas. Disfrute de hermosas vistas del atardecer desde la cubierta o el muelle. La gran cubierta envolvente es el lugar perfecto para cenar. Se proporcionan una fogata y una parrilla de carbón para asar o asar malvaviscos. Pesque o nade desde nuestro muelle privado, donde lo espera un kayak y varios tubos interiores. El lanzamiento de un bote público está a 1/2 milla de distancia si elige traer su propio bote, o si desea aprovechar varios alquileres de pontones / botes en el área.

Great Location! Beautiful surroundings.Rhonda has hit all the marks on making this a comfortable experience for the traveler. The house has a cozy feel, kitchen is well stocked, and bedrooms are comfortable.Expectations and a supply list were provided so no unexpected surprises. Rhonda answered questions very quickly. This was a very good experience. Thank you Rhonda for sharing this lovely place with us.

The Lake is beautiful. It would have been nice to have windows on the lake side of the home, but you could see the lake a bit from the side windows. Also, a few more blankets would be nice. You do have to bring your own toiletries, but I believe the listing notes that. Overall, it was a clean, nice space to gather with family in a beautiful location.

We had the best time staying at the Acuna Lake Cottage! It is a lovely lake home that is very well-maintained and features every creature comfort you could think of for a relaxing time at the lake. Great place in Chetek!

We had a wonderful stay and have a second booking in August for a week. We are so glad to have the place again. Clean, large enough for six adults and a dog, loved the big deck, fire pit area, etc!

Classic Northwoods cabin

We had a great time in Chetek- the kayak was great and seeing so many stars was wonderful. The cabin had plenty of space for us all (5 of us) and the supplies were as stated in the listing. The hosts went above and beyond when we forgot something important- so appreciated.

Clean and comfortable.

We were surprised that basic staples, i.e. salt and pepper were not furnished. Just things left by previous guests, I think. Also, the route from the house to the dock was kind of sugar-coated. It ended up that Grampa couldn't do the slope to the steps. Plenty of hot water, great appliances, wonderful showers, lots of towels, etc. - tho short on dish cloths and dish towels. Plan to stream all TV viewing, reception via antenna is minimal. Took a lot of gerry-rigging to get the Packer game on Sunday! Reception once we got it was good. We'd go back, but not with Grampa.

Great but here are always improvements....

Very clean and well furnished....only suggestion is to provide basic essentials like toilet and paper towels/ dishwasher and laundry detergent :) We had to go out and purchase those. If your are not going to stock these, tell us before we arrive.

Our stay was great. The house had large rooms and was very clean. There was a weather alert in the area and the owner text us to make sure we were aware. We would absolutely stay here again.

we all had an amazing time! this lake rental was clean and the location on prairie lake is beautiful. We rented a 20ft pontoon form lake country Marina and were able to dock it on the lake front property with no problem but I would suggest not parking anything larger there.The neighborhood was peaceful and just what we needed. we all enjoyed swimming off the dock, fishing, kayaking, campfire and BBQ on the charcoal grill which is provided by the home owner. We had everything we needed and couldn't be happier with our stay.

Our usual friends fishing trip i think that this is our 5th year staying in this particular cabin.

The fishing was great until the High Pressure System hit. But we still found plenty to do in town.

Great to reconnect

We spent a long weekend visiting family and friends and were a short drive away from everything and everyone! We did all of our cooking at the house, just be aware to bring your own sponges/ and paper products in the kitchen.

Relaxing and picturesque

We loved staying here over the weekend of our son’s wedding. After each full day, it was so relaxing to go down to the water and unwind with the beauty of fall in its splendor surrounding us. Mornings were calm and lovely. The house had everything we needed and Ronda was very helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend it!

Beautiful Lake Sunsets

We were so pleased with this beautiful property on so many levels! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for the long weekend. A sturdy boat dock to tie up our pontoon, a wrap around deck with outdoor dining, sitting and even a hammock were just some of the outdoor amenities. The fire pit was the perfect place to relax and watch the sun set over the lake. The neighbors were all friendly and the location was mere minutes from Chetek. We would gladly stay again and again and again.

We moved our family of 4 from Chicago to the Northwoods of Wisconsin in the summer of 2014. We love living in the beautiful northeoods of Wisconsin. In addition to being a wife, and mother to 2 amazing young adults, I am a full time Elementary Special Ed teacher and work winter weekends at Christie Mountain Ski Lodge.

Those who know my family would say that we have the “gift of hospitality.” When we lived in Chicago we often hosted foreign exchange students in our home from around the world. After moving to the Northwoods of Wisconsin we wanted to have a comfortable place where we could welcome people from near or far to a relaxing experience. We take great pride in hosting…from the moment you inquire about a possible stay at our home on Prairie Lake, to your arrival and settling in…I am available for questions, suggestions or assistance!
