Casas de vacaciones de lujo - The Granary at Little Howle Farm, cerca de Ross on Wye

The Granary ha sido recientemente remodelado para combinar una sensación de cabaña tradicional con lujo de alta gama. Cuenta con dos habitaciones dobles con baño completo. Las camas se pueden configurar como king-size o dos camas individuales. Los cuartos de baño privados están totalmente equipados con bañera y ducha separada.

Una de las habitaciones está en la planta baja y es ideal para personas que tienen dificultades con las escaleras o para familias con niños pequeños.

La sala de estar tiene vigas a la vista originales y es de diseño abierto, combinando una cocina totalmente equipada, comedor y salón.

La banda ancha de fibra se proporciona de forma gratuita y el televisor es "inteligente" para permitir el uso de netflix (si tiene una cuenta)

Un patio privado cerrado se proporciona en la parte trasera de la cabaña con barbacoa, mesas y sillas al aire libre.

A great find

A very comfortable and well appointed cottage with great attention to details. Most welcoming hosts and a peaceful location in lovely countryside providing a great base for either relaxing or exploration. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay

We arrived on Boxing Day, 2 hours earlier than expected but was greeted by Amanda and was shown around the Granary accommodation. She explained in detail where everything was and how it worked, a really nice touch was the Xmas present that (Santa) had dropped off for our 4 year old granddaughter on her bed. The Granary was extremely well presented and all items you would require were to hand, another lovely touch was the breakfast for the next morning all ready with hand written notes, also a fresh baked loaf was dropped at the door at 0800hrs. Amanda & Derek we’re excellent hosts even at 8 o’clock on New Year’s Eve came around with some mistletoe, all in all I would highly recommend staying at this property if touring the area or want a quite time away. We will be returning in the summer months for a long weekend to see more of the attractions and beautiful area of the Forest of Dean. Amanda & Derek a big thank you from all my family for hosting us over the new year period and the thoughtful little things you did for our granddaughter 😁👍 Isabel & Michael

Little Howle Farm es el resultado de un sueño, y las 4 casas que la componen son completamente maravillosas, como sus propietarios. Pudimos verlas todas y todas nos encantaron. No mires más y ven aquí! It's absolutely perfect. Don't search and more and stay here! Las. Casas se han rehabilitado recientemente, y la rehabilitación se ha hecho con mucho gusto y todo lujo de detalles. Nos sentíamos como en nuestra propia casa. Es la casa mejor equipada en la que hemos estado nunca, y eso que hemos estado en muchas. La cocina tiene de todo completamente, y se nota que es nueva, además de muy bonita y cómoda. El comedor es amplio y luminoso y da a una terraza preciosa. Las habitaciones amplias, luminosas, bonitas y muy bien decoradas, con detalles como secador de pelo en cada una, cesto de ropa sucia en cada una, tocador en cada una, estores que tapan bien la luz, etc. Los baños son enormes con ducha y bañera ambos, con suelo radiante y una decoración con mucho gusto. La ubicación es lo que buscábamos, un sitio tranquilo en la campiña inglesa bien ubicado para disfrutar y visitar un entorno maravilloso. Ross-on-Wye, el pueblo más cercano es muy bonito y tiene de todo. Y lo mejor de todo, los propietarios. Amanda es un encanto de mujer, se nota que Little Howle Farm era su sueño. No podía habernos tratado mejor. Enamoró a toda mi familia. Tuvo mil detalles con nosotros. Nos dolió mucho tener que irnos. La mejor casa en la que hemos estado nunca. No te la pierdas.

The Granary

Lovely cottage with everything we could need for our stay. The layout is perfect with two en-suite bathrooms, a lounge and kitchen area. It was a shame the weather wasn’t better so that we could enjoy the outdoor garden area. Lovely touch from Amanda with the scones which were much appreciated. Thank you!

Really nice property for a quiet stay

A really nice property in a quiet country location close to Ross-on-Wye. Nice spots to sit in the sun with a glass of wine. Accommodation is just as the pictures show and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommended. (Just be aware, as expected, there are no shops/pubs/restaurants etc. within walking distance).

Everything we could have hoped for, delightful hosts!

Property is high spec with lovely views and nice patio garden. Great location to explore Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Highlights are 1) rental canoeing on Wye, stunning scenery, accessible to all ages, 2) Forest of Dean Cycle centre, like a mini ski resort for mountain biking, with beginner, intermediate a dceasy family loops. But also days out at local castles and towns (Ross and Monmouth). Hosts adorable and lovely interesting and well travelled folk. Not intrusive, just friendly and open. Made us delicious scones and invited us to feed neighbouring farms lambs!!! Heart warming!!!

Winter break at Little Howle

We stayed in the Granary, a delightful cottage that was comfortably furnished to a high standard and very well equipped. There were many thoughtful touches, both inside and out. The hosts were great, and nothing was too much trouble. This was the perfect area for getting away from it all with numerous walks, both close by, and further afield. Ross on Wye was very appealing during the festive season.

Delightful cottage with delightful hosts

From the moment we arrived Amanda was a joy. She made us feel at home straight away and made a daily fuss of our daughter. She went far in excess of what you image a host to do on a number of occasions. The cottage is high spec and comfortable, with all the equipment you require for a weeks self catering. The area is quiet, but great location for the Wye Valley region. We would recommend it to everybody.

really lovely

The whole property is beautifully thought through and executed, with design that doesn't compromise on form or function and lovely details wherever you look. Amanda was a lovely and thoughtful host, and we felt very welcome and treated like friends. The area is stunning, and we had the break we really needed, with rest, relaxation, beautiful views and an active day canoeing on the Wye.

WOW, what a fantastic place to stay.

Derek and Amanda are fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond. The Granary was beautifully done to a very high standard and had absolutely everything you would need for an enjoyable holiday. The beds were so comfortable. Summons yat was a lovely place to visit and also Monmouth. There is a lovely river walk in Ross on Wye and there are also some lovely shops. We will definitely be back and hopefully I will be able to fit some crafting in with Amanda. Oh, I can’t write a review and not mention the delicious scones and lemon drizzle cake that Amanda made for us. They were the lightest scones I have ever tasted, Thank you Amanda.

We are originally from Kent. We saw this amazing property, then managed to buy it! We absolutely love it here. We have always worked with people and really enjoy meeting our guests and doing our best to make sure their stay is what they want it to be. We are both practical people and enjoy crafts, socializing and sports.

We love that Little Howle Farm is so calm and peaceful. It's great to be by the river with people, or in town in a busy pub, then home to our beautiful spot, with only cows and sheep for neighbours!

Everyone comments on how well the barns have been converted and to such a high standard. We have many returning guests. We don't offer hot tubs and busy bars, what we offer is somewhere to relax, reconnect with family and friends and recharge.
