RENTERS BEWARE!
Had this been on the listing it would have DEFINETLY swayed our decision to NOT stay there! Hot water takes 5-6 minuets to heat as water heater is in the back. If all three baths is used at once water temperature might fluctuate. This was a huge inconvenience! Along with failing to mention there is no hall restroom in the home , so the person staying in the 4th bedroom or any guest who came over had to knock on one of the other 3 bedroom doors to have to use the restroom and that also meant being woken up at night when my kid has to use it. The back entrance is extremely dangerous. The steps are tiny and narrow. One of the adults in our group fell down the steps and got scraped up pretty bad. The home it self when we arrived smelled of cleanliness and was nice and tidy , but it was dusty therefore triggering our allergies every night when we got back. Also the comforters in the hall closet smelled dirty and unwashed. The master bedroom sink clogged up on the first use of brushing my teeth. When I told iris the next morning she responded by tell me “you know they’re two other restrooms in the house” of course I know that I told her. She then told me to use the plunger to unclog it as it was trapped air. I used the plunger which I immediately regretted bebause feces stuck in it from being used in the toilet came out and was floating in the water. Iris text me the following day and I think she realized her responds was rude and tried to correct herself . I refused the plumber since the home did not have a safe. I told her we would not use the sink, so the rest of our trip we used the kitchen sink to brush our teeth, again no hall bathroom. Long story short she claims we made LOTS of damage to her home and made a claim and put a hold on my deposit. It was minimal things, like blood on the sheet from the cut on the stairs, and a cheap small tree my 3yr old broke. Oh also she claimed my husband smoked in her house which no he didn't. He has a medical license to smoke, and I don't even allow him to smoke in my own home much less someone else's. Before leaving I cleaned up, and left house as was per her request. I also left all my hair tools there, she told me to pay for shipping to send it back. This home is not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere. Iris Keep the Hair tools and deposit, you obviously need it more than I do. First time this has ever happen to my family, and we've been renting from here for over 10+ yrs! Only upside Late checkout.
