Esta encantadora casa se encuentra un Olivar de 10.000 m2 en la montaña del Puig Major con vistas a la 'Sierra de Tramuntana', declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad en la categoría de Paisaje Cultural por la UNESCO. Ideal para disfrutar de la paz y la tranquilidad de un entorno rústico. A sólo 8 minutos de Fornalutx, a 15 minutos de distancia del pueblo de Sóller, así como la playa de Puerto de Sóller. La casa es un ejemplo de vida sostenible, utilizando la energía solar. Ofrece mobiliario de buen gusto de madera y la artesanía de piedra. Es parte de una finca más grande, independiente y privada, con acceso y aparcamiento propio, rodeado de árboles, huertos y marjales. Lugar ideal para caminar, hacer excursiones, paseos maravillosos a través de los paisajes de montaña de las inmediaciones, son fácilmente accesibles.

Fornalutx ha sido votado como el pueblo más bonito de España en varias ocasiones. Situado en un valle de las montañas de la Sierra de Tramuntana, rodeado de naranjos, limoneros y olivos, con sus marjales de piedra de estilo morisco. Soller es considerado como uno de los pueblos más bonitos y románticos de la isla. Ambos pueblos con sus casas de piedra, naranjos, etc. Encontrará variedad de bares y restaurantes con su encanto especial y la cocina tradicional mallorquina. También tienen su propio mercado local, bancos y tiendas. En el Puerto de Sóller podrá encontrar algunos bares y buenos Restaurantes donde seguro disfrutará de pescado fresco y carne también, algunos situados en primera línea del mar. Desde el Puerto se realizan excursiones en barco para visitar la costa norte (gran recorrido-GR). También se practica el ciclismo de montaña.

We had a most amazing time at the cottage. Thank you Mari for easy and quick communication and thank you Tomeu for your hospitality. We loved everything about the cottage. Our favourite was terrace outside, we spent there every night. Sky at night was unbelievable. We never seen so many stars ! You definitely need a car to access the property, but Port de soller beach is less thaen 20 min away. Cottage has got everything if you want to cook, but there is also nice restaurant with amazing view less than 5 min away. We definitely be back.

Georgous property, fabulously private and remote, but in the height of summer, could really do with air conditioning.It's off grid, solar powered, so I appreciate that this is not an easy ask.

This was a great mountain escape close to the small towns and mountainous drives and trails. The kitchen with the wood fireplace was fantastic as we often chose to make our meals and enjoy a roaring fire. The bonus was listening and seeing the sheep and baby lambs in the farm next to the house. It was a lovely stay and we would come again.

Very nice house in the mountain

Very pleasant stay. The house is confortable, the landscape is amazing and we had very neighbours (sheeps and lambs 😊) And thanks to Mari’s warm welcome and advice.

Fabulous slice of heaven in the country

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was the perfect place to get off the grid and enjoy some peace and tranquility. The home is nestled among groves of olive trees, with spectacular views all around. The herd of sheep was an added bonus...we were entertained by them daily!

Es Clot

If you want to get away from it all this is a great place. The outside cooking area was especially good where we cooked on a wood fire every night plus there was a wood fired oven for pizzas etc. Good location for walking. Beautiful location amid the olive groves.

Beautiful mountain location and rustic charm!

We were delighted with the beautiful mountain location of this traditional house. Nicely remote from more touristy areas, while only a few minutes drive from the superb village of Fornalutx. The property was full of rustic charm! Our favorite moment was enjoying sunset with a glass of wine on the patio with the background sound of sheep bells.

We absolutely loved our time spent in this peaceful setting. If you love the sound of birds and enjoy hiking, privacy, an amazing location, central to so many beautiful towns, you will love it here. Set in a mountain valley on an ancient olive farm with amazing indoor/outdoor living complete with outdoor kitchen, eating area and patio furniture to sit and gaze at the stars. We were sad to leave this beautiful home and the friendly sheep! Thanks to Tomeu and Mari for the great communication, friendly tips and great hospitality!

10 days stay in FORNALUTX

The house is perfectly situated in an amazing location, and the host personally guided us during check-in. We were delighted to find fresh oranges and lemons from the property's trees upon arrival. The house was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen containing everything we needed.Communication with the host was exceptional - they responded quickly and provided excellent support throughout our stay. This property comes highly recommended for its location, cleanliness, amenities, and outstanding host service!

Calm and relaxing place

The house had all that is needed, and in addition a bread oven and an outdoor fire place. There are plenty of mallorquinian earthen ware to directly cook in the fire, this was a great experience. The owner provided us with oranges and lemons from his orchard twice, and Mari organised everything perfectly.

Rural property to get away from it all

A lovely quiet property within a short drive to facilities of Fornalutx and Soller (one of my favourite areas), plus a great base to explore the wider mountain range. We would have liked to explore some of the walking trails in the area, but the lovely weather was just too hot! Mari made us feel very welcome (even at our very late time of arrival and remained a message away from any other help/information that we needed - a perfect host!

Lovely peaceful and beautiful place

My son and I had a fantastic 5 night stay at this beautiful and peaceful place. Here you really get into gear and relax completely. There is no wifi in the house and the mobile signal is very poor, but even with a teenager you can do without SoMe for a few days. Actually think it's healthy. The warmest recommendations from here. This place is a hidden gem in complete isolation set amongst the mountains. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The bed is memory foam and was SO comfy! After 3 weeks of travelling we had the best sleeps here. The host and property manager were very easy to deal with from booking to check in. If you want to experience serenity tucked away from the main touristy attractions then this place is perfect for you. Only a short drive away from Fornalutz, we liked to start our mornings with a small hike around the surrounding villages, starting in Fornalutz, before trying out the local artisan bakery and cafes. Port Soller is a 20 minute drive away which was perfect for afternoon swims. This place is perfect if you don’t mind having to drive everywhere, it’s definitely worth it for the experience of this gorgeous property!

Beautiful peaceful location

The rural setting of this typical Mallorcan house is in the most perfect setting amongst ancient olive trees with views of the mountains from every window. Sheep were our neighbours. The inside is fairly basic but adequately equipped.You will want to spend more time outside than in. Take care on the track down to the house if you don't want to damage a tyre as we did!. Local restaurant at the Mirador) (5 minutes drive) is friendly and good value.

Lovely quiet location, A perfect antidote to the crowds. Tomeu very welcoming with some lovely oranges and lemons from his farm, Coming from the Cotswolds we know all about sheep (!) but these were particularly charming with their bells and friendly manner, loved watching them especially during feeding time. Stunning location, only 10 minutes from Fornalutx which is beautiful with lovely restaurants and a beautiful outlook over the mountains. Very much enjoyed driving in the Tramontana mountains with its beautiful villages and stunning scenery and a lot of cyclists!! Thank you, Tomeu, for a lovely week In your beautiful cottage/Casa!

The whole valley all to ourselves!

This house is fantastic if you are really looking for peace and quiet. At first we were surprised, the silence was deafening - just birds chirping, the bells of the sheep and the occasional frog croaking, no internet. An idyll! Tomeo, the owner, gave us a very friendly welcome and brought us a basket full of oranges and lemons from his garden. One morning he surprised us with croissants for breakfast from the great bakery in Fornalutx - very nice! It was really hard to say goodbye to this extraordinary place after a week. :-)

Vacaciones rurales

Hemos estado en una casa rural, con los pros y las contras q supone. Estábamos alejados de todo por lo q para mi supone un plus. Teníamos una bonita barbacoa y un porche q utilizamos para cenar, desayunar o almorzae.
