Una gran casa de vacaciones de lujo con dos habitaciones, una suntuosa doble y una doble que se pueden unir para hacer una cama doble. Tiene un lujoso baño familiar con bañera grande y ducha separada. El amplio salón comedor abierto cuenta con hermosas vigas de roble hechas a mano y una magnífica cocina totalmente equipada.

La propiedad comparte un patio privado para cenar al aire libre en las noches de verano y un área segura para que jueguen los niños más pequeños. Se proporciona un paquete de bienvenida de cortesía para todos los visitantes.

Iris se encuentra en The Digey, una de las calles más emblemáticas del distrito de Downalong de St Ives. La estrecha calle adoquinada conecta Fore Street, cerca del puerto con Back Road West, cerca de la playa de Porthmeor, al otro lado del istmo.

The best holiday let that we have ever stayed in ( and we have done a lot)

we have already booked again for next year ,It is immaculate and in the ideal location right in the centre of st ives. Everything about the place is just quality , its even got a tv to watch while you are in the bath. 2 minor drawbacks are the road outside is very narrow , only a small car can get through the Digey , but you can stop at either end to load luggage. parking provided is a long way out of town . but we rented a parking space in town no bother.

Can’t recommend enough! Our second stay here and the standard has not dropped! Great communication throughout, housekeeping went above and beyond (thank you Marie) the apartment is well equipped, everything you could possibly need! The perfect location, we will be back again for sure!

A perfect place to stay

What an amazing place! Looking at the map, I hadn’t appreciated just how great the location was — super handy if you have small children. It honestly couldn’t have been better! The house itself was also incredible. Beautiful “St Ives” interior with lovely colours and a nautical feel. Everything was so well thought out. There were nightlights downstairs, which were great as there are a couple of steps. As a bathroom designer, I really appreciated the hand showers, the spec throughout was really high. Even the mugs! We will definitely be booking again.

Iris Stay

My second stay at Iris and every bit as enjoyable as the first. The property is very well equipped and so close to everything in St Ives. Booking process has always been easy and efficient. I find as soon as I leave I am already planning a return visit! Highly recommended.

November Stay

Beautiful property in an ideal location. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Very welcoming environment and an incredibly helpful and generous arrival package which is such a bonus after a long journey. Always a relief when you know you can have a cuppa immediately! Booking and follow up all went very smoothly. I’ve been to St Ives a number of times and this is the nicest property I have stayed in. Don’t think I would want to book anywhere else now.

Outstanding, perfectly located cottage with gorgeous interior decor

Outstanding cottage with gorgeous interior decor immaculately presented by super-helpful housekeeper Marie. Location couldn’t be more perfect, with all of St Ives’ attractions a few steps away. You will want for nothing during your stay. The accommodation is high-spec throughout and styled beautifully. So convenient to have some welcome essentials provided, so you can relax immediately with tea and a biscuit.

Phenomenal

If I could find a better word than phenomenal to describe this place then I’d use it. Perfect location, stunning interior which was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. We’ve been coming to St Ives for over twenty years staying in various cottages and apartments and this place tops the lot for us.Thank you to the owners for providing such luxury in St Ives!

Lovely week in ideal location

The cottage is perfectly located right in the heart of the old town, just off the seafront. Very spacious and nicely furnished it’s ideal for a family holiday. The facilities were to the highest standard and the owners were very accommodating - we had twin babies and they brought in two cots, two high chairs and two buggies for us at no extra cost.

Lovely Christmas stay

Lacks personal touch, parking quite far but good. Fire not working in lounge Too cold downstairs in the bedrooms as the owners have the heating preset to 14 degrees if it had been a rainy cold weekend it would have been rather unpleasant. However location is amazing and cottage has been designed exceptionally well, housekeepers friendly and worked hard to get us in at 4pm, however I did find 4pm check in rather late and 10am checkout too early

Perfect Stay!

We had a fabulous time at Iris. The property is absolutely beautiful - so comfy, cozy and well presented. The location is perfect - especially being less than 30 seconds walk from St Ives Bakery and their famous Cruffins! It was great being so central, yet also being so quiet with not many people wandering up and down the Digey. We will definitely be back!!

High end interiors and rich quality throughout - each room is straight from an interiors masterclass and you are spoilt with every detail - from the emma Bridgwater seaside mugs and lobster plate (my favourite!) to the gorgeous flames in the remote gas log burner! The only place we will stay xx

Our second stay at Iris cottage this year and yet again we were not disappointed! on this visit we also brought friends who were equally as happy as us. Communication from booking to arrival was good, on arrival the cleanliness and finishing touches were again, impeccable. Iris cottage is so conveniently located in the heart of St Ives, close to shops, restaurants and beaches a perfect location. Having the opportunity to make use of the secure parking negates the need to worry about what you'll do with the car, using the walk up the hill to collect a perfect opportunity to walk off the over indulgence of pasties! If we were to be critical when staying with more than the two of us the lounge area could accommodate a further sofa to provide relaxed seating for all four adults staying, buth this is being very picky!! Fantastic accommodation 5*Plus, and yes we will be back again!!! Thank you

Beautiful house, beautiful area

We had a fantastic week stay and the sun shone the whole time! The house is located in the heart of St Ives and is decorated and furnished to a very high standard, there is nothing more we could have asked for except to have stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

Amazing space and location. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best holiday home experience my wife and I have ever had. When the booking was confirmed we received a really detailed welcome pack with all the information you would ever need. Included in this was the option of a secure parking space a 10/15 min walk from the beach front. Very handy as the parking in St Ives can be a bit of a nightmare. When we arrived, we'd been provided with fresh bread from the local bakery, eggs, butter, jam and biscuits, and as much tea and coffee as you could drink. It made us feel at home right away and got our holiday off to a great start. The space was so calm and relaxing that we found ourselves spending far more time there than we generally would. The gated central courtyard was a lovely addition and in our case, with 2 small children, it provided a safe space for them to play. The location is amazing. You're just one step away from the hustle and bustle of the harbour, you have Porthmeour beach 2 mins away and 90% of all the shops and restaurants are less than a 5 min walk. I genuinely don't think you'll find a better place to stay when visiting St Ives. We'll certainly be back.

Call Park problem

Call Park problem We had problems to get out of your car park. When we entered the car we got in all right. But then the door was closed when we wanted to leave the car park. From inside the code we had would not work anymore. That was at night so there was nobody to reply on the phone when I called. I left a message on the voice recorder but nobody called me back. After 30 minutes we managed to give in the code number from the outside position. This also needed several trials. We were already thinking of climbing over the fence. Or contact our friends whom we left behind in the cottage to bring some food and drink and stay in the car for the night

Beautiful Cottage, not without a few issues though

Iris is a beautiful cottage in a great location, and is well maintained. There was safe storage for surfboards, a welcome outdoor shower to wash sand off outside and the living area was great for having friends round. Overall we found it value for money, and had a good holiday there, but there were a number of issues we didn’t expect. It was not ready for us at the correct time, in fact it was nearly 5pm before the housekeeper had finished (she was lovely and very polite), and the drain in the shower was totally blocked with sand so the plumber had to come out to clear it. In addition to this the blinds downstairs are not sufficient (I had to buy an eye mask from Amazon to be able to sleep), people talk loudly in the street outside the bedroom window in the middle of the night and the car park is miles away (don’t be fooled by the comment that you can get a taxi to and from it, as all St Ives taxi companies refused to do the journey for us.

I grew up in Stockton on Tees the centre of the industrial north east. The greatest event of the year for myself, my brother and sister was the annual trip to St Ives for our summer holiday, despite the long drive and the constant “Dad are we nearly there yet”, the first view of the beautiful bay as you come into the town never failed to take our breath away and fill us with excitement for the days ahead. Those holidays gave me such fond memories, I wanted to re-create the experience for my son and grandson, so in 2015 I purchased the three cottages which were in a near derelict condition with the vision of creating some wonderful holiday cottages where the magic could be shared not only with friends and family but also our valued guests. Today we still come to St Ives for our Summer holiday and what a joy it is to see my mother and father spending time on the beach with their children, grandchildren and 5 year old great grandson. We hope you enjoy the living spaces we have provided and that you can create some wonderful memories of your own with your friends and families.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The cottages were purchased in 2015 due to their prime location on the prettiest and most photographed street in St Ives. The properties were in a near derelict condition and sadly in need of lots of tender loving care.
It was our vision to transform the cottages into beautiful spaces where holiday makers could enjoy time out in luxury surroundings. Over a two-year period, we slowly and on occasions painfully, saw our initial concept transformed into reality with the creation of Iris, Wella and Juliot.
With the renovations completed in early 2018 we are delighted to offer visitors to St Ives the opportunity to relax in complete luxury and enjoy the stunning surroundings that our transformation team have created. We truly hope you live our dream…

The cottage has been completely renovated by local builders and craftsmen using reclaimed timber and slate. The interiors have been professionally designed to the highest of standards with sumptuous furnishing and glorious décor giving a real feeling of luxury living. Iris is very spacious and is ideal for family or friends to enjoy a wonderful week away. The cottage is close to the beach, bustling harbour and local amenities giving you everything you need for a fabulous stay. Iris is luxury living at its best.
