Inchcape Seaside Villas - Seaside Cottage A - La suite Honey Moon "The Seaside-Cottages", puede considerarse un buen ejemplo de un apartamento de estilo indio occidental bellamente diseñado y acabado. Mientras que los tres Seaside Cottages se extienden en dos pisos, tienen un dormitorio tipo loft, una sala de estar, una cocina y un baño en la planta baja, varían ligeramente en su diseño. El Seaside Cottage A tiene tres áreas de terraza, todas con vista al mar de una manera u otra. Una gran terraza de madera con mesa, sillas y sillones está conectada a la habitación de arriba del desván, lo que hace de esta terraza un escenario perfecto para ver la salida del sol en el este y observar los hermosos colores en el cielo cuando el sol se pone al oeste sobre el Mar Caribe. El Seaside Cottage viene con más de 70 canales de televisión, sistema estéreo con base para iPod, teléfonos celulares opcionales, acceso a Internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad complementario, caja de seguridad y mucho más. Las habitaciones en el Seaside Cottages están equipadas con camas queen size. Se puede acomodar una tercera persona en el sofá cama en el área de la sala de estar, pero como la unidad es un diseño totalmente abierto desde el piso hasta el techo, la ocupación ideal es de 2 personas. Un servicio de limpieza limitado, cambio de toallas y sábanas (a solicitud) cada tres días ya está incluido en nuestras tarifas. Among the top vacation experiences we've had!

We have multi-decade experience throughout the Caribbean and Central America, my wife and I know a great vacation destination when we see one. And after a week at Inchcape Seaside Villas, these remarkably lovely villas just shot to the top of our list of favorites! We stayed in Cottage C, a roomy two-level accommodation with a water view from the upstairs bedroom and ultra-private balcony. From every important perspective: location, cleanliness, service, comfort (beds, showers, furnishings, kitchen), privacy and more, Inchcape delivers an absolutely wonderful holiday experience. Beginning with my very first email with Wolfgang, communication about our visit to Inchcape was exceedingly professional and reassuring. The property is impeccably clean inside and out, and the onsite staff is not only professionally exceptional, but genuinely welcoming, warm and friendly. I would be remiss if I failed to call out Ginger, our absolutely outstanding housekeeper who we are now privileged to feel is a new friend. We are also very much in love with Barbados, and intend to return for a third time next year, returning to Inchcape once again. Not only will we be repeat Inchcape customers for life, but our recommendation to others to vacation at this wonderful destination is made wholeheartedly and without the slightest reservation. We simply have nothing but positive memories of our week here. Thank you, Wolfgang!

Great location, quiet and relaxing

We stayed in a seaside villa which achieved our hopes and expectations. Great location good clean facilities friendly people. The rooms and configuration were very good with direct access into a beautiful garden that led onto the beach. Would love to visit again. Beatiful Island and friendly people! TIP's; Make sure you hire a car as it is a bit remote but driving is easy. Our first night at Inchape villa I returned in the dark in the car and got hopelessly lost until a friendly local guided me back. My phone satnav/GPS didn't work so take note of your route back. All the roads/houses look the same and minimum street lighting

Der ideale Ort zum Ausspannen in ruhiger und komfortabler Umgebung. Die Unterkunft ist ideal auf die klimatischen Bedingungen abgestimmt. Man findet auf dem riesigen Grundstück immer eine Stelle wo man völlig ungestört ist. In diesem Stil gibt es keine Alternative an der Südküste / Silversands auf Barbados. Hoher Wiederholungsfaktor.

A slice of Heaven!

Fabulous accommodation in a stunning and relaxing location right on the ocean, ideal spot to 'escape' reality for a time with plenty of sun loungers and a hammock in the lush garden to enjoy the sea breeze. Excellent communication with Wolfgang in making booking and throughout. Airport transfer organised for us for a smooth arrival to our beautiful well equipped villa which was spotless. Car hire can also be organised but we didn't avail of this as we were there for the kite surf which was right on our doorstep. Norma and her house keeping team are fantastic, extremely friendly, polite and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, although you don't need to ask for much as it's already there. The quality and cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped, with gas cooking and a big fridge/freezer. The quality of the WiFi is fantastic. There is a Surfers Bar within a 5 minute walk which is chilled or catch the local minibus to Oistins Fish market where you can have your choice of the day's catch expertly filleted for your dinner that evening, amazingly value and freshness. Oistins Fish Friday not to be missed, recommend Pats Place to eat but get there early as it gets really busy, but great atmosphere. Luna Café also fabulous for a romantic meal. Ask for table near seafront. To sum up, Inchcape is a slice of heaven!

No other place I have seen and stayed at combines so many important features as the Inchcape Seaside Villas do. Maintaining such a high standard over years says a lot about management and owners. The booking procedure, pick up from the airport, organizing a rental car to be delivered to the rental unit right after the arrival at the property, free parking a truly high speed WIFI ( which is complementary for all guest), very well maintained and perfectly equipped units, spotless grounds and a white sand beach which is hard to beat, what else could we have asked for? Thanks Inchcape, we will be back as soon as possible!!!!

Relaxing experience staying at Inchcape Villas

Enjoyed 9 sun-drenched days in Barbados staying at Inchcape.Wolfgang was a great host & took care of any issue that may have arisen.The property was on the Water right where the Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea.The location is perfect for the South Side beaches & easy access to both the West & East Coast beaches.The beaches were all outstanding from calm/tranquil waves on the west to more active wave beaches on the East coast.I will be back to stay at Inchcape.Very affordable and safe.

perfect place to stay on Barbados

This location is perfect to stay some days. From you reach all interesting points of Barbados. Our apartment was clean and well equipped. The rooms were very comfortable, there was a terrace and a roof terrace. The hotel is situated in a large green and the beautiful beach is just beside the hotel The owner and the team, they all were very friendly, and they helped us to find nice places on the island. We would come here again!

Wonderful Apartments, best organisation

The compex is located directly at the sea with a nice, green lawn in front of it. The buildings are in a remarkable good condition and furnished tastefully. The guests were mainly from US, Canada and from all over Europe. Everybody has been very relaxed and pleasant. The owners are very nice and helped us with organizing reservations, rental car and excursions. We can highly recommend this place and will get back there soon!

DELIGHTFUL BARBADOS BEACHSIDE GETAWAY

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful 21/2 weeks at Inchcape . We rented Seaside Cottage A . We particularly enjoyed being steps away from the beach , great for walks ,paddling in the surf and watching the intrepid kite surfers skimming , and often airborne , over the waves. The loft bedroom is delightful, surrounded by traditional jalousie shutters , with cool trade winds and the sounds of the surf to lull us to sleep .It has a large adjoining deck where we ate most meals while enjoying the ocean views . The maid service was excellent . The maids were so nice , quite charming , very thorough , efficient and accomodating to our every request.Wolfgang and Rosi are very lucky to have them on their team ! For transportation to and from Miami Beach at OIstins , where we liked to swim , and buy groceries from the well stocked supermarket we relied on Rodney , Wolfgang's local taxi service , who also met us in and delivered us back to the airport . If you are looking for a restful Barbados holiday , away from the busy commercial resorts on the west coast , this is just the place !

Barbados is my favourite place for kitesurf/surf with Rosi and Wolfgang we feel "at home" not as guests, we come here very often, both in winter and summer I believe it is the best accomodation to unite surf sport and the quality of comfort and relax

Excellent place to stay

Such a great place to stay. Really liked the cottage and the surroundings. We spent a lot of time out on the patio looking at the lovely garden listening to the sea. The place is not at all touristy which we prefer. Wolfgang and the team were really helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful and well run

I love Barbados and the people of Barbados, and I love the Inchcape Seaside Villas and everything around and about those. The property of Inchcape is in a perfect location, has a wonderful beach, what else to rave about? Oistins with it’s fish market and food stalls, beaches with calm water next to surf spots, how could it be more perfect? I found my spot in paradise!

Perfect stay at the Inchcape Villas

We ( a couple) spent two weeks in June 2015 at the Inchcape Villas and we warmly recommend this place.Of course you always have to check where the site is located in order to avoid any disappointments-but we enjoyed it extremely that Inchcape Villas is not right in the center of tourism. The ground is gorgeous-a real paradise! The facilities are provided with all you need and are the beautiful and comfortable. Seaside Cottage met every need. The staff is very friendly,helpful and interested in what you have seen on Barbados. Barbados has a lot to offer and would be pity not to visit all the places of interest and amazing different beaches. It would be highly advisable to rent a car.The "Bajans" a very amiable and supporting when ever you need help or you've been lost. We've feel save at every time. It's a pleasure to discover Barbados. A special thank to Wolfgang for all the help, support and organization while preparing the trip.

Simply the best....

We’ve stayed on the Island many times before and the place remains as welcoming as back in 1984. But of all the places we’ve stayed, Inchcape Villas is by far the best- by a mile. Seaside Cottage A is in our view perfect for a couple with its airy open plan layout and three terraces. You don’t need aircon (or even a fan) since the bedroom is well ventilated by louvered shutters and we always sleep even better at Inchcape Villas than at home! Having just finished our second stay we had no hesitation in putting down a deposit for next year – it really is that good and all the staff are first rate with special praise for our maid Norma who kept our cottage immaculate. You do need a car here and suggest you check this out with Wolfgang before you arrive as we’ve met a few who had to wait over a week for one. Well done Wolfgang and Rosie for running such an enjoyable holiday experience.

Superb Holiday Accommodation

We really were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Inchcape Villas. The architecture and gardens are beautiful, the location perfect and apartments are of a very high standard indeed. The property is a very short drive (5 mins) to Oistins, where there is the fish market for superb locally caught fresh-fish at very reasonable prices, a good supermarket, etc... We came this time with surfing in mind: the property is located between Freights Bay and Surfer's Point - under 5 minutes to one or the other and great waves at both spots. The welcome was warm and Wolfgang and Rosie are charming hosts. I intend to return to my new favourite Barbados accommodation and would not hesitate in recommending to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, see you soon!

Very well designed and perfect for a couple. The three decks give various aspects so you can enjoy the sun, the views of the coast or tropical gardens depending on your preference. The staff do a good job, they are discreet and efficient. All in all a great place to stay

A great find along the south coast!

My wife and I stayed at Inchcape for 8 nights - the first two nights in Seaside Cottage B and the remaining nights in Seaside Cottage C. THE ACCOMMODATION: Both cottages were beautifully decorated and laid out, each with two floors - the bed on the upper floor and the kitchen/living/bathroom on the ground floor. Each had an outdoor terrace at ground level, and Seaside Cottage B had an outdoor deck on the upper floor. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery we needed, although no spices, oils, coffee, or tea. Both cottages had a great cross-breeze, so we were never too hot. We were pleased with the cleanliness as well, although we would advise keeping all food in the fridge to avoid attracting ants. The drain in the shower of Seaside Cottage C drained quite slowly, but other than that everything worked perfectly. Rosi and Wolfgang were exceptionally nice, and they have great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, etc., on the island. The other staff are excellent and friendly as well. THE LOCATION: Inchcape is situated on the southern tip of Barbados, which means that during the winter months you can see the sun rise over the water in the east and set over the water in the west. From the beautiful and big garden/yard at Inchcape, with the chairs and day beds overlooking the water, we would watch each sunrise and sunset. It was magical! For those who know the story of the Little Prince, we felt like we were on his planet: to watch the sunrise and sunset, all we had to do was turn our chairs around! There is a little corner store for snacks and basic provisions a short walk away, and a really great bar/restaurant about 200 yards away, and two big beaches within walking distance, but to explore beyond that you will need a car. When we were there, all of the beaches along the east coast were covered with seaweed -- when I asked a few locals about it, they said it happens to both coasts, and it isn't easy to predict when it will happen. While my wife and I do not kite surf, we saw many on the two nearby beaches - Silver Sands in particular - and we've heard that it is a particularly good spot for this sport. We also took advantage of Inchcape's offer to arrange transportation to/from the airport, as well as the rental car - both were handled seamlessly. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Dreamlike Holidays!

We totally enjoyed our fourth stay at Inchcape Seaside Villas. This is such a great place and once you found it you keep coming back. Inchcape has such a wonderful setting with a beautiful tropical garden to relax and a great beach in front. The owners Rosi and Wolfgang as well as the whole staff are very friendly and helpful. If you want to calm down and relax and/or do all kinds of watersports, this is the right place. We love the architecture and the interior design of the villas. Everything is very authentic, elegant and with lots of atmosphere. A real gem on Barbados. We hope to come back soon!

Inchcape Seaside Villas is great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Inchcape Seaside Villas, it was exactly the type of Barbados holiday we were looking for. The property overlooks the Caribbean, at a location popular for kite surfing; it was beautiful to see so many kites in the air! The villa was very nice and clean, and the view from the grounds is spectacular. It was so peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the balmy breeze at night. It's a great location from which to explore all parts of the island by car. It's a short car drive into Popular Oistins, for the fish market, groceries, etc. nice beaches within walking distance, and just a casual stroll to the Surfers Bay beachside restaurant. Norma and the staff are very pleasant; and Wolfgang was very attentive. A great place to stay when visiting Barbados!

Relaxing holiday

We were there from 27/10/2014 to 13/11/2014 Inchcape Seaside. Before that, we had quite a few times in Barbados, but we have never seen such a clean and well maintained apartment. It was a perfect holiday. It all started with a punctual pick-up service, a very nice taxi driver and the welcome in the house. We stayed in the Cottage C. In addition to a well-equipped kitchen and a gallery on there the bed is, this apartment also has two terraces. The complex is very quiet so we could spend a truly relaxing holiday. The sight of the well-tended garden every day was a little highlight for us. The maids do a great job and are very very nice. Wolfgang and Rosi course we do not want to forget. They give advice on tours, organisieren a car (full service!) And are always available for questions. A very nice couple. A rental car is highly recommended. Our conclusion: On our next trip to Barbados, definitely go back Inchcape Seaside.

Unique boutique type of apartment hotel

Its my fourth time I am coming to Inchcape. It was an ad hoc decision and I could only get an apartment for a week. The weather is fantastic, "Barbados style". This is high season in Barbados. Book early! Thanks to the owner to make it possible.

The perfect place to stay in Barbados!

For us the Inchcape Villas was the best thinkable place to stay in Barbados. The property is absolutely beautiful and the real experience is much better than the impression you get from the website! We drove quite a bit over the island but did not see any better place where we could have stayed! The hosts Rosi and Wolfgang are a fabulous and lovely couple who are very open and always have insider recommendations which you would never spot on your own. We will certainly be back! We are the people who discovered Silver Sands for the sport of windsurfing. We were the first windsurfers in Silver Sands and made Silver Sands known as one of the best wave windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in the world. We are part responsible for the boost in tourism for the area we are located in. Numerous articles written by us and written by others about us and our activities, which were published in magazines wold wide and so contributed to lift the south coast of Barbados on the world map for outdoor activities as windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, surfing, boogie boarding cycling and many other sports. And in the tailwind of those who are now coming to take advantage of our incredible outdoor sports conditions, the ones who just seek to relax on a white sand beach also make a good percentage of tourist arrivals to the island.

The Inchcape Seaside Villas are situated in a unique location, right on the water at the western end of Silver Sands Beach. Inchcape, as it presents itself today, developed from a plantation property in 1920 and combines now the charm of the old with all modern amenities. Due to our location and proximity to the water we enjoy the best climate Barbados has to offer.
The houses have constantly been renovated and upgraded and Inchcape is recognized today as a unique and one of the most luxurious properties of such a kind in Barbados. Our beach is a beautiful and almost private beach, and has it all, from calm waters like on a pond to a small shore break at one end of the beach, which makes it the perfect beach paradise which again suits a broad range of holiday makers. Silver Sands Beach can be for everybody, from the sport enthusiast to the one who just wants to relax and enjoy the beautiful turquoises waters of this pristine white sand beach.
