Situada a 300 metros de la playa, esta casa de vacaciones se encuentra cerca del pueblo de Elmer y a menos de media milla a lo largo de la playa de un área de excepcional belleza natural que se extiende a varios kilómetros de Elmer a Littlehampton. Las playas en esta área permanecen tranquilas, incluso durante los períodos de verano más concurridos y con islas de rocas hechas por el hombre cerca de la costa y accesibles durante la marea baja, la playa es maravillosa para explorar y es ideal para nadar, pescar, practicar windsurf y caminar. Cockle Cottage suited us well.

Cockle Cottage suited us well. We were there for two weeks, mainly to visit friends and family, as we originally came from Bognor but now live in Yorkshire.. It was the ideal setting for us and wonderful to take my Golden Retriever, Poppy to the beach every day...just a short walk away. The cottage has everything you could need and was very comfortable...and just a short walk from The Elmer pub, which does excellent meals and Real Ale! We recommend Cockle Cottage to everyone....no matter your age. We are 74 and Mum is 93!

Cute cottage

The property was very cute and comfortable. Packed with all the comforts of home. The courtyourd garden was a sun trap and had lively flowers. We stayed for a week and had a wonderful stay.

Cockle cottage was lovely.

Cockle cottage was lovely. Just a couple of things to improve a stay. The plates and glasses were very dirty. I had to wash them before use. Not cleaners fault. The dirty plates were put under clean ones. The towels were so rough they actually scratched your skin. As if the soap had not been rinsed out of them. A dust pan and brush would have been handy.

The cottage is in a great location a short walk to the beach.

The cottage is in a great location a short walk to the beach. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable. Nearby Arundel was interesting to visit plus lots of walks on the beach and the nearby woods. Despite the stormy weather the cottage was lovely and warm. The only negative is the extremely narrow driveway which is not suitable for large vehicles. Nothing that can be done about this however and most small cars would be able to navigate it unscathed. Lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage. 5 adults, 1 child and a dog. Plenty of room for us and close to the beach/local amenities. The cottage had everything we needed for the week. Lovely setting. Another lovely holiday at Cockle Cottage. The local people at Middleton-on-Sea are most welcoming. Always look forward to the homemade biscuits on arrival. The dog had a good time walking on the beach and paddling in the sea. Lots of nice meals out in the local pubs serving great food.

A very comfortable and well kept property.

A very comfortable and well kept property. They definitely deserve 10 out of 10. Could not fault it well worth a try.(see for yourself you won't be disappointed) . I would definitely book again as this was 1st. visit to cockle cottage But have stayed at mussel cottage 4 times. Both properties very high standard.

This was our second visit to Cockle Cottage, we love it and so does the dog. The Cottage is lovely and private with only a short walk to the beach. There is plenty to see and do in the area. The Beresford is a lovely friendly pub serving great food.
