Esta fantástica casa de vacaciones familiares se encuentra en un AONB que ofrece hermosas vistas del encantador pueblo y el río. Todo en la planta baja.
Sala de estar: con TV con canales Freeview, reproductor de DVD con una selección de DVD, reproductor de CD y puertas que dan al jardín.
Cocina / comedor: con horno eléctrico, placa de gas, microondas, nevera / congelador, lavavajillas, lavadora y suelo de madera.
Dormitorio 1: con cama de matrimonio.

Baño: con bañera, cabina de ducha y WC. Calefacción central de gas y gas (£ 25 por semana, £ 20 por breve descanso octubre-marzo), electricidad, ropa de cama y toallas incluidas. Cuna y trona. Este espacioso bungalow totalmente modernizado está situado en las afueras de Frosterley en Upper Weardale en un AONB, en una posición elevada con hermosas vistas del pueblo y el río. Una base de vacaciones ideal para paseos excelentes en la hermosa campiña. Rutas de pesca, equitación y ciclismo en las inmediaciones. La histórica catedral de la ciudad de Durham está a 29 km. La ciudad comercial de Hexham, la Cascada de la Alta Fuerza y el Distrito de los Lagos están a poca distancia. Un pub de campo popular está a poca distancia. Compre 1/4 de milla.

This is a well-appointed property, clean and tidy with all you could need. The owners are close at hand and helpful, available for advice on the local and surrounding areas. The views are wonderful, its peaceful, quiet and a great place to unwind and relax.

This cottage is tucked away in a quiet area on the edge of the village.

This cottage is tucked away in a quiet area on the edge of the village. A short walk into the village where there is a co-op shop and fish and chip shop. There is also a railway station for the Weardale Railway. Didn't try the pub in the village as doesn't look like it does food.Surrounded by beautiful and interesting countryside with remnants of the areas lead mining history still visible.The cottage is comfortable and the living rooms are spacious. Ample parking directly at front of the cottage.The cottage is advertised as no wifi available but there is some limited wifi available at one end of the cottage (kitchen/diner). There is a good O2 signal though. If you are a BT/EE customer there is a hotspot you can connect to.There is a freesat TV which did on many channels show poor or no signal. It isn't a smart TV.Recommend a trip to Allenheads for the mining heritage centre which also has a great cafe. Also a trip on the Weardale Railway to Bishop Auckland.

simple summer break

The property a lovely comfortable home. Clean and tidy, things work well. Beds were comfortable. The location is very peaceful and sheltered. Nice walk immediately from house. And many great activities a short drive away. Owners were excellent too.

We have just spent a week in late Sept/Oct and everything was perfect.

We have just spent a week in late Sept/Oct and everything was perfect. It was just what we needed after being in lockdown and working from home. The bungalow was cosy and felt extremely homely which was added to by Jim and his wife who were always there should you need any help or information. Excellent location.

Excellent location. Quiet village, lovely owners and friendly cat/dog. Good Co-op store in Frosterley. Sainsburys and good pubs in Bishop Auckland short drive away. Will definitely return.
