Este encantador chalet de madera de una sola planta se encuentra en una zona tranquila, detrás de la casa de los propietarios, y tiene vistas a su propio prado con vistas a las colinas. Situado entre la costa de Solway y el noroeste del Parque Nacional del Distrito de los Lagos, tiene una ubicación ideal, con fácil acceso para explorar los lagos. Cockermouth, Keswick y Carlisle están a aproximadamente 25 minutos en coche. Un poco más lejos está el Muro de Adriano y la frontera escocesa. Perfecto para los entusiastas del aire libre, los turistas y aquellos que buscan unas vacaciones relajadas. Compre 100 yardas, pub y restaurante 1½ millas.

Hay un pequeño paso hacia la entrada. Hasta dos perros solamente.

Lovely lodge.

Lovely lodge. Great location. Very clean. Staff were so accommodating. Lovely setting. Excellent value for money. If one thing without sounding critical. Just a nice comfy sofa would of been better than the conservatory type furniture. As hard toget comfy on. As no expense spared anhwh3wre else on the lodge. Great place if you want to chill and relax.

Great place if you want to chill and relax. Bit too far from the Lakes in my opinion. However we had a great time. Just what the doctor ordered and the dogs loved the paddock and the beach at Allonby which was only a 15 minute drive away. Attention to detail from the owners was brilliant.

Had a great time with my friend and 2 dogs . Went on car trips twice 30 mins drive roughly to most places. Wigton is 2 and half miles away we walked one day . Cottage is clean and was great for the dogs in the garden. We felt safe and would be booking for next year

It's a great place to stay.

It's a great place to stay. Sparkling clean with everything you need. Kids and dog friendly. Quiet with a lot of privacy. You can fell like home in there. Good location for exploring Lake District, Carlisle and the shore. I will highly recomend.

A great little cottage.

A great little cottage. Tucked away in a small village behind the owners house. There's a huge garden to enjoy with a seating area. The cottage itself is home from home. With everything you need. The owners left us bread milk tea bags ect as well as all the cleaning things you need on a day to day basis. The surrounding area is beautiful and only a few miles away are the lakes of the national park. The only downside was no Wi-Fi. I would recommend this cottage.

A really Beautiful little home away from home. We loved Hedgehog Meadows it was a really well thought out little cottage, lots of thoughtful little extra's. The Owner/caretaker is so friendly and helpful. Really lovely area. We are definitley thinking of returning soon.

Lovely little setting, back to nature. Perfect for our dog, fenced in and small field at front for exercise. Cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. Would highly recommend. Love the lakes.

Very compact but very well kitted out with obvious care by the owner. Large paddock great if you have a dog. Not a lot nearby but great for a relaxing break especially if you get good weather
