Casa moderna, alojamiento de muy buena calidad, amplio jardín, zona tranquila, a 5 minutos del pueblo. Planta baja:
Calentado por calefacción central de gas y que comprende:
Salón / comedor: con sofá y sillón de tres plazas, mesa y sillas de comedor, TV, DVD, radio CD y puerta al jardín.
Cocina: con horno eléctrico y vitrocerámica, nevera, congelador, lavadora y microondas. . Primer piso:
Dormitorio 1: Con cama matrimonial, armario y sorteos.
Dormitorio 2: Con dos camas individuales, armario y sorteos.
Baño: con ducha sobre bañera, inodoro y lavabo. Todo el combustible, ropa de cama y toallas. Cuna disponible. Jardín cerrado con césped grande y terrazas con muebles de jardín. Aparcamiento en carretera.

Barleycorn disfruta de una situación tranquila, un agradable paseo de 5 minutos a través del Fitz Park hasta el centro de Keswick y a dos minutos de la piscina de ocio.

The cottage itself was situated so close to town and right next to the park which was lovely. Some of the furniture is well worn. Such as the settee and the single beds. There was only 3 cereal bowls for 4 people and it would be beneficial to have WiFi. On a rainy afternoon it was disappointing to find that the DVD player didn’t work. The two of us were very happy with Barleycorn.

The two of us were very happy with Barleycorn. The cottage was spotless on arrival. Living area comfortable with a large TV. Kitchen is smallish but well equipped. No dishwasher but that didn't matter. Double bed comfortable and shower very good. Heating works well with simple room thermostat - could benefit from having a timer to turn the heating off at night - we had to turn down at bedtime and turn up manually in the morning. Outside garden very dog friendly. No information about the parking - we just parked on the road next to the cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed at Barleycorn and love the house and it's location. Think the double bed is too small, and in this day and age it is surprising and disappointing that WIFI is not available . Been to barleycorn many times absolute love this cottage and location. The garden is excellent for our poocha. We understand that with the covid it needs extra cleaning but with the time scale it is inconvenient not getting in until 5pm and being out by 9am. The cottage is immaculate and it is lovely to see that it has been freshened up with a lick of paint. The location is great a short walk through the park to the town centre. The only thing i would suggest is getting rid of the old wooden bench and rusty barbecue in the garden . We will certainly be back again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A very comfortable cottage in a quiet location, nice big enclosed garden if you have a dog. Easy access to Fitz park and Keswick town centre. The heating went off on the Sunday we were there, but a chap came out and fixed it within an hour. This is the second time in a few months. One concerning thing was there was no up to date gas safety certificate which is a requirement by law, so not sure if there is some neglect, I would check this before you book.

Loved the cottage but i think they need to do some repairs i think it could do with a fresh lick of paint in the kitchen and bathroom, the bathroom radiator is rusty and the sealant in the kitchen needs replacing. The freezer department in the fridge needs defrosting and the boiler went off twice when we were there. But i love the cottage and the location is excellent so i will be back again. Thanks for a lovely holiday .

Excellent cottage we have stayed here for the last 6 years.

Excellent cottage we have stayed here for the last 6 years. Very nice cottage in a lovely location with great garden. Would be better if there was WiFi available and also if the TV could receive more than a few channels.

Iv been to barleycorn for the last couple of years the location is excellent and the cottage is lovely but it could do with a lick of paint and the bathroom needs a deep clean, i hope this cottage gets the tlc it needs because it would be such a shame to let it go. I wont let it put me off this time i have got another holiday booked hopefully it will get the attention it needs.
