Lovely location with good views from the property.

Lovely location with good views from the property. Ralph and Anne were friendly and most welcoming whilst respecting our privacy during our weeks stay. They generously left us milk and chocolate biscuits and a bottle of wine in arrival which was much appreciated. We were also advised of local places to visit and to eat which was very helpful. The property is convenient to stroll into town or walk the adjoining coastal paths. Even a modern public swimming baths nearby (if only we could swim) lol. So much to see we barely used our car all week except to drive to Marlwood gardens as we know the region well with all its lovely coasts and villages. Wow, this is the perfect cottage to get away and wind down.

Wow, this is the perfect cottage to get away and wind down.. You have everything you need at your fingertips.. After a stressful time in shielding I was a bit nervous, but everything was so meticulously clean and with soaps & washing up liquid all antibacterial. I felt so safe and was able to relax. The views is amazing, and with plenty of outdoor furniture & two outlooks to use them from it was perfect to relax & watch the sun go down. It’s Just a little walk into the harbour or to lovely secluded coves. The Thatched in just round the corner perfect for meal out We had planned to visit local areas while staying, but we were so comfortable and relaxed we Never ventured far. In the whole two weeks we ended up only using car once to Biddeford to catch the boat to Lundy Island. The welcome wine and essentials were a lovely surprise. The owners Ralf, Ann & mum we’re so friendly couldn’t do enough for you and always on hand if you needed anything. This wasn’t the holiday we had planned, but It turns out Palm Leas was the holiday we needed. We will be back as soon as we can... Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had an amazing week at Palm Leas.

We had an amazing week at Palm Leas. The cottage is in a beautiful position with views overlooking the sea and most evenings we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset from the patio in the beautiful private garden. It is a spotlessly clean and comfortable cottage with tasteful decorations and a well equipped modern kitchen. We found the owners, Ralph and Anne extremely friendly and helpful. They stored our bikes in the garage. Their recommendations were very useful and after a long journey the welcome package of wine, biscuits tea, coffee and milk was gratefully received. We found the location of the cottage perfect for both walking along the coastal paths and walking into the centre of Ilfracombe. We would definitely recommend Palm Leas and hopefully will return for another holiday. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The comfort and facilities this property offered were superb.

The comfort and facilities this property offered were superb. The proximity to Ilfracombe was wonderful making it easy to walk there for a meal, shopping or just a wander round the harbour. Plenty of places nearby to visit and Ralph and Ann were extremely helpful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will probably return in the not too distant future. We particularly liked the fact that you could enjoy it all year round as it has central hearing and a log burner.

Palm Leas was a comfortable place to spend the week. The sea view was stunning and there is a garden and patio area to sit in. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and were able to give advice when asked. We had sound nights' sleep because the bed was comfortable and we were tired after active days. There is off road parking and lots of information was available to us. Walking to Ilfracombe Harbour was fairly quick and there is car parking available in the town if your wish to drive.

We really enjoyed our stay and our hosts Ann and Ralph couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. The cottage is a short walk from the harbour and town centre and is very quit as in a cul de sac. There is a good sea view from the lounge and the cottage was very clean ,comfortable and well equipped . We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation

This little cottage is a real home from home.

This little cottage is a real home from home. We couldn't have wished for more. The accommodation was extremely clean and well equipped with a little private patio to enjoy the stunning views and watch the sun go down at the end of the day. There are walks straight from the door and the town is only a stone's throwaway. The welcome pack was extremely appreciated and Ann and Ralph were the perfect hosts. I wouldn't hasten to recommend.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it felt like home. A very warm welcome and plenty of details about the property given. Great location with a short walk down to the harbour and shopping available locally. Would recommend for a couples getaway!
