Goza de una gran cantidad de carácter y características originales, como techos altos y una amplia escalera de madera tallada, combinada con una moderna cocina y baño (uno de los cuales tiene una romántica bañera victoriana independiente enrollable con chimenea). Situada en una de las zonas más pintorescas de Ventnor, frente al atractivo parque, la cabaña se encuentra a pocos pasos de la explanada, los jardines botánicos, la playa, los pubs y restaurantes locales. Compre 1/2 milla.

The house was a pleasure to stay at. The welcome pack was the best we have ever received. The house had everything you could need. We were 3 couples and enjoyed every minute, plenty of space, comfort and would definitely recommend this accommodation for a family or a get together of friends.

Beautiful house in a great location

Absolutely beautiful period house. With everything you could ask for. Very clean with lots of added extras fresh flowers, fruit, wine & chocolates. Opposite a beautiful park and well placed to explore any where in the island. Absolutely 5 star. We will be back

The house is beautiful.

The house is beautiful. Virtually everything was catered for, from a bottle of champagne and chocolates on arrival to shower gel and shampoo in each bathroom. Great for the dogs having the park directly opposite. The driveway is a little narrow if you have a bigger car. It was lovely to sit on the front porch late afternoon and enjoy the last rays of the day with a glass of something nice! The kitchen is well equipped and our "chef" loved using the Rangemaster. The only downside for us was that we had a lot of rain on a couple of nights and had water seeping into the utility area, although this didn't affect our stay. It was disappointing that when I informed the contact I had, I didnt get any response  That being said, we had a great week, loved the house and would highly recommend it. This was one of the best holidays ever.

This was one of the best holidays ever. admittedly the weather made a big difference but we loved Ventnor and the house was perfect. The extra touches of flowers, wine, biscuits, chocolates and huge fruit bowl was so welcoming . The house is beautiful and spacious and no comfort has been spared . It is perfectly situated across from the park and the coast walks. We felt so comfy when we came home and with two different places to sit outside we could get some piece and quiet if we wanted. What a fantastic holiday yet again.

What a fantastic holiday yet again. This is the second time I have been to this delightful property in 9 months. First time with 4 adults. This time my better half had her 50th birthday. We arrived the end of August. I had let the owner Phil know about her birthday a couple of weeks before we arrived. Himself, his wife and their housekeeper decked out the dining room in 50 balloons, chocolates, champagne, flowers, and birthday cake. At cost to me obviously but they really really went over and above what they did for me. I cannot praise them enough. For me this house is my sanctuary. We took the 4 kids 18-26 age with us this time as a family and every one of them had a lovely time. The weather throughout the whole week was exceptional which does make a difference but it's not the end of the world if it rains. Would I recommend this house? In a heartbeat. We had a fabulous stay, the house is really spacious and has everything you need.

We had a fabulous stay, the house is really spacious and has everything you need. The welcome package is a lovely touch. The location is perfect with Ventnor park over the road and the botanical gardens easily walkable. Ventnor beach itself is also walkable, can recommend the Spyglass Inn for food and beer at sunset watching the waves! We had very small children so we had to block the stairs with a chair as the balustrade has quite wide gaps but that was fine. The enclosed back garden is also not really suitable for very small children unless fully supervised. Fantastic attractions for kids (in order of preference) are: Robin Hill country Park (just brilliant) Tapnell Farm (superb) Black gang chine (a bit dated but charming. Bring your own food though the catering options are dire!) The house itself is absolutely wonderful, it’s pricey but you get what you pay for, amazing location and everything you need with nice touches everywhere. Thank you for a great holiday that will live long in the memory. Michael, Hanna, Eddie and Harold (3 & 1 years)

Exceeded our expectations

We have hired a number of properties across the country, and Candlelight has jumped right to the top of our top 10, absolutely breath taking. A victorian house with so many of the original features still in perfect condition, and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. This truly felt like a home from home experience, and what a joy to have such a generous welcome pack to boot. If the sun hadn't shone everyday I'm sure we would have been just as happy staying indoors.

Great house with plenty of space for six people to stay. Worth noting only three bedrooms though two twins and a double, so suits two couples and a couple of kids. We had for older children and our youngest slept on the settee in our bedroom which was not a big deal (sofa bed).
