Ubicados en los terrenos de la casa del propietario y renovados en el verano de 2019, estos encantadores antiguos establos están rodeados de paisajes maravillosos y se han convertido a un muy buen nivel. Es una base de vacaciones magníficamente conveniente para la ciudad de Bath, patrimonio mundial, con sus edificios históricos, sus famosos teatros y excursiones por el río, y Bradford-On-Avon y sus hermosos canales, así como la ciudad de Wells, Glastonbury Tor, Longleat House y Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge y cuevas, Stourhead y Wookey Hole. Muy cerca se encuentra el pueblo de Kilmersdon, hogar de la canción de cuna Jack and Jill. También el hermoso y pintoresco pueblo de Mells está a solo 2, 5 millas de distancia. Luckington Stables 1, what a lovely place to stay.

Luckington Stables 1, what a lovely place to stay. The property was very clean, nicely furnished & finished to high spec. Outside were lovely views, decking area, bbq & overhead covered hot tub.Communication & recommendations from hosts.Would definitely stay again !

Much has already been said about The Stables - all good, all valid. A very comfortable holiday cottage. The peace of the surroundings was much appreciated after taking on Somerset roads and lanes! The hot tub was therapeutic after a touring day! Our host - Alec - had provided detailed guidance both to the Cottage and to the surrounding area. We made full use of his suggestions for town and country visits - again, a much appreciated hospitable touch. Our dog - even a toy awaited him - loved sitting on the decking watching the world - and the horses - go by. A thoroughly recommended holiday accommodation. Thank you.

A beautiful setting and so peaceful all you hear are the birds and the occasional winney of a horse I have not slept so well in ages. Well equipped accommodation and outdoor area for sitting and enjoying the peace and quiet. The people on site could not have been more helpful .When i told them i had disability problems getting out of the chair they brought me a reclining chair the next morning and set it up for me. Superb attention to detail. Large supermarket and shopping centre in Midsomer Norton and small local shop in village .

Absolutely loved our break - everything was catered for, even had a dog bed and treats for our 4 legged family member! There were all the little extras that I usually take with me: washing up liquid, cloths, salt and pepper, tea towels, towels. Will definitely be returning!

Great accommodation stunning views and very friendly and welcoming owner, Made to feel very comfortable. 10am check out was a little early but that’s the only negative. Location is a slight issue if you want to go walking very narrow roads and no footpaths.

we stayed for 1 week very peaceful nearest pub 1 mile away nearest shop 1 mile away hot tub was brilliant Alex the owner was brilliant he was there every day checking hot tub making sure they was clean for use checking if there was any problems or if there was anything we needed him to do he was brilliant the cottage was very clean and tidy even left a small gift set for us and our dogs on arrival I would recommend this place for anyone wanting a peacefull holiday also places to visit were half hour to hour drive away I will be returning here in the future

Great cottage in a lovely location at a working stables. The owner (Alex) was great and nothing was too much trouble. We holidayed with an adult requiring special needs and the cottage was perfect. Would definitely recommend this cottage whether you are a family or a couple.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at luckington stables.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at luckington stables. The second we parked the car outside the cottage we felt at home. We was greeted and welcomed by one of the sons there. The cottage was large, bright, airy and lovely. The furniture was beautiful and we had everything we wanted and needed. The garden was so lovely. I was able to leave the door open and let my dog explore the courtyard and garden as she pleased. It was so beautiful being in the garden with a cup of tea playing fetch with the dog at 6am! The cottage is located within the grounds of the owners home which occupies many fields for their 30+ horses. We were able to walk where ever we wanted and I went round to see each of the horses a few times (they were so friendly and loved attention) The cottage itself is located down a small lane. You could walk down the lanes to the local village (which is about 1.5miles) but i preferred to drive due to not wanting to walk the dog down the lanes. We visited many places nearby, colford, midsummer Norton (many shops there plus a vets!), the local asda was about 20minute drive away and it took about an hour to drive to Bath. The sons who run the cottages were friendly and did anything that was needed. For example, our lightbulb blew in the bathroom, so a quick text and he was at the door 2 minutes later with another bulb. I have always loved Somerset and have wanted to move there for many years now. I felt so at home staying at luckington stables and I will definitely book to stay again soon!

Great cottage with great hosts.

Great cottage with great hosts. Alex was extremely helpful and friendly. The cottage has recently been updated throughout but with some brilliant traditional touches still remaining. The wardrobe in the master bedroom is a beauty! My husband has mobility problems and when I spoke to Alex about the seating at the cottage he was able to supply an extra riser recliner chair. It felt like nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived there was tea, coffee, milk and biscuits waiting for us. There were also sweets for the kids and snacks and toys for the dogs as well. This was a great touch that we appreciated. The cottage provides everything you could reasonably expect in terms of kitchen equipment (and Alex was very gracious when I admitted that our spotty hooligan of a dog had destroyed the oven glove). The beds are comfy and we all slept well. The wifi reaches all the cottage as well as the decking (whilst I wouldn't chose a cottage on this basis it was lovely to sit outside and still be able to use my iPad). The kids loved the hot tub, and it was reassuring to see the water being tested each day. The dogs enjoyed running in the garden and it was large enough for them to get up to speed! There is ample seating inside and out and we were lucky enough with the weather to be able to make the most of this. The stables are in a quiet rural location but only a short drive or a brisk dog walk from local shops/pub. It is near a number of brilliant days out - e.g. Longleat safari park, Bath, Farleigh Hungerford Castle, Glastonbury. I would definitely recommend a stay at Luckington Stables.

had a lovely holiday, the hot tub was fantastic after a long day sight seeing. Alex was very thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble, always willing to help if needed. tea, coffee, suger , milk, biscuits even a toy and treats and a blanket for the dog were ready for our arrival. all in all we had a very good time at luckington stables. THANK YOU ALEX.
