La Fuie es una hermosa casa señorial ubicada en 11 acres del hermoso campo de Charentais. La casa en sí tiene 6 habitaciones con baño muy grandes, un gran salón y una sala de desayunos y un comedor formal. Hay una terraza para comer al aire libre. La gran cocina está bien equipada con estufa de estilo de gama. Además del alojamiento en la casa, hay 2 casas rurales, cada una con capacidad para 4 personas. La casa y las casas rurales han sido recientemente renovadas y decoradas a un alto nivel. Hay una piscina dentro de un área amurallada y los terrenos tienen bosques, un río y equipos de juego para que jóvenes y mayores disfruten. An incredible weekend!

Thank you so much for letting us stay to celebrate this important birthday! The house is absolutely incredible, the garden is huge and the pool area extremely agreeable. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Sarah, her husband and her brother were extremely welcoming and helped us setup the ambiance around the pool. An incredible stay, thanks to the hard work they have put in the house!

Managing the needs and expectations of a party of 17, aged from 4 to 80, could be a tall order but in beautiful La Fuie we were so lucky to find the perfect choice. From our warm welcome onwards from Sarah with a tour of the extraordinary range of facilities - great kitchen, lovely pool, hot tub a real hit with the younger members and wine cooler much appreciated by the older! All this and set in the most beautiful grounds with some picturesque market towns within easy reach one could not have found a better place to celebrate ones 80th. Is it too early to book for my 90th?John

The most lovely house in the French country side

Sophie was an outstanding host! The house was beautiful (even better than in the pictures) with plenty of space and activities. Sophie and her husband have thought of every single detail and have build an amazing property were you feel at home. There is not a single negative thing I can think about, I strongly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing! 5*

We stayed here for a family gathering for my father-in-law's 70th (23 people incl. kids). The property is beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice. Sarah was the kindest and most attentive host and goes out of the way to make your stay the best. The pool area and bar area are brilliant and the grounds are extensive. The house is extremely well equipped. We loved every minute here and would thoroughly recommend!

Excellent Accommodation, Wonderful Hosts.

We stayed as a party of 10 for a 50th Birthday celebration weekend. The house itself has a real wow factor, with very large bedrooms and up to date en-suites. The location is very quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The pool area is impressive, the pictures don't really do it justice. What really made our stay special was the help and attention we received from our hosts, Sarah & Tom. They went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a great time. Sarah and Tom provided evening meals twice for us, the quality of which was easily on par with a good restaurant. They also acted as an impromptu taxi service to get us to airports and restaurants. We'll definitely be back.

Maison somptueuse et hôtes incroyables // Somptuous House and amazing hosts

La maison est encore plus belle que celle qu'on imagine en regardant les photos ! Chaque pièce donne envie d'y rester à tel point que choisir sa chambre est difficile. Je conserverais bien ce lieu secret mais cela serait ingrat pour les hôtes Sarah et Tom qui ont été formidables avec nous. Merci. == The house is even more beautiful than the one you can imagine looking at the pictures! Each room makes you want to stay there, so much so that choosing the place to sleep is difficult. Abi’s birthday French escape

In a word, ‘fabulous’ the place itself is an exquisitely curated home we all wish we could live in forever. It has clearly been a labour of love; and it shows in all the details. From the individual bedrooms and reception rooms to simply stunning pool area. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful and a accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand with helpful suggestions for things to do or places to visit. Sarah provided a sumptuous meal for Abi for her birthday for 19 of us (and help me keep it secret until the last moment)! I am now looking for excuses to get groups of people to go to France so I can visit again. Utterly fabulous!!!

Nothing short of fabulous!

Just arrived home from the best week at La Fuie. The hosts Sarah, Tom and Mike were truly amazing and gave our family the best weeks holiday! From the beautiful house, the grounds, pool area and Sarah’s wonderful cooking, we could not have asked for more! We had 4 young children, a puppy and 10 adults and the house was perfect fit, bedrooms and social areas all very spacious! Pool area was fab, has a bar, hot tub and you can close off whilst you’re in there so you’re secure. Sarah did everything for us, booking vineyard tour, cooking meals, sorting the Vet etc, nothing is too much trouble and they thought of all the little details to make your trip memorable! We cannot thank you enough and cannot wait to come back to what was truly a very special place! Thank you!

The best service and stay we have ever had!

I cannot express how wonderful our stay at La Fuie was. Not only because the house and grounds exceeded our expectations, but because Sarah, Tom and Mike went above and beyond to ensure our trip was one to remember forever. La Fuie was even more magical in real life than the photographs show, the house has been so well looked after to such a lovely standard, every room is beautifully decorated, most with en-suites, and spotlessly clean. We felt like we were staying in a magical French chateau! The rest of the grounds were idyllic, especially the walled pool area! The photographs do not do it justice, the pool has been renovated to create the most tranquil and luxurious space with pool bar and hot tub! We spent our entire time outside and felt so relaxed it was like paradise. The villa is in complete privacy so we felt free to enjoy our holiday uninterrupted and enjoy the amazing place. Other than the house, Sarah did everything she could in the run up to our stay to liaise with me to plan every detail of our stay, she helped with organising airport transfers, helped us with groceries, activities for our stay such as a trip to a local vineyard and organising massages for our group, she cooked the most DELICIOUS food for us and did so many other little touches which just made us feel so cared for. I was totally blown away and cannot emphasise enough what fantastic service we were given it was unlike anywhere else I have EVER stayed, can't recommend enough!!!! THANK YOU! xx

Nous avons réservé 5 jours pour les 60 ans de mon mari. Nous étions 21 des grands parents aux petits enfants en passant par les oncles et tantes. Nous avons été accueillis par Sarah la propriétaire de manière chaleureuse. La maison, la dépendance, le domaine, tout est magnifique, propre, spacieux, très bien organisé et très bien décoré. Le salon est parfait pour accueillir tous les participants. Un feu de cheminée, un piano que nous avons utilisé avec plaisir car il y avait des pianistes parmi nous, une salle à manger parfaite. Nous avons tous pu parler sans qu’il y ait de résonance grâce aux poutres en bois au plafond sûrement. Nous n’avons pas profité de la piscine car en novembre … mais ce sera pour une autre fois car petits et grands rêvent de revenir. Encore merci Sarah et Tom

Manoir calme et reposant

Nous avons séjourné en famille et amis dans le manoir pour nous retrouver après le mariage de notre fils , un lieu dépaysant, calme ou nous avons pu nous reposer tout en écoutant simplement le bruit des oiseaux, une déconnection totale avec des hôtes à A100% à l’écoute et au petits soins envers nous Nous ne pouvons que le conseiller, rien ne manque que ce soit en intérieur q’en extérieur A conseiller à 100 %

Une maison de rêve

Nous avons réservé cette maison a l'occasion de notre mariage. C'est un endroit magnifique, décoré avec soins, lors de la visite, on en prend plein les yeux a l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, tout est entretenu parfaitement. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, toujours disponibles lorsque nous en avons besoin. Vous ne regretterez pas votre séjour à La Fouie. A louer les yeux fermés !!!!

Un grand merci à Sarah et Tom ! J'ai loué ce manoir à l'occasion de mes 30 ans. Le lieu est magique et reposant, les extérieurs sont magnifiques (grand terrain, piscine, jacuzzi). Le manoir est immense, bien agencé et très bien décoré ! Les hôtes sont très bienveillants et à proximité du lieu si besoin. Je recommande vivement merci encore !

A magical stay

The property is exceptional, and everything in and around it has been meticulously curated. Our stay exceeded our expectations in its greatest part due to the owners. The care and assistance we received was fabulous. Above and beyond the home itself, they made our stay extremely special. It will be nigh on impossible to top this rental and our hosts. Thank you ever so much for our brilliant stay.

Stunning Countryside Property

Our extended family of 10 adults and 10 children with ages ranging from 7 to 75 have just returned from a wonderful holiday in La Fuie. The property is magnificent with extensive grounds and a fabulous swimming pool, hot tub and bar area. The host Sarah Tom and Mike could not have been more helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful venue.

Stunning property with everything you need for a perfect holiday

Sarah and Tom were brilliant and their house offered us a great space to relax and play. We were a mixed group of friends with very young children and we had an amazing week away together! We were really well accommodated and looked after throughout the whole week. The house really is exceptional and even though we were a big group we had all the space and facilities to cater for everyone
