Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the peaceful location, beautiful views, and our host's warm hospitality. We appreciate your feedback regarding the washing machine. While our host is always happy to assist with laundry, we understand the convenience of having one in the villa and will certainly look into this for future improvements. Thank you for choosing Tuscan Retreats, and we hope to welcome you back soon! Warmest regards, The Team at Tuscan Retreats

Dear Mark, Thank you for the review and sorry for the late reply. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the property and we hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, Marie - Tuscan Retreats

We’re pleased you enjoyed the quiet, remote setting. The house has been successfully rented for many years, with the majority of reviews being 5 stars. It is simple but exactly as shown in the photos, with a well-equipped kitchen, and is regularly inspected. When you mentioned the Wi-Fi speed at the start of your 4-week stay (an issue never raised before), the owner arranged a new internet line and modem within a day or two – service we believe is 5-star. This also enabled streaming as well as Italian TV. The comfort of a sofa is subjective, but there is a second sofa available which can be moved into the living room as offered. We visited during your stay to better understand your concerns but found nothing inconsistent with the listing or previous guest experiences. For clarity, the property will now be described as “link-detached”, although the living and bedroom areas are entirely separate from the owner’s home, with thick walls ensuring privacy and quiet. When you expressed that the house was not as you had hoped – even comparing it unfavourably to the owners’ own home – you were offered a full refund if you preferred not to stay, but chose to remain. We always take feedback seriously and respond promptly to any concerns, as we did throughout your visit. Best wishes, Lorraine at Tuscan Retreats

Dear Cecilia, Thank you for the review and sorry for the late reply. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the stay at the property although you found it a bit secluded. We hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, Marie - Tuscan Retreats

Thank you for your 4 star review. We are glad you had a good holiday! I have checked the advert we input and we have not said the bathroom is upstairs, but I can see that guests may assume that it is by the way the advert is presented - we will change this. We will also speak to the owner re a handrail. It is always best to check if you have a guest with mobility issues since we would have recommended a different house for you. I am glad you still had a good holiday, and sorry again. Best wishes Lorraine at tuscan-retreats
