New Beautiful Modern Home - 3 millas de Stratton - tranquilo pero céntrico

Casa moderna de tres años construida a medida con el mejor material. Situado en 20 acres en el final de un largo camino privado. Construido en el borde de la montaña con impresionantes vistas del valle y Stratton montaña. Ciervo, oso, pavo y coyote cruzan la calzada y beben en el estanque. Enciende un fuego en el pozo de fuego, parrilla en la cubierta o nada en el estanque. Estarás solo y relájate aquí.

* Plano de planta abierto con muebles hechos a medida y una terraza de 60 "con vistas a las montañas y al valle. En invierno, el esquí está muy cerca y se puede patinar justo fuera de la casa. En la caminata de verano a la piscina local agujero en la parte inferior de la colina si no quieres nadar en el estanque. En otoño solo mira las hojas cambiar. La terraza tiene una maravillosa ducha exterior.

* Cocina: excelente cocina con 36 "de rango y muy bien equipada con ollas, sartenes y utensilios de calidad. Sonos en la cocina y el maestro para que puedas escuchar tu música mientras te relajas.

* Amplia habitación familiar en la planta baja con 6 literas y dormitorio con cama de matrimonio. Hay un baño grande en la planta baja con doble lavabo.

* Arriba tiene una gran sala de estar / cocina combinada con 1/2 baño en el pasillo, sala de abrigo, lavadero y suite principal en el pasillo.

* House está completamente fuera de la red. Paneles solares y baterías con generador de propano. Sótano piso radiante calor. Casa está situada al sur solar y muy aislada. Internet de alta velocidad y TV vía satélite.

Perfect family ski vacation

Couldn’t have asked for more for a Stratton ski week. Modern yet cozy and with so much light. The skating pond was just gravy! Will come back for sure.

Spectacular Stay

This property is great and we had a wonderful experience. If you are looking to get away, relax, and enjoy Southern Vermont I highly recommend. Property offers a beautiful view off the porch along with exceptional privacy. Francis was very helpful and made the experience very nice. Great spot, thanks again!

Fantastic modern home close to Stratton

My family and I had a great time staying at this home. It is very modern and clean (seems brand new), with comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. The off-the-grid aspect added a unique aspect without impacting comfort. Views are incredible and easy access to Stratton for skiing. Owner was responsive and we'd be happy to come back. An SUV (perhaps with snow tires) is recommended as it is at the top of a hill with some dirt roads.

A beautiful stay

We spent December and January at Francis' beautiful property. Francis was an excellent communicator and was available for questions through our stay. The house is comfortably decorated, charming yet sleek. The kitchen is well stocked and modern. The property itself is wonderful with beautiful views that I imagine would be astounding in all seasons. Stratton resort is just a few minutes drive. We all had 4 wheel drive vehicles which was important because, fortunately, we had amazing snow fall totals! While the road is a bit winding on the way up, it is not a frightening type of road and is fairly well taken care of. I'm a bit of a worrier about roads and so that is something I wondered before arriving ...so I figure maybe it will help someone to decide to go ahead and book! Francis, thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic holiday

It’s a great location, with everything perfectly available for a family. Kids had an awesome time swimming and canoeing and it’s incredibly relaxing for the adults. I couldn’t possibly recommend it more! One thing: if your satnav steers you towards King St, do NOT listen to it :)!

Truly special property

Francis has a beautiful house that was thoughtfully designed to maximize natural light and the stunning view of the mountains. We loved waking up to that view and enjoyed our time on the deck having dinner and using the outdoor shower. The pond on the property is an added bonus, and we enjoyed swimming and seeing the wildlife. The house is as described, comfortable, and well stocked - I highly recommend this property for a summer getaway and we would love to return! I should note that I do not think our small compact car would be able to handle the uphill dirt roads during winter/icy months, but in the summer it was fine.

Secluded and beautiful

Excellent place to stay if you're looking for a place away from it all. Excellent views of Stratton Mountain and close to tons of hiking trails, state parks, and swimming spots. The house had everything we needed and the host was helpful. Highly recommend this place and would definitely return!

Perfect for two families skiing at Stratton

The property is very spacious and comfortable. Nice kitchen with island seating plus big dining room table and open concept living room allowed great conversation. Basement with TV and foosball table plus bunk room kept the four boys happy when they weren’t skiing. The deck with view is beautiful. It took 10-15 minutes at most to drive to Stratton resort. Our owner was very responsive and easy to reach. We unfortunately had an issue with the heat early on, but the owner Francis did everything he could to resolve it as quickly as possible and bent over backwards to compensate us for that snafu. We will definitely rent this property again if we come to ski at Stratton with another family.

Wow! That view!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this property. It was peaceful and waking up to that view was amazing. The house had all the basics we needed during our stay. We enjoyed watching the birds (turkeys and a crane-type bird) visit the pond. Driving to the house is easier with a 4-wheel drive (we have a F-150 truck) because of the incline and gravel roads, but if it’s not winter any vehicle is fine, in my opinion. We would stay at this property again.

Beautiful!!!

Staying at the house gives an extreme sense of being in the mountain wilderness. Francis is a great host and the house is in tip top shape. We met some very helpful and friendly neighbors. We took daily swims in the pond. Wonderful location to explore mountain hiking and the rural towns of east and west Vermont.

Gorgeous place and beautiful view

Fran is always available for communication. The place is very clean and comfortable. Our family of 5 have plenty space to sleep. The house have everything you can think of and a lot of entertainments and activities for the family. It is close to the ski resort. Thank you very much. We hope the place will be available for the next visit.

Spectacular Views

Enjoyed our stay. Had a few questions which Fran quickly answered. As mentioned in previous reviews and by the home owner, television is available via satellite and does not work well in bad weather. We didn't realize until our last day there was an Xbox in the lower level living room. Only recommendation bring some videos. We will return. Fran - Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. Awesome Stay!

We stayed for 3 weeks in June and had a fantastic time! The home had amazing views and plenty of space for us to relax. Fran was very communicative and responsive. We ventured into Manchester and a few neighboring towns, but ended up spending a lot of time on the deck and in the pond. We would highly recommend staying at this property!

Lovely stay overlooking mountain vistas

This house is situated beautifully on the property, with expansive windows facing a gorgeous southern mountain view. It's modern, clean and spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked. Small comments for future travelers - if you're a sensitive sleeper, there are no curtains in the downstairs bedrooms and the sound transmits from the living room down. Would also recommend 4 wheel drive if you can. We have an old sedan and it was a bit tricky getting up the small hill the second day. We ended up leaving the car at the top of the hill and walking down the driveway. We ended up shoveling off a quarter of the pond and had our own homemade rink, which was INCREDIBLE. I love that the house felt serene and remote from everything and yet was only 15 minutes to Stratton mountain. Very recommended stay. Great for two families with kids.

4th of July weekend stay

The house is located at well maitained property with beautiful views of the valley. Inside and outside the house is built out of high quality materials and completely of the grid (I would like to have mine like that but town won't let me). Everything in the house is top shelf products, kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Going out on the huge deck you have beautiful view of the valley. Can't ask for better place to get rest and is very close to the Stratton Mountain. I am already thinking to go back there sometime in the fall when leafs changing colors if the house will be still available for rent.

Everything was outstanding!!!

Everything was clean and as described from the pictures. No surprises! Francis was more than helpful with anything that i needed help with! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area! 7-8 minutes from Stratton Mountain.

The house was beautiful. It fit 10 of us perfectly. We loved the openness of the upstairs. The modern kitchen was great to cook in and we enjoyed lots of games. We loved the radiant floor heat in the basement and all the eco friendly aspects of the house. The owner was easy to reach and very attentive. I'd have to say the best part were the gorgeous views of the mountains-seen from every spot in the house. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to come again!! Thank you!

House was completely designed for the views, summer breezes and solar heat/electric. Super insulated so warm in the winter and open design and breezes keep it cool in the summer.
