Este apartamento recientemente convertido da a la pequeña ciudad alpina de Chateau d’Oex en el valle de Sarine. Además de tres cómodas habitaciones, dos baños, un amplio salón y un área de cocina bien equipada, hay un balcón orientado al sur a lo largo del costado del salón y el dormitorio principal y una enorme e impresionante terraza abierta por tres lados que atrae la luz del sol en todo el día y mira hacia un maravilloso panorama de montaña. Los huéspedes de estos galardonados apartamentos tienen uso exclusivo de la piscina climatizada, sauna, baño de vapor, gimnasio, lavandería.

Chateau D'Oex: es una ciudad próspera con un excelente supermercado y tiendas de comida tradicional. Hay una amplia selección de restaurantes y cafeterías, junto con alquiler de coches, alquiler de equipos deportivos, alquiler de videos y periódicos internacionales diarios. Hay bancos, una oficina de turismo, cine y museo. Todas las iglesias denominacionales, incluidas las anglicanas. Conciertos durante todo el año, recitales y eventos alpinos tradicionales. Actividades de invierno: esquí alpino y de fondo, patinaje sobre hielo, curling, boliche, trineo, raquetas de nieve, caminatas invernales en Wonderweg, paseos en globo aerostático. Visitas a granjas y paseos en trineo. Conciertos y recitales: consulte con la oficina de turismo para obtener hojas de información periódicas.

Fabulous and wonderful place to stay

Fabulous apartment - just like a second home and very comfortable and fully equipped. The host, Pam and her manager were so helpful. They went above and beyond. We are looking forward to staying another time!

Perfect home away from home!

We had a lovely summer stay, and found the apartment had everything we needed to cook, eat, relax, and enjoy in between trips out sightseeing and hiking. We were particularly impressed with private terrace and balconies, and all the amenities of the building like the pool and sauna. The apt is easy walking distance to restaurants in town and the chateau d'oex train station.

Thank you Amanda, I am delighted you enjoyed it and the enormous sunny terrace which is a joy as the sun is there from about ten am until evening which means, as you discovered, not only sunbathing and reading outdoors but alfresco lunches and evening meals with the barbecue and the fire pit. Nice holiday

We had a nice holiday in this apartment! Nice house, beautiful pool and beautiful terrace. However, there was no trash can in the kitchen, the freezer compartment and the fridge were also full of (old?) stuff. In short, the kitchen could be tidied up and cleaned, now I understand why there are no pictures of it on the website

Excellent trip with fantastic snow in Sannermoser. Train between Chateau d’Oex and Sannermoser was excellent and great way to unwind after the slopes.The apartment was a fair walk uphill from the station but well equipped, comfortable at the end of the day and the kids enjoyed the pool.Only thing is google map link on booking and to property in other side of Chateau d’Oex with different address so needs to be adjusted. Communication with owner Pamela was good and timely. Unfortunate issue of email jot coming through with certain contact info at check in, but all sorted in the end.

Wir durften ein paar schöne Tage in Pamelas Ferienwohnung verbringen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war ganz unkompliziert, wir haben uns in der Wohnung schnell heimisch gefühlt. Die Lage der Wohnung mit der herrlichen Aussicht und die Ruhe war für uns perfekt. Man kann von dort gut ins Dorf laufen

Pam's appartement is beautifully located in the Rosat residence, which offers multiple amenities, and gorgeous views. We love staying in Chateau d'Oex and highlighy recommend this spot.

Cozy apartment with an amazing view

The apartment is more pretty in real. I think the place is The moment you enter the apartment gives you a very cosy feeling. All the things you need are available in the house. There are lots of things available in the house from the People who stayed here before. From food to sanitary products. There is a swimming pool, sauna, laundry room and also a big living room available in the complex. The complex is clean and tidy. And the pool area is very clean. We went for 5 nights with my wife and my three kids. We had an excellent time. Geneva, Lausanne, Montreaux, bern and interlaken are all maximum 2 hours drive from this place. We had our own cars, so that was very convenient. The housekeeper is very responsive. We arranged a late check out because we had to drive a long way back and that was possible! In other words i would absolutely recommend this place if you like nature and want to stay in an apartment where everything is available.

A lovely apartment, very well equipped, in a beautiful location.

We knew that we wanted a family holiday in Château d’Oex – this apartment was the perfect location, just a short walk from the village. The apartment is comfortable and very well equipped. We loved eating meals on the terrace with views across the village and the whole valley, and had a wonderful view of the fireworks and bonfires on August 1st. (It would also give excellent views of the hot air balloon festival in January.) In short, we all loved it – and that includes boys of 5 and 8.

Perfect place

We were really pleased with the apartment and its facilities. It has a magnificent terrace: a perfect place for relaxing in the sun with a panoramic view across the valley. Chateau D is also a very good location with a character of its own. Sorry to come home.

Beautiful location and perfect apartment

Pamela’s apartment was the perfect apartment and location for our family Christmas holiday! It was magical and Pamela made us feel very welcome. From the Christmas decorations to the perfectly stocked kitchen we could not have chosen a better place. The village had everything we needed too. It is centrally located too. We skied in Château d’Oex. Saneen Moser, Interlaken , Gstaad and visited the Christmas markets in Montreux and the village of Gruyères. We will return

Fabulous!

A beautiful apartment, all just as described plus something else that no description can really convey, and that is the feeling of warmth and welcome one has on first entering the apartment. We immediately felt at home and loved every minute of our stay there and only wish we could have stayed longer. As we were due to arrive in the evening Pam had thoughtfully arranged for a welcome pack to be left for us which included everything and more we needed for our first night so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the comfort and charm of the apartment, and take in its stunning position overlooking the village. As someone who has known Chateau d'Oex for many years I would say that the fabulous panoramic views the apartment has over the village, the lovely valley and surrounding mountains cannot be beaten. Angelo also was everything we had been lead to expect from earlier reviews - friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient and thorough - the Residence itself and its excellent facilities beautifully maintained and spotless at all times. As well as exploring all that Chateau d'Oex itself has to offer we had days out via the cable car onto the local ski slopes at La Braye taking in the fabulous views, the restaurant, snowboarding and tobogganing, trips to Montreux by the panoramic express through glorious mountain scenery and to Gstaad, Les Diablarets and the amazing Glacier 3000 with its new twin peak walkway and panoramic restaurant, and to Gruyeres for the cheesemaking, the mediaeval castle and H R Giger museum. Truly something for all the family. Highly recommended.

Perfect Break!

We were lucky enough to spend a week in this apartment at the end of May, though unfortunately the weather this year had a different idea. This made us appreciate the apartment feeling so homely all the more. There is lots of space, very comfy, a pool & sauna and regardless of what the weather is doing the views, especially from the huge balcony are breathtaking. When the sun makes an appearance there is lots to do in and around Chateau d'Oex. We had a lovely train journey to Montreux, a great visit to Gstaad and Interlaken plus there are endless trails and paths to explore and at the end of it all there is nothing better to come back to the apartment and have a nice glass of wine!

Wonderful winter holiday

We spent in this lovely appartment two weeks of the New Year holidays and can confirm - it is really wonderful place. The view is stunning, the city is very comfortable for having a rest - this is not loudy touristic place but with all you may need in the same time. The same I can say about Pamela's appartment - the perfect one with the very welcoming attitude of both landlady and manager. Thank you!

We visited this beautiful part of the world in Feb 2013 and had a fantastic time. Not only was the weather perfect for skiing, Pam's apartment was a cosy home from home: extremely well equiped, lovely and warm with spectacular views of the surrounding area. The shared facilities were also top notch: the swimming pool and sauna are great, with more stunning views of the valley. We didn't use the honesty bar or lounge but both were clean and well-kept. We were also lucky enough to bump into some fellow residents, who were warm and friendly. Our week in Chateau d'oex was truly magical and one that we will never forget. Thank you very much Pam! Great apartment, amazing views. A home from home!

Thanks to Pam we had a fantastic time in Chateaux D'Oex in January. Her apartment is a very warm and welcoming spot nestled upon a stunning mountain backdrop, perfect for families or groups of friends. We loved the underfloor heating, kitchen cupboards full of interesting herbs and spices, the great terrace with fab views and the 5* infinity-type pool and sauna. As we were with our 1 year old we spent our time tobogganing on the nearby nursery slopes, going on a huskie ride (highly recommended!), up the mountain in a cable car and having cream teas and fondues in the lovely town of Chateax D´Oex. A perfect week in a very romantic and peaceful setting. Thanks Pam!
